Methylation of 5-amino-1H-tetrazole ( 1 ) gives 1-methyl-5-amino-1H-tetrazole ( 2 ) and 2-methyl-5-amino-1H-tetrazole ( 3 ). A new family of energetic silver complexes based on ligands 1 , 2 and 3 with perchlorate and nitrate anions ( 10 – 15 ) were synthesized and characterized by using IR, Raman, and NMR (1H, 13C, 14N, and 35Cl NMR) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of the compounds were determined where possible and reveal interesting structural details that are discussed herein. Additionally, differential scanning calorimetry was used to assess the thermal stability of the new salts, which showed excellent thermal stabilities at temperatures up to and above 225 °C. Standard tests were also used to assess the sensitivity of the materials towards impact and friction. All the silver complexes showed increased sensitivity values in comparison with analogous protonated 5-amino-1H-tetrazolium perchlorate and nitrate salts. Some of these materials have sensitivity values that are comparable to commonly used primary explosives and all of them either deflagrate ( 12 – 14 ) or detonate loudly ( 10 and 11 ) on contact with an open flame. Lastly, nitrate salt 11 is easily initiated by thermal shock. It shows reasonably low sensitivity in comparison with other silver salts (e.g., silver azide or silver fulminate), which makes handling it much less hazardous. Compound 11 also has good thermal stability, decomposing at ≈300 °C, and shows interesting properties as a more environmentally benign alternative to lead(II) diazide in initiation devices for civil and military applications.  相似文献

A new sensitive and selective method based on on‐line solid‐phase extraction (SPE) coupled to liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC/ESI‐MS/MS) using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer has been developed for the determination of epichlorohydrin (ECH) in different types of water samples. ECH is not easily determined directly by ESI‐MS as it is not readily ionized, and it has a low molecular mass and high polarity. Thus, prior derivatization of ECH was necessary, employing 3,5‐difluorobenzylamine as a derivatizing agent with Fe(III) as a catalyst. In order to achieve accurate quantification, correcting for matrix effects, losses in the derivatization process and instrumental deviations, isotope labelled ECH (ECH‐d5) was added as an internal standard (IS) to the water samples. The method was validated based on European SANCO guidelines using drinking and other types of treated water spiked at two concentration levels (0.1 and 1.0 µg/L), the lower level having been established as the limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method. Satisfactory accuracy (recoveries between 70 and 103%), precision (RSD <20%) and linearity (from 0.05 to 50 µg/L, r >0.99) were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) was set up at 0.03 µg/L. The method was applied to different water samples (drinking water and water samples collected from a municipal treatment water plant). In order to enhance confidence, five selected reaction monitoring (SRM) transitions were acquired, thus obtaining a simultaneous reliable quantification and identification of ECH in water, even at sub‐ppb levels. We have covalently coupled fluorophore 4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD) to the external ferritin shell through lysine residues. An increase in the luminescence quantum yield of the fluorescent ferritin particles and a blue shift in its emission peak compared to individual fluorophore were observed. The study of the particles by transmission electron microscopy showed that the native iron core ferritin is intact and that no degradation occurs during chemical functionalization of the protein shell. The NBD-labeled ferritin particles are water soluble, which allowed their controlled deposition by the Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) technique. Superparamagnetic and fluorescent properties of the particles are preserved within the LB film.  相似文献

Nowadays the electrical activity measured in tall objects has been widely characterized, but the collected data of lightning rods installed in buildings do not amount to enough to obtain reliable statistics. The measures stored at relatively few points are not representative of the different types of installations. Furthermore, the protection model applied for lightning air terminal installations is based on theoretical models. This paper describes the design of a micro-station to measure some lightning parameters in real lightning air terminal installations correlated to the nature of emplacement instead of triggering lightning or choosing points with a high number of lightning impacts.  相似文献

The influence of ion size and surface charge model in titrations of ionizable polyelectrolytes is studied by means of the Semi Grand Canonical Monte Carlo simulation method in the context of the primitive model. Three models describing a discrete distribution of charged functional groups on the polyelectrolyte and different values for the radius of the background electrolyte spanning from ionic to hydrated radii values were analyzed. The polyelectrolyte titrations were simulated by calculating the degree of ionization versus pH curves at two ionic strengths. The results allow us to quantify the impact of the sizes of the background salt ions and surface functional groups of the polyelectrolyte on the dissociation degree. This influence is explained in terms of the effectiveness of the screening of the charged surface sites. Finally, by comparison with the Non-Linear Poisson–Boltzmann model, the influence of ionic correlations and finite size of the solution ions is assessed.  相似文献

The possibilities and limitations of remote sample characterization using induced fluorescence are discussed. General equations for remote sensing of fluorescence are presented and discussed. The implications of different elements of a system for remote fluorescence sensing on different parameters of the equations are treated. Background light influence and signal processing are considered. Pulsed lasers, flashlamps and cw lamps as excitation sources are compared when matched to the proper detection scheme employing boxcar integration or lock-in detection. Model experiments have been performed to demonstrate different measurement strategies. Examples from remote oil-slick characterization are chosen as illustrations.  相似文献
