An algorithm is developed for finding the global minimum of a continuously differentiable function on a compact interval in R1. The function is assumed to be the sum of a convex and a concave function, each of which belongs to C1[a, b]. Any one-dimensional function with a bounded second derivative can be so written and, therefore, such functions generally have many local minima. The algorithm utilizes the structure of the objective to produce an ?-optimal solution by a sequence of simple one-dimensional convex programs.  相似文献

The synthesis of polymers of the type (-Cz-C[triple chemical bond]C-PtL(2)-C[triple chemical bond]C-Cz-X-)(n) along with the corresponding model compounds (Ph-PtL'(2)-C[triple chemical bond]C-Cz)(2)-X-, where Cz=3,3'-carbazole, X=nothing, Cz, or F (2,2'-fluorene), L=PBu(3), and L'=PEt(3) are reported. The electronic spectra (absorption, excitation, emission, and ns-transient spectra) and the photophysics of these species in 2-methyltetrahyrofuran (2MeTHF) at 298 and 77 K are presented. Evidence for singlet electron and triplet energy transfer from the Cz chromophore to the F moiety are provided and discussed in detail. The rate for electron transfer is very fast (>4 x 10(11) s(-1)), whereas that for triplet-triplet energy transfer is much slower (approximately 10(3) s(-1)). This work represents a very rare example of studies that address electronic communication in the backbone of a conjugated organometallic polymer.  相似文献

The isothermal crystallization of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) nanocomposites with inorganic fullerene-like tungsten disulfide nanoparticles (IF-WS2) has been studied from a thermal and morphological point of view, using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), polarized optical microscopy (POM) and time-resolved synchrotron X-ray diffraction. All the analyses revealed that the incorporation of the IF-WS2 altered significantly the crystallization behavior of PPS, in a way strongly dependent with the nanocomposite composition. The addition of IF-WS2 in 0.1 wt % proportion retarded the crystallization of PPS by increasing its fold surface free energy in a 10%. However, addition of the nanoparticles in excess of 1 wt % results in a promotion of the crystallization rate with reduction of the fold surface free energy to half the value of pure PPS.  相似文献

The discovery of novel small molecules endowed with high 3D-content remains a powerful tool for interrogating underrepresented biological space. To this end, the pseudo-natural products (pseudo-NP) strategy has become one of the most important tools to deliver biologically significant chemical probes. In this article, we describe the development of a new class of pseudo-NP collection, through connecting tryptamines with a furanose derivative followed by subjecting the product from this operation to a ring distortion strategy that led to diastereoselective synthesis of camptothecin-like compounds. This process is driven by a cascade that unites Pictet–Spengler reaction with Michael addition reaction, followed by oxidative-ring enlargement and subsequent transannular aldol cyclization delivering camptothecin-like architectures. The obtained diastereoselectivity was verified using density functional theory (DFT) calculations.  相似文献
