Sparins A–C ( 1 – 3 , resp.), three new flavonoids, were isolated from the CHCl3 subfraction of the EtOH extract of the whole plant of Spiraea brahuica, along with 3′,7‐di‐O‐methylquercetin ( 4 ) and luteolin 7‐β‐D ‐glucopyranoside ( 5 ), reported for the first time from this species. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques including MS and 2D‐NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Zn(II) complexes of N-(quinolin-8-yl)picolinamide (HL1) (1) and N2,N6-di(quinolin-8-yl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide (H2L2) (2) have been synthesized by deprotonation of the ligands and characterized by IR, NMR, and Single crystal X-ray crystallography. The mononuclear [Zn(L1)2] (3) and homodinuclear [Zn2(L2)2] (4) complexes are characterized by distorted octahedral geometries stabilized by hydrogen bonding and weak π···π interaction. The complexes demonstrate intense fluorescence bands in comparison with their corresponding ligands with well-distinguished intensity. The complexes act as efficient catalysts in various transesterification reactions. Among those, the best results have been achieved with complex 3 in conversion of 4-nitrophenylacetate into methyl acetate within 3 h.

In many fluid flows of practical importance transition is caused by the linear growth of wave instabilities, such as Tollmien–Schlichting waves, which eventually grow to a finite size at which stage secondary instabilities come into play. If transition is to be delayed or even avoided in such flows, then the linear growth of the disturbances must be prevented since control in the nonlinear regime would be a considerably more difficult task. Here a strategy for active control of two-dimensional incompressible and compressible Tollmien–Schlichting waves and its use in controlling the more practically relevant problem of crossflow instability which arises in swept-wing flows is discussed. The control is through an active suction/blowing distribution at the wall though the same result could be achieved by variable wall heating. In order to control the instability it is assumed that the wall shear stress and pressure are known from measurements. It is shown that, certainly at finite Reynolds numbers, it is sufficient to know the flow properties at a finite number of points along the wall. The cases of high and finite Reynolds numbers are discussed using asymptotic and numerical methods respectively. It is shown that a control strategy can be developed to stop the growth of all two-dimensional Tollmien–Schlichting waves at finite and large Reynolds numbers. Some discussion of nonlinear effects in the presence of active control is given and the possible control of other instability mechanisms investigated. The vector Helmholtz equation in fractional space can describe the complex phenomenon of wave propagation in fractal media. With this view, a generalized Helmholtz equation for wave propagation in fractional space is established and its analytical solution is obtained. New Schiff base polymers poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)ethylenediimine] (PMBCen), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde) 1,2-propylenediimine] (PMBCPn), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde) 1,3-propylenediimine] (PMBCPR), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)l,2-phenylenediimine] (PMBCPh), poly[4,4'-methylene-bis(cinnamaldehyde)meso-stilbenediimine] (PMBCS), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)urea] (PMBCUR), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)semicarbazone] (PMBCSc), poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)thiosemicarbazone] (PMBCTSc) and poly[4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde)hydrazone] (PMBCH) were formed by polycondensation of 4,4'-methylenebis(cinnamaldehyde) with ethylenediamine, 1,2-propylenediamine, 1,3-propylenediamine, 1,2-phenylenediamine, meso-stilbenediamine, urea, semicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and hydrazine, respectively. The dialdehyde and polymers have been characterized through elemental micro-analysis, IR, UV-Vis and 'H-NMR spectroscopic techniques. Thermoanalytical studies and viscous flow of dilute solutions of dialdehyde and its polymers have been examined and compared.  相似文献

We develop a simple analytical theory that relates dense sphere packings in a cylinder to corresponding disk packings on its surface. It applies for ratios R=D/d (where d and D are the diameters of the hard spheres and the bounding cylinder, respectively) up to R=1+1/sin(π/5). Within this range the densest packings are such that all spheres are in contact with the cylindrical boundary. The detailed results elucidate extensive numerical simulations by ourselves and others by identifying the nature of various competing phases.  相似文献

A synthetic polymer was synthesized and used for the improvement of dyeing properties as well as decolorization of textile waste water. Two dyes were selected having anthraquinone based Remazol Blue R and azo based Remazol Red RB. It was observed that the synthetic polymer can be used as fixer for the fixation of dye by crosslinking between dye and fibre, which not only improves the dyeing properties but also helpful to coagulate the colour after dyeing. By single point method the concentrations of synthetic polymer were calculated in residual after dyeing. It was examined that the residual synthetic polymer is helpful in colour removal efficiency by coagulation of polymer with dye to form heavy molecules which settle down and decolorization occurred. Colour removal efficiency was found dependents on pH, concentration of synthetic polymer and inorganic coagulant.  相似文献

The single-wing extension of the bowl-shaped tribenzotriquinacene (TBTQ) framework with polycondensed aromatic hydrocarbon units has been reported. The important role of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum strains in improving the human mucosal and systemic immunity, preventing non-steroidal anti-provocative drug-induced reduction in T-regulatory cells, and as probiotic starter cultures in food processing has motivated in-depth molecular and genomic research of these strains. The current study, building on this research concept, reveals the importance of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 13-3 as a potential probiotic and bacteriocin-producing strain that helps in improving the condition of the human digestive system and thus enhances the immunity of the living beings via various extracellular proteins and exopolysaccharides. We have assessed the stability and quality of the L. plantarum 13-3 genome through de novo assembly and annotation through FAST-QC and RAST, respectively. The probiotic-producing components, secondary metabolites, phage prediction sites, pathogenicity and carbohydrate-producing enzymes in the genome of L. plantarum 13-3 have also been analyzed computationally. This study reveals that L. plantarum 13-3 is nonpathogenic with 218 subsystems and 32,918 qualities and five classes of sugars with several important functions. Two phage hit sites have been identified in the strain. Cyclic lactone autoinducer, terpenes, T3PKS, and RiPP-like gene clusters have also been identified in the strain evidencing its role in food processing. Combined, the non-pathogenicity and the food-processing ability of this strain have rendered this strain industrially important. The subsystem and qualities characterization provides a starting point to investigate the strain’s healthcare-related applications as well.  相似文献
