The time evolution of the static structure factor following a sudden temperature jump ΔT is investigated in the case of a symmetric mixture of two polymers and a solvent in the optical theta conditions. Novel fluorinated coating containing well‐dispersed silicate nanolayers is successfully produced via in‐situ free radical polymerization of 2,2,2‐trifluoroethyl methacrylate in the presence of vinylbenzyl‐functionalized montmorillonite with different loading. The organic modification of sodium montmorillonite is achieved through an ion exchange reaction with triphenylvinylbenzylphosphonium chloride as surfactant prepared before use by reaction with vinylbenyl chloride and phosphine. The following in‐situ polymerization in the presence of organomodified clay leads to fluorinated nanocomposites with of partially exfoliated and intercalated morphologies, as determined via XRD and TEM analysis. The nanoscale dispersion of clay layers is also evidenced by thermal analysis; a moderate decrease of the glass transition temperature about 2–8 °C compared to their virgin PMATRIF and an improvement of their thermal stability as evidenced by TGA. The wettability of the nanocomposite films is also studied by contact angle measurements with water. The incorporation of organomodified clays not only increases the hydrophobicity of the fluorinated polymers but also improves the surface properties of obtained nanocomposites. Compared the virgin homopolymer, the mechanical properties of the nanocomposites are reduced by addition of organomodifed clay at temperature from 30 to 60 °C, whereas this trend is gradually decreased at higher temperature. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Structural properties and phase behavior of crosslinked networks embedded in polymer solutions are theoretically investigated. The partial structure factor of the network is calculated using a matrix formulation of the random phase approximation and the forward scattering limit is correlated with the phase behavior. Swelling and deswelling processes are analyzed in terms of the polymer concentration, the mismatch of solvent quality with respect to polymer and network, the polymers incompatibility and their characteristic sizes. Most studies reported so far in the literature have focussed on the swelling of crosslinked networks and gels in pure solvents but the correlation of the structural properties with the phase behavior in the presence of high molecular weight polymers in solution has not been given sufficient attention. This research reconstructed and validated the broadband UVA irradiances derived from discrete spectral irradiance data retrieved from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) satellite from 1 January to 31 December 2009. OMI data at solar noon were compared to ground‐based spectral irradiances at Toowoomba (27°36′ S 151°55′ E), Australia, at 310, 324 and 380 nm for both cloud‐free and all sky conditions. There was a strong relationship between the ground‐based UV spectroradiometer data and satellite‐based measurements with an R2 of 0.89 or better in each waveband for cloud‐free days. The data show an overestimate of the satellite‐derived spectral irradiances compared to the ground‐based data. The models developed for the subtropical site data account for this overestimation and are essential for any data correlation between satellite‐ and ground‐based measurements. Additionally, this research has compared solar noon broadband UVA irradiances evaluated with a model and the discrete satellite spectral irradiances for the solar noon values of cloud‐free days to those measured with a ground‐based UVA radiometer. An R2 of 0.86 was obtained confirming that for cloud‐free days the broadband UVA can be evaluated from the OMI satellite spectral irradiances. 相似文献
