Reaction of Nitrogen(I) Oxide with Nitrogen-fixing Systems on the Basis of Lithium,Chlorotrimethylsilane, and Transition Metal Compounds

Reaction of nitrogen(I) oxide with nitrogen-fixing systems Li/Me₃SiCl/MCl _n (MCl _4n = CrCl₃, CoCl₂, Cp₂TiCl₂, FeCl₃, CuCl₂). In these systems nitrogen(I) oxide, molecular nitrogen, and air nitrogen undergo reductive silylation to tris(trimethylsilyl)amine. The efficiency of the process was estimated by the molar ratio of the tris(trimethylsilyl)amine formed to metal chloride MCl _n n. The reaction of N₂O with the nitrogen-fixing systems including CoCl₂ and Cp₂TiCl₂ is not exhausted by the reduction of the former to molecular nitrogen and its subsequent fixation by transition metal complexes.     

Adducts of Bromo- and Dibromocarbenes with Dicyclo[6.1.0]non-2-ene and Tricyclo[8.1.0.01,9.04,6]deca-2,6-diene in Reaction with Potassium tert-Butylate

Adducts of bromo- and dibromocarbenes with bicyclo[6.1.0]non-2-ene and tricyclo-[8.1.0.0^{1 , 9}.0^{4 , 6}]deca-2,6-diene were studied in reaction with potassium tert-butylate in DMSO. The main process was formation of polycyclic cyclopropenes.     

Synthesis of adamantane and bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivatives with the oxetane moiety

A method of synthesis of 3-hydroxyoxetane esters with adamantane- and bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-containing carboxylic acids is reported.     

Calculation of the stability of β-cyclodextrin complexes of organic compounds using the QSPR approach

The QSPR model for predicting the Gibbs free energy of formation of complexes of different organic compounds with β-cyclodextrin has been constructed by the multiple linear regression method with the use of the double cross-validation procedure. The model has good predictive power.     

Reaction of Nitrous Oxide with Cyclopentadienyl Complexes of Cobalt,Rhodium, and Titanium

The reaction of nitrous oxide with some cyclopentadienyl compounds of cobalt, rhodium, and titanium was studied. The corresponding furans were obtained in low to moderate yields.     

Synthesis of 4,5-dihydroxyphthalonitrile

4,5-Dihydroxyphthalonitrile was synthesized from pyrocatechol in a simple way. The compound obtained is a convenient starting reagent for the preparation of 4,5-dialkoxyphthalonitriles.

A convenient method for the preparation of functionalized β-nitroalkenes based on the nitration of α,α-di- and α,α,β-trisubstituted unsaturated aldehydes, ketones and esters with tetranitromethane in the presence of triethylamine is described. Series of substituted β-nitroalcohols and β-nitroalkenes are obtained in good yields under mild conditions.
