Peptidomimetic foldamers were synthesized by oligomerizing derivatives of the δ-amino acid analogue, 2-(2-aminophenoxy)alkanoic acid. Single-crystal analysis of the tetramer reveals a 21-helical secondary structure stabilized by hydrogen bonding and the coiled stacking of aromatic rings. The M-helicity of 2-aminophenoxyacetic acid oligomers was induced by the incorporation of only a single chiral carbon of the N-terminal (R)-2-(2-nitrophenoxy)propionamide moiety. The solution state CD spectra demonstrated that the resulting helix induced a substantial Cotton effect. The secondary structure was further characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

We present here the formation of a modular 2D molecular network composed of two different types of square-shaped butadiyne-bridged macrocycles, having intrinsic molecular voids, aligned alternately at the solid-liquid interface. Five Mn 3Zn 2 heterometallic complexes have been synthesized and structurally and magnetically characterized. Spin ground states up to S = 6 have been observed for these complexes and are shown to depend on the cocrystallizing cation and on the terminal ligand. Large axial zero-field interactions ( D = -1.16 K) are the result of near-parallel alignment of the Mn (III) Jahn-Teller axes. High-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance, single-crystal magnetization hysteresis, and alternating current susceptibility measurements are presented to characterize [NEt 4] 3[Mn 3Zn 2(salox) 3O(N 3) 6X 2] [X (-) = Cl (-) ( 1), Br (-) ( 2)] and [AsPh 4] 3[Mn 3Zn 2(salox) 3O(N 3) 6Cl 2] ( 3) and reveal that 1 and 2 are single-molecule magnets ( U eff = 44 K), while 3 is not.  相似文献

A trinuclear manganese complex, [Mn 3O(Me-salox) 3(2,4'-bpy) 3(ClO 4)].0.5MeCN ( 1.0.5MeCN; Me-H 2salox = 2-hydroxyphenylethanone oxime), has been synthesized and characterized structurally as a [Mn (III) 3(mu 3-O)] (7+) core. Structural distortion by the twisting of the oxime ligand dominates ferromagnetic interactions within three Mn ions to give an S = 6 ground state as well as to enhance the anisotropy barrier U eff to 37.5 K.  相似文献

The reaction of N-(2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzyl)iminodiethanol (=H3(5-NO2-hbide)) with Mn(OAc)2* 4 H2O in methanol, followed by recrystallization from 1,2-dichloroethane, yielded a wheel-shaped single-molecule magnet (SMM) of [MnII 3MnIII 4(5-NO2-hbide)6].5 C2H4Cl2 (1). In 1, seven manganese ions are linked by six tri-anionic ligands and form the wheel in which the two manganese ions on the rim and the one in the center are MnII and the other four manganese ions are MnIII ions. Powder magnetic susceptibility measurements showed a gradual increase with chimT values as the temperature was lowered, reaching a maximum value of 53.9 emu mol(-1) K. Analyses of magnetic susceptibility data suggested a spin ground state of S=19/2. The zero-field splitting parameters of D and B 0 4 were estimated to be -0.283(1) K and -1.64(1)x10(-5) K, respectively, by high-field EPR measurements (HF-EPR). The anisotropic parameters agreed with those estimated from magnetization and inelastic neutron scattering experiments. AC magnetic susceptibility measurements showed frequency-dependent in- and out-of-phase signals, characteristic data for an SMM, and an Arrhenius plot of the relaxation time gave a re-orientation energy barrier (DeltaE) of 18.1 K and a pre-exponential factor of 1.63x10(-7) s. Magnetization experiments on aligned single crystals below 0.7 K showed a stepped hysteresis loop, confirming the occurrence of quantum tunneling of the on magnetization (QTM). QTM was, on the other hand, suppressed by rapid sweeps of the magnetic field even at 0.5 K. The sweep-rate dependence of the spin flips can be understood by considering the Landau-Zener-Stückelberg (LZS) model.  相似文献

Vibrational energy relaxation of degenerate CO stretches of four tungsten carbonyl complexes, W(CO)6, W(CO)5(CS), W(CO)5(CH3CN), and W(CO)5(CD3CN), is observed in nine alkane solutions by subpicosecond time-resolved infrared (IR) pump-probe spectroscopy. Between 0 and 10 ps after the vibrational excitation, the bleaching signal of the ground-state IR absorption band shows anisotropy. Decay of the anisotropic component corresponds either to the rotational diffusion of the molecule or to the intramolecular vibrational energy transfer among the degenerate CO stretch modes. The time constant of the anisotropy decay, tauaniso, shows distinct solvent dependence. By comparing the results for the T1u CO stretch of W(CO)6 and the A1 CO stretch of W(CO)5(CS), the time constant of the rotational diffusion, taur, and the time constant of the intramolecular energy transfer among the three degenerate vibrational modes, taue, are determined as 12 and 8 ps, respectively. The tauaniso value increases as the number of carbon atoms in the alkane solvent increases. After 10 ps, the recovery of the bleaching becomes isotropic. The isotropic decay represents the vibrational population relaxation, from v=1 to v=0. In heptane, the time constant for the isotropic decay, tau1, for W(CO)5(CS) and W(CO)6 was 140 ps. The tau1 for the two acetonitrile-substituted complexes, however, shows a smaller value of 80 ps. The vibrational energy relaxation of W(CO)5(CH3CN) and W(CO)5(CD3CN) is accelerated by the intramolecular energy redistribution from the CO ligand to the acetonitrile ligand. In the nine alkane solutions, the tau1 value of W(CO)6 ranges between 124 and 158 ps, showing the apparent V-shaped solvent dependence with its minimum in decane, while the tau1 value shows little solvent dependence for W(CO)5(CH3CN) and W(CO)5(CD3CN).  相似文献

A copper-catalyzed tandem reaction with vinyl halides and 2-aminobenzamides has been developed. In this synthetic route, cross-coupling reaction of the amide moiety with vinyl halides initially progresses, followed by hydroamination, to provide 2,2-disubstituted quinazolinone derivatives. Moreover, the tandem reaction is used in a one-pot synthesis beginning with alkyne hydroiodination by PPh3, I2, and H2O.  相似文献

Ultrasound (US) serves as a stimulus to change shear viscosity of aqueous polysaccharides of ι-carrageenan, κ-carrageenan and, agar. The US effect was compared in their aqueous solutions at 60 °C for the US frequency of 23, 45, and 83 kHz. Under the US condition with 50 W at 45 kHz, the shear viscosity of each aqueous solution was decreased significantly. Subsequently, when the US was stopped, the shear viscosity returned back to the original value. In addition, the US showed different effects of the US frequency over the viscosity change in the three kinds of polysaccharides. When the US frequency was changed, the US effects were less at 83 kHz and 28 kHz for the shear viscosity change. In addition, as NaCl was present in the aqueous solution, the viscosity change decreased by the US exposure. These results suggest that the US effect on the viscosity reduction was influenced by the condition of polymer coil conformation, which was expanded or shrank by electrostatic repulsion of the SO3? groups. FT-IR analysis supported that the hydrogen bonds of carrageenans were broken during the US exposure. Using Fourier self-deconvolution for the FT-IR spectra without and with US exposure suggests that the US influenced the hydrogen bonds of water and the OH group of polysaccharides.  相似文献
