Alkene content determinations in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) liquid products were performed by means of normal-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (NP-HPLC) with diode array detection (UV/DAD). Separation of alkenes from aromatic hydrocarbons was performed on amino-modified silica gel column with n-heptane as mobile phase. The column has a little affinity to alkenes and saturated hydrocarbons and a pronounced affinity to aromatic compounds. The problem of alkenes and saturates co-elution on this column type was overcome with the detection system, UV/DAD, sensitive and selective to alkenes, while saturates are inactive in UV field. Total alkene content was determined as a sum of mono- and dialkene groups quantified by external standard method. Validation and verification of the developed method proved their applicability. The following criteria were used to validate the HPLC–DAD method: selectivity, linearity, precision, limits of detection and quantification. Alkene contents were quantified with the external standard method of wide calibration range, so both low and high alkene contents can be determined by the single calibration. Correlation coefficients were higher than 0.99. Precision was evaluated as repeatability and intermediary precision with relative standard deviations less than 5%. Some structural investigation of alkene groups was performed to confirm the assumption. Proposed method was compared with certified NMR method. Six commercial motor gasoline samples were analyzed by these two methods. Obtained results indicate good agreement between alkene content determined by both methods. The developed method was applied to the determination of alkene content in liquid FCC products in the boiling range from 70 °C to 190 °C. 相似文献

The underutilized Amaranthus leafy vegetables are a unique basis of pigments such as β-cyanins, β-xanthins, and betalains with radical scavenging capacity (RSC). They have abundant phytonutrients and antioxidant components, such as pigments, vitamins, phenolics, and flavonoids. Eight selected genotypes (four genotypes from each species) of underutilized Amaranthus leafy vegetables were evaluated for phytonutrients, pigments, vitamins, phenolics, flavonoids, and antioxidants in a randomized complete block design under ambient field conditions with three replicates. The studied traits showed a wide range of variations across eight genotypes of two species of Amaranthus leafy vegetables. The highest fat, β-xanthins, K, dietary fiber, Mg, β-cyanins, Mn, chlorophyll ab, Zn, TP, TF, betalains, chlorophyll a content, and (RSC) (DPPH) and RSC (ABTS+) were obtained from A. tricolor accessions. Conversely, the highest protein, Cu, carbohydrates, Ca, and chlorophyll b content were obtained from A. lividus accessions. The highest dry matter, carotenoids, Fe, energy, and ash were obtained from A. tricolor and A. lividus. The accession AT2 confirmed the highest vit. C and RSC (DPPH) and RSC (ABTS+); AT5 had the highest TP content; and AT12 had the highest TF content. A. tricolor accessions had high phytochemicals across the two species, such as phytopigments, vitamins, phenolics, antioxidants, and flavonoids, with considerable nutrients and protein. Hence, A. tricolor accessions can be used as high-yielding cultivars comprising ample antioxidants. The correlation study revealed that vitamin C, pigments, flavonoids, β-carotene, and phenolics demonstrated a strong RSC, and showed a substantial contribution to the antioxidant potential (AP) of A. tricolor. The investigation exposed that the accessions displayed a plentiful origin of nutritional values, phytochemicals, and AP with good quenching ability of reactive oxygen species (ROS) that provide enormous prospects for nourishing the mineral-, antioxidant-, and vitamin-threatened community. 相似文献

The optical and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) properties of InP nanocrystals, in which metallic gold or indium is present as an incorporated part of the nanocrystals, have been studied. A study of Au/InP quantum rods supports different carrier localization regimes compared to metal-free quantum rods, including the charge-separated state for which the electron and hole are located in different parts of the heterostructure. They also show that elongated semiconductors that grow on metallic catalysts have electronic properties that are different from those of pure semiconductor nanocrystals of the same shape. We have also developed a simple method for growing melted indium particles on the surface of colloidal spherical InP nanocrystals, and in these In/InP nanocrystals the emission is completely quenched while the absorption spectrum moves to red due to the strong mixing of the semiconductor and metal electronic states. 相似文献

A simple, sensitive, and rapid Spectrophotometric method for the trace determination of aniline in aqueous solution is described. The method is based on coupling aniline with diazotizedp-nitroaniline in the presence of ethanol and sodium hydroxide to form an intense red water-soluble azo-dye which shows maximum absorption at 505 nm and greater stability and sensitivity in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide. Beer's law is obeyed over the aniline concentration range 0.2–2.4g/ml in the solution measured; the molar absorptivity is 3.46×104l· mole–1·cm–1, and the relative standard deviation 1–2%, depending on the aniline concentration. 相似文献

Die Bildung von6 wurde mit einemexo-Angriff erklärt, der stereoelektronisch wegen einer Wasserstoffbrückenbindung zwischen der Hydroxylgruppe der Pentose und einer Carbonylgruppe des N-Arylmaleimides bevorzugt wird.
