4‐(4,6‐Diaminopyrimidin‐2‐ylthio) phthalocyaninatocobalt(II) (CoPyPc) was iodine doped, and its electrocatalytic properties explored. Physical characterization techniques such as UV‐vis, X‐ray photoelectron, electron paramagnetic resonance and infra‐red spectroscopy were used. Cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and rotating disk electrode were used for electrochemical characterization of electrodes modified with the prepared phthalocyanine and its nanocomposites. The electrocatalytic effect of a new iodine‐doped cobalt phthalocyanine derivative supported on multiwalled carbon nanotubes was then investigated towards oxygen reduction reaction. The electrocatalytic activity of the iodine‐doped cobalt phthalocyanine was found to be superior in terms of current over the undoped phthalocyanine nanocomposite.  相似文献

Electrochemical properties of novel, peripherally substituted zinc phthalocyanine complex, octa(4-methylphenylthio-) phthalocyaninatozinc(II) [ZnPc(SC6H4CH3)8] (1a) in DMF solution are presented. This complex showed five quasi-reversible/reversible, diffusion-controlled redox couples. Solution voltammetry of 1a showed little contrast with that of its alkythiol-derivative, octabutylthiophthalocyaninatozinc(II) [ZnPc(SC4H9)8] (1b) in that both thiol-substituents tend to show electron-withdrawing influence on the phthalocyanine ligands; complex 1a showing easier reduction and more difficult to oxidation when compared to 1b and other alkyl derivatives. The voltammetric features of the solid ultrathin films of 1a and 1b, immobilized on gold electrodes via the self-assembling technique, are also presented. Interestingly, the self-assembled films are stable and reproducible and provide good suppression to the following Faradaic processes; gold surface oxidation, solution ion species and underpotential deposition (UPD) of copper.  相似文献

An optimal extraction method for the removal of templates from molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) is presented. The extraction method is based on pressurized hot water extraction (PHWE). PHWE was evaluated by application to three distinctly colored MIPs for chlorophyll (green), quercetin (yellow) and phthalocynine (dark blue) with subsequent monitoring of template removal and template bleeding by an ultraviolet spectrophotometer. The templates were washed-off and the extraction efficiency (EE) was compared to that of soxhlet and ultrasonic extraction methods. PHWE employed hot water at an optimal temperature of 220 °C, pressure of 50 bars and flow rate of 2 mL min?1 to thoroughly wash-off the respective templates from their MIPs. The EE evaluated for PHWE was over 99.6% for all the MIPs with no subsequent or minimal template bleeding (<0.01%). The washing procedure was simple and relatively fast as it was achieved in 70 min at the most. At 95% confidence level (n = 3), soxhlet and ultrasonic recorded EE that was not significantly different (<94.5% in all cases) from that of PHWE (>99.6% in all cases). Soxhlet and ultrasonic had washing procedures that were slower (over 18 h) and employed large quantities (400 mL) of organic solvents modified with acids. The percentage relative standard deviations (%RSD) for the EE and recovery results were less than 2.3% in all cases indicating the high reproducibility of the method. Overall, the three methods performed comparably in extracting templates. PHWE seems to be the method of choice as it employed water which poses no environmental threat.  相似文献

Peripherally and non-peripherally 2-diethylaminoethanethiol tetra-substituted zinc phthalocyanine (5a and 6a) and their quaternized derivatives (5b and 6b) have been synthesized and characterized. The quaternized derivatives (5b and 6b) show excellent solubility in aqueous medium. The photophysical and photochemical properties of the 2-diethylaminoethanethiol appended zinc phthalocyanine in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) for the non-ionic (5a and 6a) and in both DMSO and aqueous medium (phosphate buffered saline solution PBS, pH 7.4) (in the presence and absence of cremophore EL (CEL)) for the quaternized (5b and 6b) derivatives were studied and compared with that of the peripherally octa-substituted derivatives (7a and 7b). The complexes have intense absorption in the visible/near-IR region though the quaternized forms (5b, 6b and 7b) were slightly blue shifted and highly aggregate in aqueous solution. The triplet state quantum yields (ΦTΦT) and the triplet lifetimes (τTτT) were found to be higher in DMSO (ΦTΦT values ranged from 0.57 to 0.75 while τTτT values ranged from 190 to 220 μs in DMSO for all complexes) compared to aqueous medium (ΦTΦT values ranged from 0.15 to 0.17 while τTτT values ranged from 20 to 70 μs in pH 7.4 buffer). Addition of cremophore EL in aqueous solution resulted in induced disaggregation leading to increased ΦTΦT and τTτT.  相似文献

The self-assembly of oppositely charged phthalocyanines, fabricated using quaternized 2,(3)-tetra(oxo-pyridine) phthalocyaninato chloroindium (III) (QInPyPc) as the positively charge molecule and a series of tetrasulfonate phthalocyanine (MTSPc), M = 2H, Mn, Fe, Co and Ni as negatively charged molecules are reported. The self-assembly results in the formation of heteroaggregates. The metallated sulfonated phthalocyanines form nanorod and nanoleaf shaped structures as evidenced by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The UV–Vis spectra showed blue shifted Q bands, suggesting that these structures were in a face-to-face arrangement. The Raman spectra of the heteroaggregates showed shifting compared to the spectra of the precursors.  相似文献

A novel alternative route to access rhenium(V)−phthalocyanine complexes through direct metalation of metal-free phthalocyanines (H2Pcs) with a rhenium(VII) salt in the presence of various two-electron reducing agents is presented. Direct ion metalation of tetraamino- or tetranitrophthalocyanine with perrhenate (ReO4) in the presence of triphenylphosphine led to oxidative decomposition of the H2Pcs, giving their respective phthalonitriles. Conversely, treatment of H2Pcs with ReO4 employing sodium metabisulfite yielded the desired ReVO−Pc complex. Finally, reaction of H2Pcs with ReO4 and NaBH4 as reducing agent led to the formation of rhenium oxide (RexOy) nanoparticles (NPs). The NP synthesis was optimised, and the RexOy NPs were capped with folic acid (FA) conjugated with tetraaminophthalocyanine (TAPc) to enhance their cancer cell targeting ability. The cytotoxicity profile of the resultant RexOy−TAPc−FA NPs was assessed and found to be greater than 80 % viability in four cell lines, namely, MDA−MB-231, HCC7, HCC1806 and HEK293T. Non-cytotoxic concentrations were determined and employed in cancer cell localization studies. The particle size effect on localization of NPs was also investigated using confocal fluorescence and transmission electron microscopy. The smaller NPs (≈10 nm) were found to exhibit stronger fluorescence properties than the ≈50 nm NPs and exhibited better cell localization ability than the ≈50 nm NPs.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of a novel BODIPY dye functionalized with bis‐boronic acid groups to enable direct glucose sensing through selective recognition of carbohydrates is reported. Styrylation with boronic acid groups at the 3,5‐positions of the BODIPY core results in an extension of the π‐conjugation system of the dye and in a red‐shift of the main absorption band from 500 to 637 nm. The functionalized BODIPY dye was adsorbed on a glassy carbon electrode using the drop and dry method. Modified and bare electrodes were characterized using cyclic voltammetry and scanning electrochemical microscopy, while glucose detection was carried out by using differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The detection limit was determined to be 1.42 μM. The dye was found to be selective and sensitive towards glucose, since likely interferences have only minor effects on the glucose detection.  相似文献

The solvent viscosity dependence of the photophysical and photochemical properties of tetra(tert-butylphenoxy)phthalocyaninato zinc(II) (ZnTBPPc) is presented. The fluorescence quantum yields (ΦF) and Stern-Volmer′s constant (KSV) for ZnTBPPc fluorescence quenching by benzoquinone in all the solutions followed a semi-empirical law that depends only on the solvent viscosity. The purpose of this review is to compile preclinical and clinical results on phthalocyanines (Pcs) as photosensitizers (PS) for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) and contrast agents for fluorescence imaging. Indeed, Pcs are excellent candidates in these fields due to their strong absorbance in the NIR region and high chemical and photo-stability. In particular, this is mostly relevant for their in vivo activation in deeper tissular regions. However, most Pcs present two major limitations, i.e., a strong tendency to aggregate and a low water-solubility. In order to overcome these issues, both chemical tuning and pharmaceutical formulation combined with tumor targeting strategies were applied. These aspects will be developed in this review for the most extensively studied Pcs during the last 25 years, i.e., aluminium-, zinc- and silicon-based Pcs.  相似文献
