In this paper, we study traveling salesperson (TSP) and bottleneck traveling salesperson (BTSP) problems on special graphs called Halin graphs. Although both problems are NP-Hard on general graphs, they are polynomially solvable on Halin graphs. We address the multiobjective versions of these problems. We show computational complexities of finding a single nondominated point as well as finding all nondominated points for different objective function combinations. We develop algorithms for the polynomially solvable combinations.  相似文献

Effects of heavy metals and oxalate on the zeta potential of magnetite   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Zeta potential is a function of surface coverage by charged species at a given pH, and it is theoretically determined by the activity of the species in solution. The zeta potentials of particles occurring in soils, such as clay and iron oxide minerals, directly affect the efficiency of the electrokinetic soil remediation. In this study, zeta potential of natural magnetite was studied by conducting electrophoretic mobility measurements in single and binary solution systems. It was shown that adsorption of charged species of Co(2+), Ni(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Pb(2+), and Cd(2+) and precipitation of their hydroxides at the mineral surface are dominant processes in the charging of the surface in high alkaline suspensions. Taking Pb(2+) as an example, three different mechanisms were proposed for its effect on the surface charge: if pH<5, competitive adsorption with H(3)O(+); if 56, precipitation of heavy metal hydroxides prevails. Oxalate anion changed the associated surface charge by neutralizing surface positive charges by complexing with iron at the surface, and ultimately reversed the surface to a negative zeta potential. Therefore the adsorption ability of heavy metal ions ultimately changed in the presence of oxalate ion. The changes in the zeta potentials of the magnetite suspensions with solution pH before and after adsorption were utilized to estimate the adsorption ability of heavy metal ions. The mechanisms for heavy metals and oxalate adsorption on magnetite were discussed in the view of the experimental results and published data.  相似文献

Strong collisions of highly vibrationally excited picoline isomers and CO2 (00(0)0) were investigated using high resolution transient IR absorption probing to investigate the role of donor state density. Vibrationally excited 3-picoline and 4-picoline (3-methylpyridine and 4 methylpyridine) with E(vib) = 38300 cm(-1) were prepared by 266 nm excitation followed by rapid internal conversion. Transient IR probe measurements of the nascent rotational and translational energy gain in CO2 (00(0)0) show that large DeltaE collisions for 3- and 4-picoline are similar to those for excited 2-picoline. The probability distributions for the large DeltaE energy transfer of the three isomers have similar dependence on DeltaE. The results are compared with other earlier results demonstrating that the shape of the large DeltaE probability distribution correlates with the DeltaE dependence of the donor vibrational state density. The results are discussed in terms of the GRETCHEN model for collisional relaxation.  相似文献

This review article investigates the hot topics by presenting the latest advances on graphene-based nanostructures for supercapacitors. In literature, many scientists have studied the nanomaterials and combination of conducting polymers in supercapacitor (SC) devices. The main aim of this review article is to present the higher capacitance, and higher power and energy density performances of the SC devices, which includes the active materials of carbon-based materials, metal oxides, conducting polymers, nanocomposites, etc. Many conventional techniques have already been used such as photolithography, inkjet printing, etc. Each of these methods has specific advantages and some drawbacks, with some working better in different environments. Among various nanoscaled materials, nanocrystal oxides of transition metals play an important role in advanced materials development. In addition to design of active material, symmetric and asymmetric supercapacitor device fabrication is also directly effect to obtain a higher capacitance, energy and power density performances. Therefore, this review article focuses on supercapacitor technology in new developments, such as design of active materials, device fabrication, etc.  相似文献

Our purpose was to investigate, by magnetic resonance (MR) spectroscopy, the metabolite changes in the brains of subjects in the shoemaking industry who had been chronically exposed to organic solvents. A total of 49 male subjects and 30 age-matched healthy volunteers underwent detailed neurological and psychiatric examinations. All subjects had long-echo [repetition time (TR) 2000 ms, echo time (TE) 136 ms] single-voxel MR spectroscopy. Voxels (15 x 15 x 15 mm(3)) were placed in the parietal white matter, thalamus, and basal ganglia. N-acetylaspartate (NAA)/creatine (Cr) and choline (Cho)/Cr ratios were calculated. There was no significant difference between the study subjects and the control group in NAA/Cr ratios obtained from thalamus, basal ganglia, and parietal white matter. Cho/Cr ratios in thalamus, basal ganglia, and parietal white matter were found to be significantly increased compared to controls. There was a positive correlation between basal ganglia Cho/Cr ratio and duration of exposure (r = 0.63). MR spectroscopy should be performed to reveal metabolite changes and determine the degree of brain involvement in solvent-related industry workers.  相似文献

Hydrotalcite (HT) materials have been known to be able to adsorb \(\hbox {CO}_{2}\) even at high temperature. However, HT has not been made into a micro-porous membrane because of its meso-porous nature. In order to form a micro-porous HT membrane, silica was selected as a host matrix due to its ability to retain its micro-porosity. In this paper, a micro-porous hydrotalcite–silica membrane was formed on a meso-porous \(\upgamma \) -alumina layer supported by a macro-porous \(\upalpha \) -alumina substrate. Most of the micro-porosity determined from nitrogen adsorption measurement was found to be either closed or open but not interconnected, whereas most of the meso-porosity (at ca. 11.2 nm) in the micro-porous membrane was open and interconnected, thereby promoting gas flow. Viscous flow mechanism was observed to dominate transport of gases in macro-porous membrane. Knudsen diffusion dominated transport of gases in meso-porous membrane. On the other hand, surface affinity influenced the transport of carbon dioxide through the micro-porous membrane rather significantly. While permeability of pure hydrogen and carbon dioxide were independent of pressure, the permeability of the gases in the binary mixtures decreased with increasing pressure. In this study, a new nonlinear and full adaptive backstepping speed tracking control scheme is developed for an uncertain permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Except for the number of pole pairs, all the other parameters in both PMSM and load dynamics are assumed unknown. Three phase currents and rotor speed are supposed to be measurable and available for feedback in the controller design. By designing virtual control inputs and choosing appropriate Lyapunov functions, the final control and parameter estimation laws are derived. The overall control system possesses global asymptotic stability; all the signals in the closed loop system remain bounded, according to stability analysis results based on Lyapunov stability theory. Further, the proposed controller does not require computation of regression matrices, with the result that take the nonlinearities in quite general. Simulation results clearly exhibit that the controller guarantees tracking of a time varying desired reference speed trajectory under all the uncertainties in both PMSM and load dynamics without singularity and overparameterization. The results also show that all the parameter estimates converge to their true values on account of the fact that reference speed signal chosen to be sufficiently rich ensures persistency of excitation condition. Consequently, the proposed controller ensures strong robustness against all the parameter uncertainties and unknown bounded load torque disturbance in the PMSM drive system. Numerical simulations demonstrate the performance and feasibility of the proposed controller.  相似文献

Supermacroporous poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) [poly(HEMA)] monolithic cryogel was prepared by radical cryocopolymerization of HEMA with N,N??-methylene bisacrylamide as crosslinker. Reactive Green 5 dye was immobilized to the cryogel with nucleophilic substitution reaction, and this dye attached cryogel column was used for affinity purification of papain from Carica papaya latex. Reactive Green 5-immobilized poly(HEMA) cryogel was characterized by swelling studies, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. Maximum papain adsorption capacity was found to be 68.5?mg/g polymer while nonspecific papain adsorption onto plain cryogel was negligible (3.07?mg/g polymer). Papain from C. papaya was purified 42-fold in single step with dye attached cryogel, and purity of papain was shown by silver-stained sodium dodecyl sulfate?Cpolyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.  相似文献

Molecular Dynamics simulations of heat conduction in liquid Argon confined in Silver nano-channels are performed subject to three different thermal conditions. Particularly, different surface temperatures are imposed on Silver domains using a thermostat in all and limited number of solid layers, resulting in heat flux in the liquid domain. Alternatively, energy is injected and extracted from solid layers to create a NVE liquid Argon system, which corresponds to heat flux specification. Imposition of a constant temperature region in the solid domain results in an unphysical temperature jump, indicating the presence of an artificial thermal resistance induced by the thermostat. Thermal resistance analyses for the components of each case are performed to distinguish the artificial and interface thermal resistance effects. Constant wall temperature simulations are shown to exhibit superposition of the artificial and interface thermal resistance values at the liquid/solid interface, while applying thermostat on wall layers sufficiently away from the liquid/solid interface results in consistent predictions of the interface thermal resistance. Injecting and extracting energy from each solid layer eliminates the artificial resistance. However, the method cannot directly specify a desired temperature difference between the two solid domains.  相似文献
