Fractional exclusion statistics (FES) is a generalization of the Bose and Fermi statistics. Typically, systems of interacting particles are described as ideal FES systems and the properties of the FES systems are calculated from the properties of the interacting systems. In this Letter I reverse the process and I show that a FES system may be described in general as a gas of quasiparticles which obey Bose or Fermi distributions; the energies of the newly defined quasiparticles are calculated starting from the FES equations for the equilibrium particle distribution. In the end I use a system in the effective mass approximation as an example to show how the procedure works.  相似文献

The formation of PM10 (particles less than or equal to 10 μm in aerodynamic diameter) during char combustion in both air-firing and oxy-firing was investigated. Three Chinese coals of different ranks (i.e., DT bituminous coal, CF lignite, and YQ anthracite) were devolatilized at 1300 °C in N2 and CO2 atmosphere, respectively, in a drop tube furnace (DTF). The resulting N2-chars and CO2-chars were burned at 1300 °C in both air-firing (O2/N2 = 21/79) and oxy-firing (O2/CO2 = 21/79). The effects of char properties and combustion conditions on PM10 formation during char combustion were studied. It was found that the formation modes and particle size distribution of PM10 from char combustion whether in air-firing or in oxy-firing were similar to those from pulverized coal combustion. The significant amounts of PM0.5 (particles less than or equal to 0.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter) generated from combustion of various chars suggested that the mineral matter left in the chars after coal devolatilization still had great contributions to the formation of ultrafine particles even during the char combustion stage. The concentration of PM10 from char combustion in oxy-firing was generally less than that in air-firing. The properties of the CO2-chars were different from those of the N2-chars, which was likely due to gasification reactions coal particles experienced during devolatilization in CO2 atmosphere. Regardless of the combustion modes, PM10 formation in combustion of N2-char and CO2-char from the same coal was found to be significantly dependent on char properties. The difference in the PM10 formation behavior between the N2-char and CO2-char was coal-type dependent.  相似文献

Parallel Simulated Annealing Algorithms in Global Optimization   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Global optimization involves the difficult task of the identification of global extremities of mathematical functions. Such problems are often encountered in practice in various fields, e.g., molecular biology, physics, industrial chemistry. In this work, we develop five different parallel Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithms and compare them on an extensive test bed used previously for the assessment of various solution approaches in global optimization. The parallel SA algorithms consist of various categories: the asynchronous approach where no information is exchanged among parallel runs and the synchronous approaches where solutions are exchanged using genetic operators, or where solutions are transmitted only occasionally, or where highly coupled synchronization is achieved at every iteration. One of these approaches, which occasionally applies partial information exchanges (controlled in terms of solution quality), provides particularly notable results for functions with vast search spaces of up to 400 dimensions. Previous attempts with other approaches, such as sequential SA, adaptive partitioning algorithms and clustering algorithms, to identify the global optima of these functions have failed without exception.  相似文献

In this article a particular solution of Heun equation is derived by making use of the Nikiforov‐Uvarov (NU) method which provides exact solutions for general hypergeometric equation and eigenvalues together with eigenfunctions of the Heun equation for this particular solution are obtained. One to one correspondence (isomorphism) of the aforesaid equation with the radial Schrödinger equation is emphasized and also physical counterparts of the parameters in this equation are put forward by introducing solutions for two different potential functions (Hulthen and Woods‐Saxon potentials).

The investigation of the residual effect of nitrogen (N) released from tobacco-waste (TW) using isotope techniques will provide valuable data for sustainable organic farming. For this aim, a pot experiment was conducted using the 15N isotope technique. The experiment was based on a completely randomised design with four replications and was conducted on a calcareous ustochrepts soil. TW at levels of 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 t ha?1 and N fertiliser as (NH4)2SO4 at levels of 0, 20, 40, 60 and 80 kg N ha?1 were used for the Bezostaja-1 wheat variety. Concerning mineral N fertilisation with 20 and 80 kg N ha?1, additional treatments with 15N-labelled (NH4)2SO2 (10 at.% exc.) have been applied. Following harvesting wheat plants, the Pioneer 3377 maize variety was used to see the residual effect of TW. After harvesting, dry matter yields were recorded and total N concentrations were determined. 15N determinations and calculations were also made for 15N treatments separately. TW had a significant residual effect on the growth of corn plant under the pot condition. Increasing rates of TW significantly increased the dry matter yield of corn plant following wheat from 3.31 t ha?1 (at control) to 7.89 t ha?1 (at the TW treatment of 40 t ha?1). The 15N values derived from the 15N fertiliser decreased with increasing TW application. The average values of N derived from N fertiliser (Ndff) varied from 2.14 to 3.09% at the rates of 20 and 80 kg N ha?1, respectively. However, N derived from TW (Ndftw) significantly increased from 16.93 to 24.59% (at 20 kg N ha?1), and it also increased from 23.06 to 28.15% (at 80 kg N ha?1) with increasing TW applications from 20 to 40 t ha?1, respectively.  相似文献

In view of CdS growth is very impotent for technological importance especially solar applications; synthesis of this material remains a topic of great interest for researchers by means of an economically and technically viable method. In the present paper, Cd/CdS/n–Si/Au–Sb sandwich structure has been grown by Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) technique. For investigating the structural properties, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) measurements have been performed and it has been seen that films exhibit polycrystalline behavior. The capacitance–voltage (CV) and conductance/w-voltage (G/wV) characteristics of Cd/CdS/n–Si/Au–Sb structure have been investigated by considering series resistance and interface states effects. These measurements have been done in the −4 V, 4 V voltage range and in the frequency range of 10 kHz–3 MHz at room temperature. It is seen that, the series resistance (Rs) and interface state density have been strongly depend on frequency. The barrier height, donor concentration, diffusion potential parameters have been determined from the linear C−2V plot. The barrier height values are obtained between 0.495 and 0.796 eV and doping density values have been ranged from 1.455 × 1014 to 1.999 × 1014 cm−3respectively. The capacitance–frequency (Cf) and conductance/w-frequency (G/wf) characteristics of Cd/CdS/n–Si/Au–Sb structures have been measured at the various biases 0.00–0.14 V at room temperature. The energy distribution of the interface states (Nss) and their relaxation time (τ) have been determined from the forward bias capacitance–frequency characteristics. The Nss and τ values have ranged from 2.01 × 1012 cm−2 eV−1and 9.68 × 10−4 s in (Ec-0.45) eV–2.86 × 1013 cm−2 eV−1 and 3.81 × 10−4 s in (Ec-0.75) eV, respectively.  相似文献

We consider the Gauss-Kronrod quadrature formulae for the Bernstein-Szeg? weight functions consisting of any one of the four Chebyshev weights divided by the polynomial \(\rho (t)=1-\frac {4\gamma }{(1+\gamma )^{2}}\,t^{2},\quad t\in (-1,1),\ -1<\gamma \le 0\). For analytic functions, the remainder term of this quadrature formula can be represented as a contour integral with a complex kernel. We study the kernel, on elliptic contours with foci at the points ? 1 and sum of semi-axes ρ > 1, for the given quadrature formula. Starting from the explicit expression of the kernel, we determine the locations on the ellipses where maximum modulus of the kernel is attained. So we derive effective error bounds for this quadrature formula. An alternative approach, which has initiated this research, has been proposed by S. Notaris (Numer. Math. 103, 99–127, 2006).  相似文献
