Summary The alternative and simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of niobium and tantalum was examined by using the colour development between o-hydroxyhydroquinonephthalein (Qnph) and niobium or tantalum in the presence of hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride (HTAC) in strong acidic media. Beer's law was obeyed up to 10.0 g of niobium and up to 18.0 g of tantalum in a final volume of 10.0 ml. The apparent molar absorption coefficients for niobium and tantalum were 2.18×105 and 2.09×105 l mol–1 cm–1 with Sandell's sensitivities of 0.00042 g/cm2 niobium at 520 nm and 0.00085 g/cm2 tantalum at 510 nm, respectively. The alternative assay of niobium and tantalum was possible by using two methods: Method A — masking method with oxalic acid, Method B — acid adjusting-method using 50% sulfuric acid. Treatment of the different kinds of alkynyl-substituted dialkynyldiarylsilanes with zirconocene-ethylene complex Cp2Zr(CH2CH2) followed by acidification with 3 N HCl gave regio- and stereoselectively the corresponding silacyclobutenes in good yields. Copper ion-exchanged montmorillonite clays, which had been prepared by ion exchange in an aqueous solution of CuCl(2) at a temperature above 323 K, exhibited the characteristic IR band in the region 3360-3310 cm(-1). No such bands were observed for the samples prepared by using different ion-exchange solutions and at different temperatures. Nitrosylruthenium complexes containing 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine (terpy) have been synthesized and characterized. The three alkoxo complexes trans-(NO, OCH3), cis-(Cl, OCH3)-[RuCl(OCH3)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([2]PF6), trans-(NO, OC2H5), cis-(Cl, OC2H5)-[RuCl(OC2H5)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([3]PF6), and [RuCl(OC3H7)(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([4]PF6) were synthesized by reactions of trans-(Cl, Cl), cis-(NO, Cl)-[RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([1]PF6) with NaOCH3 in CH3OH, C2H5OH, and C3H7OH, respectively. Reactions of [3]PF6 with an acid such as hydrochloric acid and trifluoromethansulforic acid afford nitrosyl complexes in which the alkoxo ligand is substituted. The geometrical isomer of [1]PF6, trans-(NO, Cl), cis-(Cl, Cl)-[RuCl2(NO)(terpy)]PF6 ([5]PF6), was obtained by the reaction of [3]PF6 in a hydrochloric acid solution. Reaction of [3]PF6 with trifluoromethansulforic acid in CH3CN gave trans-(NO, Cl), cis-(CH3CN, Cl)-[RuCl(CH3CN)(NO)(terpy)]2+ ([6]2+) under refluxing conditions. Reaction of prochiral N-Boc-2-amino-2-alkyl-1,3-propanediols with Ac(2)O in the presence of 5 mol % of chiral sulfonamide-Zn complex catalyst afforded the corresponding chiral monoacetyl products in 70-92% yields with 70-88% ee values. Cytochrome (cyt) c transports electrons from Complex III to Complex IV in mitochondria. Cyt c is ordinarily anchored to the mitochondrial membrane through interaction with cardiolipin (CL), however its release into the cytosol initiates apoptosis. The cyt c interaction site with CL‐containing bicelles was characterized by NMR spectroscopy. Chemical shift perturbations in cyt c signals upon interaction with bicelles revealed that a relatively wide region, which includes the A‐site, the CXXCH motif, and the N‐ and C‐terminal helices, and contains multiple Lys residues, interacts cooperatively with CL. The specific cyt c–CL interaction increased with increasing CL molecules in the bicelles. The location of the cyt c interaction site for CL was similar to those for Complex III and Complex IV, thus indicating that cyt c recognizes lipids and partner proteins in a similar way. In addition to elucidating the cyt c membrane‐binding site, these results provide insight into the dynamic aspect of cyt c interactions in mitochondria. 相似文献

The enantioselective bromocyclization of allylic amides catalyzed by phosphorus‐containing Lewis bases was examined in detail. A series of control experiments and NMR studies showed that a partially oxidized bis‐phosphine generated in situ serves as the actual enantioselective catalyst. The reaction mechanism involves distinct roles of two Lewis basic sites, P and P=O, with P+Br serving as a fine‐tuning element for substrate fixation in the chiral environment, and P+OBr as the Br+ transfer agent to the olefin. Catalyst loading could be reduced to as little as 1 mol %, and the reaction affords enantioenriched oxazolines with up to >99.5 % ee. 相似文献
