AlCl3 facilitated C-N bond forming reaction between 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline and anilines affording a convenient method for the preparation of N-aryl substituted 3-chloroquinoxalin-2-amines. A related N-benzyl derivative, however, was prepared via a conventional method. These N-alkyl/aryl substituted 3-chloroquinoxalin-2-amines on coupling with terminal alkynes in toluene under Pd/C-Cu catalysis afforded a range of 1,2-disubstituted pyrrolo[2,3-b]quinoxalines within 3-5 h in good to excellent yields. Some of the compounds synthesized showed promising anti-proliferative properties when tested in vitro against two cancer cell lines. Laboratory and industrial risers are equipped with exits of many different layouts, and numerous publications discuss the influence of riser exit geometry on local and overall solids hydrodynamics in the riser. The present paper reviews literature findings--mostly based upon indirect experimental techniques and often somewhat contradictory, Direct measurement of particle velocity and particle occupancy near and in the riser exit provide a better indication of the effect of riser exit geometry. Positron Emission Particle Tracking (PEPT) was used in this work for the first time to investigate the exit region of the riser, An abrupt or sharp exit causes particles to be knocked out of the gas flow, so forming a recirculation or reflux region in the upper part of the riser. Endgame studies have long served as a tool for testing human creativity and intelligence. We find that they can serve as a tool for testing machine ability as well. Two of the leading chess engines, Stockfish and Leela Chess Zero (LCZero), employ significantly different methods during play. We use Plaskett’s Puzzle, a famous endgame study from the late 1970s, to compare the two engines. Our experiments show that Stockfish outperforms LCZero on the puzzle. We examine the algorithmic differences between the engines and use our observations as a basis for carefully interpreting the test results. Drawing inspiration from how humans solve chess problems, we ask whether machines can possess a form of imagination. On the theoretical side, we describe how Bellman’s equation may be applied to optimize the probability of winning. To conclude, we discuss the implications of our work on artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial general intelligence (AGI), suggesting possible avenues for future research. 相似文献

The distribution of hyperfine fields (HF) is obtained at room temperature for Fe37.5Ni37.5Cr5Mo2Si10B8 annealed at temperatures between 641 K and 744 K. P(H,T) is also derived for samples annealed at 744 K for over 70 hours.
Three steps are noted in the evolution of the crystalline phases: (1) separation of ∼ 35% of Fe atoms into environments with
low and high HF's, with increase in Tc for the remainder (2) nearly complete separation of the P(H) into these two components on further annealing at a higher temperature
and (3) at yet higher annealing temperatures, conversion of the high field phase into one with a lower HF. The observations
are tentatively explained in terms of preferential presence of Cr in one of the phases and its subsequent migration into the

A simple, sensitive and accessible while reliable method was developed and validated for quantitation of buprenorphine (Bup) as a highly lipophilic drug in human urine samples. The proposed method is based on a rapid and easy dispersive micro solid-phase extraction procedure using magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer nanoparticles (MMIPNPs), magnetite (Fe3O4) cores surrounded by polyamidoamine and Bup as template, followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis with fluorescence detector (HPLC-FL). The prepared MMIPNP adsorbent was characterized by different techniques. Transmission electron microscopy images show that the Fe3O4 core nanoparticles are well enwrapped by MIP layers. In determination process, Bup could be quantitatively extracted using MMIPNPs and then can be easily desorbed by mixture of sodium hydroxide (0.1 mol/L) and methanol (1:9, v/v) solution before injection to HPLC. The relative recoveries of Bup were found to be 97.4–100.3%, and the linear dynamic range was within the ranges of 1–1000 ng/mL with R2 of 0.9998. Remarkably high quality of 0.21 and 0.71 ng/mL was obtained as the limit of detection and limit of quantification, respectively. The electrochemical reduction of nitro group of orthonitroaniline (ONA) is carried out on Pb, Cu, and Sn electrodes. The effect
of current density, temperature, and acid concentration on product yield is studied. The polarization curve for ONA in acidic
condition is recorded. Under preparative electrolysis, ONA gives a mixture of hydroxylamine and phenylenediamine, the proportion
of phenylenediamine increasing with the electrolysis time. The product formation is confirmed by thin-layer chromatography,
melting-point test, UV-visible, IR, and NMR methods. The operating conditions are optimized for a good yield of orthophenylenediamine.
The catalytic activity of different metals for the reduction of nitro group is discussed. The percent yield of orthophenylenediamine
is found to be high on the lead electrode.

A differential polarization-shift keying (DPolSK) scheme in which information is encoded as a differential polarization state with respect to the previous symbol is considered. A novel DPolSK demodulator consisting of optical delay interferometer and a pair of birefringence plates that do polarization rotation are proposed. Numerical simulations of the long haul fiber-optic systems based on differential phase-shift keying (DPSK) and DPolSK are carried out and it is found that DPolSK has a higher nonlinear tolerance than DPSK. This is because the ghost pulse generation due to intra-channel four-wave mixing (IFWM) is less efficient for DPolSK signals as compared to DPSK. 相似文献
