In this study, 10 different substituted aromatic bis‐benzaldehydes were synthesized by treating hydroxy benzaldehydes with various dihaloalkanes. Bis aldehydes 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j were treated with 2‐(5‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazole‐1‐yl)acetohydrazide ( 3 ) in acidic medium and in the presence of ammonium acetate to yield a series of new isomeric bis(2‐(5‐((5‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazol‐1‐yl)methyl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl)phenoxy)alkanes ( 6a , 6b , 6c , 6d , 6e , 6f , 6g , 6h , 6i , 6j ) in excellent to good yield. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by the available spectroscopic analysis.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reaction between vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) and ferric chloride hexahydrate was investigated in acidic medium at pH 3 spectrophotometrically. The order of the reaction was established by applying different methods, such as initial rate method, integration method and half-life method. The results obtained from each method were correlated with each other and consistency in all methods was observed. The order of the reaction with respect to each reactant was found first and the overall second order was recommended for the reaction.  相似文献

Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate (PDTC) chelates of Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(III), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), and VO(II) were analysed by capillary GC on a DB-1701 column (30 m x 0.25 mm id) with flame ionisation detection (FID). Linear calibrations were attained within "1-30 microg/mL" for Ni(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), Cu(II), and VO(II), and within "2-50 microg/mL" for Co(III) and Zn(II). The limits of detection were in the "150-500 ng/mL" range, corresponding to 15-50 pg amounts reaching the FID system. The optimised method was applied to the determination of Cu(II) and Ni(II) in coins, and that of Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), and VO(II) in pharmaceutical preparations with relative standard deviations within 1.1-5.2%. The results obtained are in good agreement with sewage water samples and the declared values for the pharmaceutical formulations, or with the results of AAS of metal contents in coins, pharmaceutical preparations, and sewage water samples.  相似文献

Dracaena reflexa, a traditionally significant medicinal plant, has not been extensively explored before for its phytochemical and biological potential. The present study was conducted to evaluate the bioactive phytochemicals and in vitro biological activities of D. reflexa, and perform in silico molecular docking validation of D. reflexa. The bioactive phytochemicals were assessed by preliminary phytochemical testing, total bioactive contents, and GC-MS analysis. For biological evaluation, the antioxidant (DPPH, ABTS, CUPRAC, and ABTS), antibacterial, thrombolytic, and enzyme inhibition (tyrosinase and cholinesterase enzymes) potential were determined. The highest level of total phenolic contents (92.72 ± 0.79 mg GAE/g extract) was found in the n-butanol fraction while the maximum total flavonoid content (110 ± 0.83 mg QE/g extract) was observed in methanolic extract. The results showed that n-butanol fraction exhibited very significant tyrosinase inhibition activity (73.46 ± 0.80) and acetylcholinesterase inhibition activity (64.06 ± 2.65%) as compared to other fractions and comparable to the standard compounds (kojic acid and galantamine). The methanolic extract was considered to have moderate butyrylcholinesterase inhibition activity (50.97 ± 063) as compared to the standard compound galantamine (53.671 ± 0.97%). The GC-MS analysis of the n-hexane fraction resulted in the tentative identification of 120 bioactive phytochemicals. Furthermore, the major compounds as identified by GC-MS were analyzed using in silico molecular docking studies to determine the binding affinity between the ligands and the enzymes (tyrosinase, acetylcholinesterase, and butyrylcholinesterase enzymes). The results of this study suggest that Dracaena reflexa has unquestionable pharmaceutical importance and it should be further explored for the isolation of secondary metabolites that can be employed for the treatment of different diseases.  相似文献

We investigated how different doses of microwave irradiation (MR) affect seed germination in Sorghum, including the level of remediation against textile and surgical wastewater (WW) by modulating biochemical and morpho-physiological mechanisms under glutamic acid (GA) application. The experiment was conducted to determine the impact of foliar-applied GA on Sorghum under wastewater conditions. Plants were treated with or without microwave irradiation (30 s, 2.45 GHz), GA (5 and 10 mM), and wastewater (0, 25, 50, and 100). Growth and photosynthetic pigments were significantly decreased in plants only treated with various concentrations of WW. GA significantly improved the plant growth characteristics both in MR-treated and -untreated plants compared with respective controls. HMs stress increased electrolyte leakage (EL), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and malondialdehyde (MDA) content; however, the GA chelation significantly improved the antioxidant enzymes activities such as ascorbate oxidase (APX), superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) both in MR-treated and -untreated plants under WW stress compared with respective controls. The results suggested that the MR-treated plants accumulate higher levels of HMs under GA addition in comparison to the WW-only-treated and MR-untreated plants. The maximum increase in Cd accumulation was observed in the range of 14–629% in the roots, 15–2964% in the stems, and 26–4020% in the leaves; the accumulation of Cu was 18–2757% in the roots, 15–4506% in the stems, and 23–4605% in the leaves; and the accumulation of Pb was 13–4122% in the roots, 21–3588% in the stems, and 21–4990% in the leaves under 10 mM GA and MR-treated plants. These findings confirmed that MR-treated sorghum plants had a higher capacity for HMs uptake under GA and could be used as a potential candidate for wastewater treatment.  相似文献

A series of imidazolium-based symmetrical and asymmetrical dicationic ionic liquids (DcILs) with alkyl spacers of different length and with [FeCl3Br] as counter ion have been synthesized. The synthesized DcILs are characterized by using FTIR and Raman spectroscopy as well as mass spectrometry, along with single-crystal XRD analysis. Physicochemical properties such as solubility, thermal stability and magnetic susceptibility are also measured. These compounds show low melting points, good solubility in water and organic solvents, thermal stability, and paramagnetism. The products of molar susceptibility and temperature (χmol⋅T) for the synthesized DcILs have been found between 4.05 to 4.79 emu mol−1 K Oe−1 and effective magnetic moment values have also been determined to be compared to that expected from the spin-only approximation.  相似文献

通过溶剂热反应成功合成出一种新型2D配位聚合物[Tb(1,4-bdc)1.5(phen)(H2O)]n(1)(1,4-H2bdc=对苯二甲酸;phen=菲咯啉)。对其进行了单晶X射线衍射、粉末X射线衍射、红外光谱、元素分析、荧光光谱表征。X射线衍射晶体学分析表明,配合物1结晶于三斜晶系P1空间群,2个相邻的Tb(Ⅲ)离子与4个1,4-bdc2-通过—O—C—O—桥联成双核单元,并进一步通过1,4-bdc2-桥联成二维层状结构。荧光实验证明配合物1可以通过荧光猝灭机制检测Fe3+,Ksv=8.39×103 L·mol-1,检测限为0.017μmol·L-1。  相似文献

The dielectric properties of coordination polymers has been a topic of recent interest, but the role of different functional groups on the dielectric properties of these polymers has not yet been fully addressed. Herein, the effects of electron-donating (R=NH2) and electron-withdrawing (R=NO2) groups on the dielectric behavior of such materials were investigated for two thermally stable and guest-free Zn-based coordination polymers, [Zn(L1)(L2)]n ( 1 ) and [Zn(L1)(L3)]n ( 2 ) [L1=2-(2-pyridyl) benzimidazole (Pbim), L2=5-aminoisophthalate (Aip), and L3=5-nitroisophthalate (Nip)]. The results of dielectric studies of 1 revealed that it possesses a high dielectric constant (κ=65.5 at 1 kHz), while compound 2 displayed an even higher dielectric constant (κ=110.3 at 1 kHz). The electron donating and withdrawing effects of the NH2 and NO2 substituents induce changes in the polarity of the polymers, which is due to the inductive effect from the aryl ring for both NO2 and NH2. Theoretical results from density functional theory (DFT) calculations, which also support the experimental findings, show that both compounds have a distinct electronic behavior with diverse wide bandgaps. The significance of the current work is to provide information about the structure-dielectric property relationships. So, this study promises to pave the way for further research on the effects of different functional groups on coordination polymers on their dielectric properties.  相似文献

UV irradiation of solutions of a guanidinate coordinated dimagnesium(I) compound, [{(Priso)Mg}2] 3 (Priso=[(DipN)2CNPri2], Dip=2,6-diisopropylphenyl), in either benzene, toluene, the three isomers of xylene, or mesitylene, leads to facile activation of an aromatic C−H bond of the solvent in all cases, and formation of aryl/hydride bridged magnesium(II) products, [{(Priso)Mg}2(μ-H)(μ-Ar)] 4 – 9 . In contrast to similar reactions reported for β-diketiminate coordinated counterparts of 3 , these C−H activations proceed with little regioselectivity, though they are considerably faster. Reaction of 3 with an excess of the pyridine, p-NC5H4But (pyBut), gave [(Priso)Mg(pyButH)(pyBut)2] 10 , presumably via reduction of the pyridine to yield a radical intermediate, [(Priso)Mg(pyBut⋅)(pyBut)2] 11 , which then abstracts a proton from the reaction solvent or a reactant. DFT calculations suggest two possible pathways to the observed arene C−H activations. One of these involves photochemical cleavage of the Mg−Mg bond of 3 , generating magnesium(I) doublet radicals, (Priso)Mg⋅. These then doubly reduce the arene substrate to give “Birch-like” products, which subsequently rearrange via C−H activation of the arene. Circumstantial evidence for the photochemical generation of transient magnesium radical species includes the fact that irradiation of a cyclohexane solution of 3 leads to an intramolecular aliphatic C−H activation process and formation of an alkyl-bridged magnesium(II) species, [{Mg(μ-Priso−H)}2] 12 . Furthermore, irradiation of a 1 : 1 mixture of 3 and the β-diketiminato dimagnesium(I) compound, [{(DipNacnac)Mg}2] (DipNacnac=[HC(MeCNDip)2]), effects a “scrambling” reaction, and the near quantitative formation of an unsymmetrical dimagnesium(I) compound, [(Priso)Mg−Mg(DipNacnac)] 13 . Finally, the EPR spectrum (77 K) of a glassed solution of UV irradiated 3 is dominated by a broad featureless signal, indicating the presence of a doublet radical species.  相似文献

The excellent photocatalytic hydrogenation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) to 4-aminophenol (4-AP) with NaBH4 in the aqueous medium is still a big challenge. Herein, we report a facile one-pot evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) method to synthesize a series of CuO/TiO2 nanocomposites. The as-synthesized CuO/TiO2 photocatalysts exhibit remarkable catalytic activity under direct sunlight in selective hydrogenation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) to 4-aminophenol (4-AP) due to the synergistic interaction of guest copper nanoparticles with host titanium dioxide (TiO2) species. Especially, 5 wt% CuO/TiO2 nanocomposite revealed superior reaction rate constant (k) value (0.306 min−1) when compared to 3 wt% CuO/TiO2 (0.192 min−1) and 7 wt% CuO/TiO2 (0.240 min−1). Moreover, several characterization techniques (XRD, TEM, N2 adsorption–desorption isotherm, DRS, and XPS) were executed to deeply investigate the effect of copper content on the bulk and interfacial properties of the catalysts. The characterization results proved that the superior photocatalytic hydrogenation over 5 wt% CuO/TiO2 catalyst can be ascribed to moderate CuO loading as well as even dispersion of CuO species on the surface of active TiO2 host, which can largely improve the light absorption ability within visible light region. Besides, the 5 wt% CuO/TiO2 catalyst exhibits remarkable recyclability and durability, retaining its superior activity (above 95%) up to several repeating cycles, proving its practical applicability for hydrogenation reactions at domestic and industrial levels.  相似文献
