A new salicylate-selective electrode based on the complex (2,3;6,7;10,11;14,15-tetraphenyl-4,9,13,16-tetraoxo-1,5,8,12-tetraazacyclohexadecane) copper(II) [CuL] as the membrane carrier was developed. The electrode exhibits a good Nernstian slope of −60.9 ± 1.0 mV/decade and a linear range from 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−1 M for salicylate. The detection limit is 5.0 × 10−7 M. The electrode has a fast response time (5–15 s) and can be used for more than three months. The selective coefficients were determined by the fixed interference method (FIM) and separate solution method (SSM). The salicylate-selective electrode could be used in the pH range 3.5–10.5. It was employed as an indicator electrode for direct determination of salicylate in pharmaceutical samples. Published in Russian in Elektrokhimiya, 2008, Vol. 44, No. 9, pp. 1147–1154. A peptide-modified electrode array with a different peptide on each electrode is compared with a single electrode modified with many peptides for the voltammetric measurement of concentrations of Cu(2+), Cd(2+) and Pb(2+) in solution. The single gold electrode was modified simultaneously with peptides Gly-Gly-His, glutathione and angiotensin I each coupled to thioctic acid, and thioctic acid itself, and the calibration of mixtures of ions was compared with previously published data from an array of four sensors each with an individual modification. Calibration at the multi-peptide single-electrode sensor was by two-way partial least squares (voltammetric current measured with variables 'sample' x 'potential') and for the electrode array by three-way NPLS1 ('sample' x 'potential' x 'electrode'). The advantage of designing experiments to yield multi-way data is demonstrated and discussed.  相似文献

Parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) was used to analyze data from the high throughput screening of an array of organometallic rhodium and iridium complexes as catalysts for the intramolecular hydroamination of 2-(2-phenylethynyl)aniline to give 2-phenylindole. The progress of the hydroamination reactions was monitored using UV-visible spectroscopy. The overlapped UV-visible spectra of the mixture of starting material, product and solvent in the samples taken at different times were deconvoluted using PARAFAC. Unique PARAFAC models led to close approximations of the actual UV-visible spectra of the compounds in the mixture. The performance of the catalysts was then compared by estimating the final concentration of the starting material and product using PARAFAC loadings. A library of 63 complexes generated in situ was examined in a single experiment using this methodology. The complexes were generated from combinations of seven ligands (bis(N-methyl2-imidazolyl)methane, bis(1-pyrazolyl)methane, 1,10-phenanthroline, N,N'-bis(p-tolyl)diazabutadiene, N,N'-bis(p-tolyl)1,2-dimethyldiazabutadiene, N,N'-bis(mesityl)1,2-dimethyldiazabutadiene and bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenylimino)acenapthene) and nine metal precursors ([Ir(COD)Cl](2) (COD = 1,5-cyclooctadiene), [Ir(CO)(2)Cl](n), [Ir(COE)(2)Cl](2), [IrCp*Cl(2)](2) (Cp* = 1,2,3,4,5-pentamethylcyclopentadiene), [Rh(COD)Cl](2), [Rh(CO)(2)Cl](2), [Rh(COE)(2)Cl](2), [RhCp*Cl(2)](2) and [RhCpCl(2)](2)) (Cp = cyclopentadiene)). The proposed method can be used for the fast screening of arrays of metal complexes for identifying effective catalysts, providing information that can augment traditional methods used for the analysis of catalyzed reactions.  相似文献

A new green protocol has been developed for the synthesis of 12‐aryl‐8,9,10,12‐tetrahydrobenzo[a]xanthen‐11‐ones using guanidine hydrochloride as an organocatalyst under solvent‐free conditions. Operational simplicity, mild reaction conditions, enhanced rates, high isolated yields of the pure products, and purification of products by nonchromatographic methods are significant advantages of the protocol presented here.  相似文献

Competition between the CC functional group with the OH group in allyl alcohol and with the CO group in allyl aldehyde in the adsorption and thermal chemistry on Si(1 0 0)2×1 has been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and temperature-programmed desorption (TPD), as well as density-functional theory (DFT) calculations. The similarities found in the C 1s and O 1s spectra for both molecules indicate that the O-H dissociation product for allyl alcohol and [2 + 2] CO cycloaddition product for allyl aldehyde are preferred over the corresponding [2 + 2] CC cycloaddition products. Temperature-dependent XPS and TPD studies further show that thermal evolution of these molecules gives rise to the formation of ethylene, acetylene, and propene on Si(1 0 0)2×1, with additional CO evolution only from allyl alcohol. The formation of these desorption products also supports that the [2 + 2] CC cycloaddition reaction does not occur. In addition, the formation of SiC at 1090 K is observed for both allyl alcohol and allyl aldehyde. We propose plausible surface-mediated reaction pathways for the formation of these thermal evolution products. The present work illustrates the crucial role of the Si(1 0 0)2×1 surface in selective reactions of the Si dimers with the O−H group in allyl alcohol and with the CO group in allyl aldehyde over the CC functional group common to both molecules.  相似文献

Some new and optically active 1,2,4‐triazolo thiadiazoles bearing N‐phthaloyl‐l ‐amino acids were synthesized by reaction of 4‐amino‐5‐(3‐ or 4‐)pyridyl‐3‐mercapto‐(4H)‐1,2,4‐triazoles with N‐phthaloyl‐l ‐amino acids in the presence of phosphorus oxychloride. All the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis.  相似文献

In this article, the influences of alcohols on the hydrodynamics and oxygen mass transfer characteristics in an airlift reactor equipped with packing were investigated. The hydrodynamic parameters and mass transfer coefficient in 1 % (v/v) aqueous solutions of four aliphatic alcohols were tested. It was concluded that alcohols addition increased gas holdup and gas–liquid mass transfer coefficient. The packing installation increased mass transfer coefficient, gas holdup and liquid circulation velocity, as well.  相似文献

This article deals with the wave propagation analysis of single/double layered functionally graded (FG) size-dependent nanobeams in elastic medium and subjected to a longitudinal magnetic field employing nonlocal elasticity theory. Material properties of nanobeam change gradually according to the sigmoid function. Applying an analytical solution, the acoustical and optical dispersion relations are explored for various wave number, nonlocality parameter, material composition, elastic foundation constants, and magnetic field intensity. It is found that frequency and phase velocity of waves propagating in S-FGM nanobeam are significantly affected by these parameters. Also, presence of cut-off and escape frequencies in wave propagation analysis of embedded S-FGM nanobeams is investigated.  相似文献
