A series of new zinc porphyrins were synthesized, and their charge transport property was tuned by introducing various groups. Triarylamine was introduced to the porphyrin moiety at the meso-position as an electron donor, enhancing the charge carrier mobility. All the synthesized zinc porphyrins are thermally stable with a decomposition temperature over 178 °C. High frontier molecular orbitals levels of these compounds make them stable donor materials. SEM analysis of zinc porphyrins fabricated by spin-coating resulted in diversely self-assembled films. Field-effect transistors were fabricated using bottom-gate/top-contact architecture (BGTC) by solution-processable technique. The higher charge carrier mobility of 5.17 cm2/Vs with on/off of 106 was obtained for trifluoromethyl substituted compound due to better molecular packing. In addition, GIXRD analysis revealed zinc porphyrins films crystalline nature, which supports its better charge carrier mobility. The present investigation has validated that zinc porphyrin building blocks are an attractive candidate for p-channel OFET devices.  相似文献

The time scale for ordering of the polypeptide backbone relative to the side chains is a critical issue in protein folding. The interplay between ordering of the backbone and ordering of the side chains is particularly important for the formation of β-sheet structures, as the polypeptide chain searches for the native stabilizing cross-strand interactions. We have studied these issues in the N-terminal domain of protein L9 (NTL9), a model protein with mixed α/β structure. We have developed a general approach for introducing site-specific IR probes for the side chains (azide) and backbone ((13)C═(18)O) using recombinant protein expression. Temperature-jump time-resolved IR spectroscopy combined with site-specific labeling enables independent measurement of the respective backbone and side-chain dynamics with single residue resolution. We have found that side-chain ordering in a key region of the β-sheet structure occurs on a slower time scale than ordering of the backbone during the folding of NTL9, likely as a result of the transient formation of non-native side-chain interactions.  相似文献

Pristine- and chromium-substituted LiNiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by sol-gel method using nitrate precursor at 800?°C for 12?h. Physical properties of the synthesized product were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and energy dispersive analysis X-ray. XRD studies revealed a well-defined layer structure and a linear variation of lattice parameters with the addition of chromium and no impurities. Surface morphology and particle size of synthesized materials were changed with chromium addition using SEM and TEM analyses. Assembled lithium-ion cells were evaluated for charge/discharge studies at different rates, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectra. The initial discharge capacity of LiNiO2 cathode material was found to be 168?mA hg?1; however, discharge capacity increased in chromium substitution. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed that LiCr0.10Ni0.90O2 could enhance charge transfer resistance upon cycling. The substitution of Ni with chromium, LiCr0.10Ni0.90O2, had better cycle life, low irreversible capacity, and excellent electrochemical performance.  相似文献

Zinc-cobalt alloy electrodeposits offer enhanced corrosion protection to steel, compared to zinc deposits. A near neutral zinc-cobalt alloy sulfate bath was developed. In the absence of β-naphthol and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), only a light grey and non-uniform deposit was obtained. Addition of boric acid yielded a grey and uniform deposit. To obtain the grey uniform alloy deposit, the optimum bath composition was: 0.5 M ZnSO4, 0.5 M CoSO4, 40 g/L H3BO3, 0.865 g/L SLS and 0.345 g/L β-naphthol. The current efficiency for alloy deposition was 50% in the current density range 0.5–2.5 A/dm2. X-ray fluorescence studies on the alloy deposit formed on steel revealed 58–75% zinc on the surface. Anodic stripping voltammetric studies were carried out on zinc-cobalt alloy films formed on glassy carbon to identify the phases formed in the alloy. Zn-Co alloy film dissolution peaks suggested the existence of β, β1 and γ phases of the alloy. Electronic Publication  相似文献

Abstract

The 4,6-diaryl-6,7-dihydro-[1,2,3]selenadiazolo[5,4-c]pyridine-5(4H)-carbalde hydes were synthesized from 2,6-diarylpiperidin-4-ones and characterized using infrared, 1H, 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and mass spectroscopic techniques. On the NMR time scale, the compounds exist in syn and anti isomeric forms. Separate signals were obtained for isomers in the NMR spectra. The compounds’ stereodynamic nature was studied based on the intensity and position of NMR signals.

Polymers synthesized from naturally derived monomers are valuable since they decrease the reliance on petroleum based feed stocks. Cashew nut shell oil (CNSL) is a side-product from processing of edible Cashew nuts of Annacardium occidentale. One of the major components of CNSL is cardanol, which is a phenol derivative having an unsaturated pentadecyl substituent in the ‘meta’ position with varying amount of unsaturation (no double bonds to three double bonds). The substituent in the meta position can also be hydrogenated to yield completely saturated hydrogenated cardanol. Cardanol can be utilized to stabilize the dispersions of oil in water and vice versa since it displays amphiphilic behavior owing to the phenolic head and the C15 aliphatic tail. Here we report the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) catalyzed polymerization of cardanol at oil water interface to obtain polycardanol microcapsules. A synthetic analogue of hydrogenated cardanol, 3-pentadecylphenol (3PDP), was also oxidatively polymerized at the oil-water interface to obtain Poly(3-pentadecylphenol) microcapsules.  相似文献

Main‐chain thermotropic liquid‐crystalline polyesters containing rigid biphenyl mesogens and flexible spacers were synthesized by chemo‐enzymatic route. The enzyme‐catalyzed polymerization showed high regio‐ and chemo‐ selectivity, and is environmentally friendly. The resulting polyesters were characterized with 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and polarized light optical microscopy (POM).  相似文献

In this Letter we report a rapid and facile access to C2-substituted imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine analogues utilizing palladium mediated Buchwald–Hartwig cross-coupling reactions. The use of enolizable heterocycles as cross-coupling partners resulted in a wide range of imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine analogues which are prone to have medicinal relevance. Xantphos and Pd(OAc)2 were found to be more effective for the coupling of 2-halo imidazo[4,5-b]pyridines with pyridone nucleophiles. A regioselective approach for the synthesis of 2-substituted 3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine and 1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine is also reported.  相似文献
