An analytic expression for the total energy of metallic clusters composed ofN identical atoms of valencev and with net chargeQ is obtained by means of a variational solution of the Thomas-Fermi-Weizsäcker energy density functional within the spherical jellium model. The minimum energy is given as an expansion in decreasing powers of the cluster radiusR=r s Z 1/3, withZ=vN andr s the radius per electron of the bulk metal. The coefficients are obtained as functions ofr s . Terms of volume (R 3), surface (R 2), curvature (R), constant (R 0), (1/R) and (1/R 2) are clearly separated in the formula, as well as the different contributions (kinetic, coulombic and exchange-correlation) to each of them. The asymptotic values (R→∞) for the work functions,W(r s ), and surface energies σ(r s ), are compared to analogous semiclassical and Kohn-Sham calculations of jellium-like surfaces and to the experimental values. The size dependent behaviour of chemical potentials, μ(R), electron affinities,AF(R), and ionization potentials,IP(R), are easily obtained for any kind of metallic clusters. Sn0.5Ti0.5O2催化剂对NO+CO反应活性不高, 350 ℃时NO的转化率只有50%,但反应气中含有SO2时, NO的转化率接近100%,说明SO2对Sn0.5Ti0.5O2催化剂上的NO+CO反应具有促进作用. XPS表征发现,SO2+CO、SO2+NO+CO反应后催化剂表面有微量硫存在,而反应前没有检测到硫的存在.结合反应性能测定、瞬变应答实验、XRD、TPD研究等,发现催化剂上的表面硫参与了NO的催化还原反应,是NO+CO反应更重要的活性中心.据此,提出了SO2+NO+CO反应的氧化还原反应机理. 相似文献

Electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction holds great promise for reducing the atmospheric CO2 level and alleviating the energy crisis. High‐performance electrocatalysts are often required in order to lower the high overpotential and expedite the sluggish reaction kinetics of CO2 electroreduction. Copper is a promising candidate metal. However, it usually suffers from the issues of poor stability and low product selectivity. In this work, bimetallic Cu‐Bi is obtained by reducing the microspherical copper bismuthate (CuBi2O4) for selectively catalyzing the CO2 reduction to formate (HCOO–). The bimetallic Cu‐Bi electrocatalyst exhibits high activity and selectivity with the Faradic efficiency over 90% in a wide potential window. A maximum Faradaic efficiency of ~95% is obtained at –0.93 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode. Furthermore, the catalyst shows high stability over 6 h with Faradaic efficiency of ~95%. This study provides an important clue in designing new functional materials for CO2 electroreduction with high activity and selectivity. 相似文献

The photodynamic effect of a photoproduct of protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) induced by 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) was investigated in WiDr cells, a human adenocarcinoma cell line. The fluorescence excitation and emission spectra of PpIX and the photoproduct were measured. After 1, 3 or 5 min exposure of the ALA-incubated cells to 140 mW/cm2 light at 635 nm, the photoproduct — the chlorin photoprotoporphyrin (Ppp), had an emission band around 670 nm. The Ppp excitation peak at 670 nm is well separated from the PpIX peak at 635 nm. The outcome of photodynamic therapy (PDT) was determined by measuring intracellular fluorescence intensity of propidium iodide (PI) 2 h following PDT and methylene blue (MB) staining 24 h following PDT. A significant increase in the fluorescence intensity of PI was noted when the ALA-loaded cells were exposed to 670 nm light after exposure to 635 nm, indicating enhanced cell membrane inactivation induced by the photodynamic action of the photoproduct. However, the fraction of the cells that survived following the same treatment as measured by MB staining was not significantly affected based on an analysis of variance. The fluorescence of PpIX decayed significantly during 635 nm light exposure. Exposure to light at 670 nm does not lead to any photodegradation of PpIX. The fluorescence of Ppp was bleached during 670 nm light exposure. Exposure of Ppp at 670 nm gives no PpIX back. Thus, the phototransformation of PpIX to Ppp is probably not a reversible process. 相似文献

A simple and rapid preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been developed to isolate and characterize some minor impurities of astaxanthin using a normal-phase Lichrosorb silica column with n-hexane-acetone-tetrahydrofuran (90:2:8, v/v/v) as mobile-phase and detection at 475 nm. The isolated impurities were characterized as astacene, dehydro astacene and apoastaxanthinal by UV-vis, ESI-MS, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and the molecular structures were assigned.
