The reaction of N‐(4‐(mesitylamino)pent‐3‐en‐2‐ylidene)‐2,4,6‐trimethylbenzenamine ( 1 ) with n‐butyl lithium and then with N‐(2,4,6‐trimethyl‐phenyl)‐acetimidoyl chloride yields a new β‐triketimine ligand, N‐(4‐(mesitylamino)‐3‐(1‐(mesitylimino)ethyl)pent‐3‐en‐2‐ylidene)‐2,4,6‐trimethylbenzenamine, 2 . The addition of 2 to nickel (II) dibromide 1,2‐dimethoxyethane (NiBr2(DME)) in the presence of [Na]+[3,5‐(CF3)4C6H3]4B]? (NaBAr'4) gives a five‐coordinate dimeric complex [( 2 .NiBr)2].2 [(BAr'4)], 3 . The structure of 3 has been determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. This complex generates catalytically active species for the homopolymerization of ethylene in combination with methylaluminoxane to produce elastomeric, branched polyethylene. The effect of factors (temperature, pressure, and cocatalyst to catalyst molar ratio (CC)) on the polymerization process has been investigated using regression models of responses (catalyst activity, crystallinity, and weight‐average molecular weight of polymer (Mw)) and visualized via the response surface method (RSM). Activity and Mw responses show a second‐order variation with temperature and vary linearly with pressure. Conversely, crystallinity follows a second‐order model while varying temperature, pressure, and CC. Furthermore, a set of polymerization conditions for reaching desirable responses was predicted and then experimentally verified. The activities achieved challenge the best reported activities for Ni(II) catalysts with β‐connected imine ligand supports, but fall short of those for α‐diimines. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, thiophene derivatives were synthesized in good yields via multicomponent reaction of isoquinoline, alkyl bromides, activated acetylenic compounds, isothiocyanates, and catalytic amounts of ZnO nanorods (NRs) at room temperature under solvent-free conditions. This procedure for the synthesis of thiophene derivatives is green, easy, and simple with excellent yield. In addition, DPPH radical scavenging and ferric reduction power experiment has been studied for the evaluation of the antioxidant activity of some prepared thiophenes, for example, 5b , 5d , 5e , and 5f . As outcome, the compound 5d exhibited a noteworthy radical trapping activity and excellent reducing ability than synthetic antioxidants such as butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) and 2-tertbutylhydroquinone (TBHQ). Moreover, the antimicrobial activity of some synthesized thiophenes was confirmed by employing the disk diffusion test on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The obtained results of disk diffusion test showed that compounds 5b , 5d , 5e , and 5f prevented bacterial growth.  相似文献

In this work, a combined discrete and continuous wavelet transform analysis was developed for simultaneous spectrophotometric determinations of metformin hydrochloride and glibenclamide, two antidiabetic drugs, in binary mixtures without any chemical pretreatment. Absorption spectra were subjected to the 4-level db4 discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for signal de-noising. Selected continuous wavelet transform (CWT) families (rbio3.1 with scaling factor, a = 80, and gaus2, a = 60) were applied on these de-noised signals. Finally, a zero-crossing technique was used for the construction of calibration curves for both drugs. The proposed method was validated by analyzing synthetic mixtures of the investigated drugs with various concentrations. The amount of metformin hydrochloride and glibenclamide were determined by using CWT amplitudes in zero-crossing points. The mean recovery values of metformin hydrochloride and glibenclamide were found between 98.6-102.0 and 97.9-102.4% for rbio3 and 98.3-101.2 and 97.1-101.4% for gaus2 families, respectively. The obtained results showed that the developed method is a simple, rapid and precise procedure for the simultaneous determination of metformin hydrochloride and glibenclamide in binary mixtures.  相似文献

Two groups of synthesized sulfonated poly(ether sulfone)s with similar structures but different size of repeat units were selected. Investigation of the properties of these copolymers with different sulfonation contents for application as fuel cell membrane was the main aim of this study. These groups of copolymers showed different thermal behavior, mechanical properties, dimensional and oxidative stability, ion exchange capacity, water uptake, and proton conductivity. Structure–property relation was surveyed, and the copolymers showed acceptable results for use as fuel cell membrane. The swelling ratio of the copolymers was in the range of 3.3–6.6%, and the proton conductivity of them was about 0.020–0.077 S/cm at 25°C. These data were comparable with Nafion 115 with 8.15% of swelling ratio and 0.085 S/cm of proton conductivity. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Vitamin B6–Pd(II) immobilized onto magnetic nanoparticles have been successfully prepared and applied for C–Xcross-coupling reactions with aryl halides in green deep eutectic solvents. The results prove that the Fe3O4@vitamin B6–Pd(II) magnetic nanoparticles show high catalyst activity and good stability. It was also revealed that this complex can be recycled up to five times without any significant loss in catalytic activity.  相似文献

In this research, a novel procedure for the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives in excellent yields was studied using catalyst-free multicomponent reaction of isoquinoline, activated acetylenic compounds, alkyl bromides, triphenylphosphine and hydrazine in water under ultrasonic irradiation at room temperature. The advantages of this procedure than to reported methods are short time of reaction, high yields of product, easy separation of product, clean mixture of reaction and green media for performing reaction. In addition, because of having pyrazole and isoquinoline core in the synthesized compounds, in this research, antioxidant activity of some synthesized compounds was investigated.  相似文献

Formation of C(sp2)–X bonds was carried out using a Fe3O4@SiO2‐copper(I) sucrose xanthate nanoparticle catalyst with the aid of the copper(I) xanthate moiety in the catalyst which was prepared from the reaction between sucrose and carbon disulfide through an alkaline medium via the traditional Zeise approach. Various techniques were employed for the characterization of these novel nanoparticles. Three sorts of heteroatoms, N, O and S, successfully underwent heteroatom arylation to produce secondary or tertiary amines, ethers and thioethers, respectively.  相似文献
