The enthalpies of solution of urea (U) in water (W)-tert-butanol (TBA) mixtures and of TBA in W-U mixtures, the enthalpies of dilution of TBA in W, and the enthalpies of mixing of U and TBA aqueous solutions were measured with a solution calorimeter and a flow microcalorimeter. Enthalpies of transfer of U and TBA to the mixed solvents were derived. Also, pair and triplet interaction parameters between the various solutes were derived from the mixing and dilution experiments. The enthalpic pair parameter hU-TBA is positive, suggesting that the main contribution to this parameter is the decrease in hydrophobic hydration of TBA in the presence of U.  相似文献

In an investigation of novel tricyclic systems, synthesis of several thieno[2,3-b][1,4]benzoxazepines and thieno[3,2-b][1,5]benzoxazepines were effected by ring closure of appropriately amino aldehyde compounds. Cannabis is well-known for its numerous therapeutic activities, as demonstrated in pre-clinical and clinical studies primarily due to its bioactive compounds. The Cannabis industry is rapidly growing; therefore, product development and extraction methods have become crucial aspects of Cannabis research. The evaluation of the current extraction methods implemented in the Cannabis industry and scientific literature to produce consistent, reliable, and potent medicinal Cannabis extracts is prudent. Furthermore, these processes must be subjected to higher levels of scientific stringency, as Cannabis has been increasingly used for various ailments, and the Cannabis industry is receiving acceptance in different countries. We comprehensively analysed the current literature and drew a critical summary of the extraction methods implemented thus far to recover bioactive compounds from medicinal Cannabis. Moreover, this review outlines the major bioactive compounds in Cannabis, discusses critical factors affecting extraction yields, and proposes future considerations for the effective extraction of bioactive compounds from Cannabis. Overall, research on medicinal marijuana is limited, with most reports on the industrial hemp variety of Cannabis or pure isolates. We also propose the development of sustainable Cannabis extraction methods through the implementation of mathematical prediction models in future studies.  相似文献

For the first order transition of the Ising model below , Isakov has proven that the free energy possesses an essential singularity in the applied field. Such a singularity in the control parameter, anticipated by condensation theory, is believed to be a generic feature of first order transitions, but too weak to be observable. We study these issues for the temperature driven transition of the q states 2D Potts model at . Adapting the droplet model to this case, we relate its parameters to the critical properties at and confront the free energy to the many informations brought by previous works. The essential singularity predicted at the transition temperature leads to observable effects in numerical data. We study the breakdown of chiral invariance by calculating, in the infinite coupling, large-N limit, the generating functional of a U(N) gauge theory with one fermion, expressed on a lattice with the naive, chiral symmetric action. We compute the link integral over the gauge fields and the expression obtained after the integration over the fermions is recast under the form of a generating functional for bosonic fields. Then, a saddle-point method allows the calculation of the order parameter ψψ〉 for which a non-zero value signals the spontaneous breakdown of chiral symmetry. The analysis of the fluctuations around the saddle point allows one to exhibit the Goldstone modes corresponding to those global symmetries of the fermionic lattice action which are simultaneously broken.  相似文献

Notable improvements in the treatment of the reaction π?dγnn, extending the validity of the calculation to lower photon energies, permit a new analysis of a high statistics photon spectrum. A precise value of the effective range parameter γnn = 2.83 ± 0.11 fm has been obtained. The theoretical uncertainty is 0.11 fm.
