Development of a test strip based on DNA-functionalized gold nanoparticles for rapid detection of mercury(II) ions

A rapid,sensitive,selective and reliable strip assay based on DNA-functionalized gold nanoparticles for Hg²⁺ detection has been developed,with a detection limit 5 nmol/L.The measurement principle was based on thymine-Hg²⁺-thymine(T-Hg²⁺-T) coordination chemistry and streptavidin-biotin interaction.The major advantages of this assay are that results can be read visually without any instrument in less than 10 min and that it does not require any sample pretreatment.     

UPLC-ELSD Determination of 1-Octacosanol in Raw Material and Health Products

Determination of the levels of 1-octacosanol is important in food stuff for the study of its pharmacological activities and health benefits. In this study, a novel, simple and fast internal standard method for the non-derivatization ultra-performance liquid chromatographic determination of 1-octacosanol in raw materials and health products was developed and validated based on evaporative light scattering detection. The linearity (r ² > 0.998), recovery (99.1–100.2%, RSD <2.7%), intra- and inter-day precision (RSD <3.8%), limit of detection (1.0 mg/L), limit of quantification (2.2 mg/L) of the 1-octacosanol were determined. The method was successfully applied to nine real 1-octacosanol products. The results of analyses had close agreement with the labeled claims of 1-octacosanol content in these products. Compared with the classical gas chromatography method, the developed method was simpler, faster and more environmentally friendly due to avoiding any derivatization step. This protocol represents a rapid and feasible method for quality control of 1-octacosanol products.

     

Copper‐catalyzed Clauson–Kass pyrroles synthesis in aqueous media

An efficient and convenient copper‐catalyzed Clauson–Kass reaction of 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrofuran with amines in aqueous media has been developed, providing a wide range of N‐substituted pyrroles in good yields. It is noteworthy that the Clauson–Kass reaction of 2,5‐dimethoxytetrahydrofuran with p‐phenylenediamine or m‐phenylenediamine proceeds smoothly to afford the corresponding monopyrroles and bispyrroles with high selectivity in impressive yields. A plausible mechanism for the formation of N‐substituted pyrroles has been proposed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Synthesis and characterization of phenol‐based biaryl proton conducting polymers

Biaryl hydroxy polymers with orthogonal disposition of proton transporting ? OH moieties have been synthesized via conventional free radical polymerization. The polymers are characterized for their thermal stability and proton conductivity, and the results are compared with the corresponding styrenic hydroxy polymers. The orthogonal disposition of ? OH moieties in biaryl polymers does result in lower E_a for proton transport. However, the lower E_a values in biaryl polymers did not translate into a net increase in proton conductivity. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem, 2012     

嵌套简单ILU分解代数预处理方法

In this paper, we propose a nested simple incomplete LU decomposition (NSILU) method for preconditioning iterative methods for solving largely scale and sparse ill-conditioned hnear systems. NSILU consists of some numerical techniques such as simple modification of Schur complement, compression of ill-condition structure by permutation, nested simple ILU, and inner-outer iteration. We give detailed error analysis of NSILU and estimations of condition number of the preconditioned coefficient matrix, together with numerical comparisons. We also show an analysis of inner accuracy strategies for the inner-outer iteration approach. Our new approach NSILU is very efficient for linear systems from a kind of two-dimensional nonlinear energy equations with three different temperature variables, where most of the calculations centered around solving large number of discretized and illconditioned linear systems in large scale. Many numerical experiments are given and compared in costs of flops, CPU times, and storages to show the efficiency and effectiveness of the NSILU preconditioning method. Numerical examples include middle-scale real matrices of size n = 3180 or n = 6360, a real apphcation of solving about 755418 linear systems of size n = 6360, and a simulation of order n=814080 with structures and properties similar as the real ones.     

钙钛矿CaTiO3的超高压结构研究

利用同步辐射x射线衍射和 DAC 高压技术在室温下测量了钙钛矿CaTiO₃在压力0—44.53 GPa下的结构变化.结果表明，随着压力的增加CaTiO₃的三个晶轴都受到不同程度的压缩，a,b的压缩率相近且相对比较大，c的压缩率最小，但没有证据表明有相变的发生.在压力范围内CaTiO₃的P-V关系用Murnaghan状态方程表示，设定K′0=4，得到V0=0.2245(6)nm3和K0=222(9) GPa.应用赝立方角γpc与压力的关系，初 关键词： 3')" href="#">CaTiO₃ 结构 超高压 状态方程
