We prove the existence of positive eigenvalues for two types of equations having an indefinite weight. We consider the linear case, and we show the existence of a positive principal eigenvalue corresponding to a positive eigenfunction. For the nonlinear case, we show that the set of positive eigenvalues is an unbounded interval, and that the corresponding eigenfunctions are positive.  相似文献

The reaction of N1-tosylamidrazones with tris(dimethylamino)phosphine and P,P-dichlorophenylphosphine oxide provides respectively a convenient access to the new 3-(dimethylamino)-1,2,4,3-triazaphospholines and 1,2,4,3-triazaphosphlines-3-oxide. The structure of all obtained products is confirmed by NMR (1 H, 31 P, 13C) and IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

For a non-destructive determination of the protein content in soya bean samples, 14-MeV neutron activation analysis /NAA/ was applied. To check the method, results obtained by X-ray fluorescence /XRF/ analysis and the Kjeldahl procedure were compared. For pressed pellet samples of about 1 g and choosing 15 min irradiation and 10 min measuring times the accuracy of the protein determination was found to be 15%.This work was supported by the Hungarian Research Foundation /Contract No. 259/.  相似文献

3‐(1H‐Indol‐3‐yl)‐1H‐pyrazol‐5‐amine 3 was prepared in a quantitative yield by heating 3‐(1H‐indol‐3‐yl)‐3‐oxopropanenitrile 2 in dry ethanol with hydrazine hydrate, and utilized as key intermediate for the synthesis of some new pyrazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidines and pyrazolo[5,1‐c]triazines. Structures of the newly synthesized compounds were established by elemental analysis and spectral data and evaluated as antioxidant agents. Most of the tested compounds belonging to the pyrazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine series exhibited better activities than members of the pyrazolotriazine one.  相似文献

This paper presents the one‐pot reaction synthesis of coordination calcium and strontium compounds [Ca(L)2(H2O)2 1 and Sr(L)2(H2O)2 2 ] with the 2‐(4‐chlorophenylamino) benzoic acid ligand ( HL  = C13H10NO2Cl). The complexes were obtained in good yields, and their structures were corroborated according to their CHN, spectroscopic (IR and UV/Vis.) and solution molar conductivity data as the latter confirmed their molecular nature. Additionally, the powder X‐ray diffraction pattern of the complexes was used to determine the cell parameters and the hkl indices together with their corresponding 2θ values. The microbial resistance against the currently available antifungal agents requires searching for new antifungal compounds. Promising fungicidal activities of these coordination complexes were determined against the Fusarium corn disease as complexes 1 and 2 at 30°C inhibited the grain pathogenicity by 70% and 66%, respectively. Moreover, 1 and 2 retarded the amylase enzymes that are responsible for the pathogenicity by 35.13% and 26.22% at 30°C.  相似文献

Breast cancer (BC) is the most common form of cancer among women worldwide. Despite the huge advancements in its treatment, the exact etiology of breast cancer still remains unresolved. There is an increasing interest in the role of the gut microbiome in modulating the anti-cancer therapeutic response. It seems that alteration of the microbiome-derived metabolome potentially promotes carcinogenesis. Taken together, metabolomics has arisen as a fascinating new omics field to screen promising metabolic biomarkers. In this study, fecal metabolite profiling was performed using NMR spectroscopy, to identify potential biomarker candidates that can predict response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for breast cancer. Metabolic profiles of feces from patients (n = 8) following chemotherapy treatment cycles were studied. Interestingly, amino acids were found to be upregulated, while lactate and fumaric acid were downregulated in patients under the second and third cycles compared with patients before treatment. Furthermore, short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) were significantly differentiated between the studied groups. These results strongly suggest that chemotherapy treatment plays a key role in modulating the fecal metabolomic profile of BC patients. In conclusion, we demonstrate the feasibility of identifying specific fecal metabolic profiles reflecting biochemical changes that occur during the chemotherapy treatment. These data give an interesting insight that may complement and improve clinical tools for BC monitoring.  相似文献

The crystal structure of potassium cerium(III) bis­(sulfate) monohydrate, KCe(SO4)2·H2O, is built up from irregular independent SO4 tetra­hedra, CeO9 polyhedra in the form of distorted tricapped trigonal prisms and K+ ions. Testicular dysfunction is caused by chronic exposure to environmental pollution, such as malathion, which causes oxidative stress, promoting cell damage. Autophagy is a key cellular process for eliminating malfunctioning organelles, such as the mitochondria (mitophagy), an eminent source of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Autophagy is crucial for protection against testicular damage. Rifaximin (RFX) is a non-absorbable antibiotic that can reshape the gut microbiome, making it effective in different gastrointestinal disorders. Interestingly, the gut microbiome produces short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the circulation, which act as signal molecules to regulate the autophagy. In this study, we investigated the regulatory effects of RFX on gut microbiota and its circulating metabolites SCFA and linked them with the autophagy in testicular tissues in response to malathion administration. Moreover, we divided the groups of rats that used malathion and RFX into a two-week group to investigate the mitophagy process and a four-week group to study mitochondriogenesis. The current study revealed that after two weeks of cotreatment with RFX, apoptosis was inhibited, oxidative stress was improved, and autophagy was induced. More specifically, PINK1 was overexpressed, identifying mitophagy activation. After four weeks of cotreatment with RFX, there was an increase in acetate and propionate-producing microflora, as well as the circulating levels of SCFAs. In accordance with this, the expression of PGC-1α, a downstream to SCFAs action on their receptors, was activated. PGC-1α is an upstream activator of mitophagy and mitochondriogenesis. In this sense, the protein expression of TFAM, which regulates the mitochondrial genome, was upregulated along with a significant decrease in apoptosis and oxidative stress. Conclusion: we found that RFX has a positive regulatory effect on mitophagy and mitochondria biogenesis, which could explain the novel role played by RFX in preventing the adverse effects of malathion on testicular tissue.  相似文献
