Electric quadrupole interaction of Ce isomers in tin

The quadrupole coupling constants for 10⁺ Ce isomers have been measured in a polycrystalline Sn host. The quadrupole moment ratios are Q[¹³⁸Ce(10⁺)]: Q[¹³⁶Ce(10⁺)]: Q[¹³⁴Ce(10⁺)]=11.45(14)1.71(16). The temperature dependence of the EFG was measured in the range 160–468 K.Incumbent of the Arye Dissentshik Career Development Chair.We thank Dr. A. Approaches for introducing high molecular diversity in scaffolds: Fast parallel synthesis of highly substituted 1H-quinolin-4-one libraries

We have developed a two steps strategy for the parallel synthesis of highly diversified quinolin-ones. In the first step we have combined and improved different synthetic methods for generating quinolin-4-ones bearing four different substitutions at specific positions using round bottomed flasks. The synthesis was assessed for a large number of substituted quinolin-4-ones. In the second step, the improved method was adapted to a parallel array synthesis using a 12 positions carrousel as demonstrated for the synthesis of 42-variable quinolin-4-ones. The first combinatorial library set 14(a-x) was obtained with a chemical purity of more than 95% without purification, the second library set 15(a-r), which included two synthetic steps, needed combinatorial purification using an innovative parallel purifier. The proposed approach contributes to a more extensive diversification of molecular scaffolds in general and provides access to highly substituted quinolinones in particular.     

On Λ2-strong convergence of numerical sequences and Fourier series

We introduce the Λ²-strong convergence of numerical sequences and with it we generalize the concept of Λ-strong convergence of the results published by F. Móricz [2].     

Bivariate fibonacci like p-polynomials

In this article, we study the bivariate Fibonacci and Lucas p-polynomials (p ? 0 is integer) from which, specifying x, y and p, bivariate Fibonacci and Lucas polynomials, bivariate Pell and Pell-Lucas polynomials, Jacobsthal and Jacobsthal-Lucas polynomials, Fibonacci and Lucas p-polynomials, Fibonacci and Lucas p-numbers, Pell and Pell-Lucas p-numbers and Chebyshev polynomials of the first and second kind, are obtained. Afterwards, we obtain some properties of the bivariate Fibonacci and Lucas p-polynomials.     

Some Weighted Equi-Statistical Convergence and Korovkin Type-Theorem

In this paper, we will show a new weighted equi-statistical convergence and based on this definition we will prove a kind of the Korovkin type theorems. Also we will show the rate of the convergence for this kind of weighted statistical convergence and Voronovskaya type theorem.     

Facile synthesis of pyrrolo[2,1‐c][1,4]benzodiazepine‐5,11‐dione dimer

Efficient synthesis of biological important pyrrolo[2,1‐c][1,4]benzodiazepine‐5,11‐dione dimer linked through the C‐2 positions by fumarate group is described.
