A solid support under microwave (MW) irradiation without solvent allowed the synthesis of the 2,3‐epoxy‐propyl‐thioimidazole 4 , regioselectively, and prohibited its cyclization to give the imidazo[2,1‐b]thiazine 3 from the reaction of 4,5‐diphenylimidazole‐2‐thione ( 1 ) with 1‐chloro‐2,3‐epoxy‐propane ( 2 ). The formation of the latter required basic conditions whereby it became the sole product; the change of the basic catalyst changed the ratio of the two products under both conventional and microwave (MW) conditions. A regioselective allylation of 1 with allyl bromide in presence of triethylamine gave the S‐allyl 8 , while in presence of potassium carbonate led to the S,N‐bis(allylated) derivative 9 . The intramolecular ring closure of 8 in presence of sulfuric acid afforded the imidazothiazole 16 . Protection of the sulfur in 1 and subsequent reaction with allyl bromide gave the N‐allylated derivative and with 2 gave N‐3‐chloro‐prop‐1‐yl derivative that shed light on the preferred route for the formation of 3 and 4 . The reactivity encountered during the alkylation of 1 with 2 has been theoretically investigated by using the AM1 method.  相似文献

The phenylhydrazones 1a‐d condensed with ethyl cyanoacetate to yield pyridazinones 2a‐d that reacted with sulphur in presence of piperidine to yield the aminothienopyridazineones 3a,b that reacted with electron poor olefins and acetylenes to yield phthalazines 10‐12. The condensed aminothiophenes 3a,b reacted with dimethylformamide dimethylacetal to yield amidines 13a,b. Compounds 2a,b condensed with dimethylformamide dimethylacetal to yield the trans enamines 16a,b that cyclized readily into the pyridopyridazinones 17a,b on treatment with ammonium acetate in presence of acetic acid. Compounds 2a‐d reacted also with benzylidenemalononitrile to yield the phthalazinones 21a‐d. The reactions were conducted both by microwave heating and conventional heating. Better yields in much shorter reaction times were achieved by microwave heating.  相似文献

Construction of starburst C60(>DPAF-C9)4 pentads was coupled with the use of highly fluorescent diphenylaminofluorene-C9 (DPAF-C9) addends as donor components in conjunction with the fullerene acceptor during single-photon excitation processes. High quantum yields (PhiCS) of charge-separation processes in the range 0.83-0.90 for C60(>DPAF-C9)n (n = 1, 2, or 4) were obtained in the formation of C60*-(>DPAF*+-C9)(>DPAF-C9)n-1 transient states. The lifetime of the radical ion-pairs (tauRIP) was found to be 900 ns for starburst C60(>DPAF-C9)4 (3) samples, which is 6-fold longer than that of the linear analogue C60(>DPAF-C9) (1), with a ca. 2 times increase of the charge-separation rate (kCS) compared to that of 1. These data implied the important role of sterically hindered DPAF-C9 pendants arranged in a starburst-like environment that encapsulates the central C60 core on extending the tauRIP. We interpreted the phenomena by the occurrence of intramolecular migration or exchange of electron or positive charge among multiple DPAF-C9 pendants of C60*-(>DPAF*+-C9)(>DPAF-C9)n-1, which gives an increased rate in charge generation and delayed charge recombination.  相似文献

The rates of ozonolysis of a suite of terminal alkenes ranging from C(8-14) are determined in the gas phase at an elevated temperature of 395.9 ± 1.2 K and a pressure of ~650 Torr using the EXTreme RAnge chamber (EXTRA). Rates are found to be invariant with carbon number, whilst literature measurements conducted under ambient conditions exhibited an increase in rate coefficient after 10 carbon atoms. These earlier findings appear to contradict the intuitive notion that the inductive effect is a short-range process operating over a maximum distance of a few carbon atoms. These new measurements support the hypothesis that operating under ambient conditions, kinetic measurements of condensable species can be influenced adversely by heterogeneous processes and should therefore be treated with caution.  相似文献

Charge transfer complexes (CTC) of 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP), 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-tolyl)porphyrin (TTP), 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin (TMP), Zn-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin (Zn-TPP), and Zn-5,10,15,20-tetra(4-tolyl)porphyrin (Zn-TTP) with tetracyanoethylene (TCNE) have been studied at various temperatures in CH(2)Cl(2) and CCl(4). The data are discussed in terms of equilibrium constant (K(CT)), molar extinction coefficient (varepsilon(CT)), thermodynamic standard reaction quantities (DeltaG degrees , DeltaH degrees and DeltaS degrees ), oscillator strength (f), and transition dipole moment (mu). The spectrum obtained for TPP/TCNE, TTP/TCNE, and TMP/TCNE systems shows two main absorption bands at 475 and 690nm, which are not due to the absorption of any of the reactants. These bands are characteristic of an intermolecular charge transfer involving the overlap of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of the acceptor with the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of the donor. The results reveal that the interaction between the donors and acceptor is due to pi-pi(*) transitions by the formation of radical ion pairs. The stoichiometry of the complexes was found to be 1:1 ratio by the Job and straight line methods between donors and acceptor with the maximum absorption bands at wavelengths of 475 and 690nm. The observed data show salvation effects on the spectral and thermodynamics properties of CTC. The ionization potential of the donors and the dissociation energy of the CTC were also determined and are found to be constant.  相似文献

p-Bu(t)-calix[5]arene forms crystalline inclusion complexes with o- and m-carboranes in toluene or dichloromethane-hexane, but not with the p-isomer, the extended structures being based on 1 : 1 host-guest supermolecules, with the p-Bu(t)-substituents creating a snug fit for o- and m-carborane; p-carborane forms a highly hexane soluble complex, induced by grinding, which crystallizes as fibres. Solution phase studies showed the presence of a 1 : 1 host-guest stoichiometry with all three isomeric carboranes as determined from Job plots. The association constants for the o- and m-carborane complexes are 6.4 +/- 0.3 M(-1) and 3.8 +/- 0.1 M(-1) respectively, whereas the p-isomer is only weakly associated. Competition experiments involving all three isomers show rapid exchange on the NMR time scale, and no selectivity in solution is evident. Selective association involving the o- and m-isomers in the solid state is therefore remarkable, and it is a manifestation of crystal packing forces which embodies the differences in dipole moments of the carboranes.  相似文献

Photoinduced intramolecular electron-transfer events of the newly synthesized subphthalocyanine-triphenylamine-fullerene triad (SubPc-TPA-C60) and subphthalocyanine-triphenylamine-bisfullerene tetrad (SubPc-TPA-(C(60))(2)) were studied. The geometric and electronic structures of the triad were probed by ab initio B3LYP/3-21G method, which predicts SubPc-TPA(*+)-C(60)(*-) as a stable charge-separated state. The photoinduced events via the excited singlet state of SubPc were monitored by time-resolved emission measurements as well as transient absorption techniques. Efficient charge-separations via the excited states of SubPc were observed with the rates of approximately 10(10) s(-)1. Compared with the SubPc-TPA dyad, a long-lived charge-separated state was observed for the SubPc-TPA-C(60) triad with the lifetime of the radical ion pairs (tau(RIP)) of 670 ns in benzonitrile. Interestingly, further charge stabilization was achieved in the charge-separated state of SubPc-TPA-(C(60))(2), in which the tau(RIP) was found to be 1050 ns in benzonitrile.  相似文献

The vapochromic behaviors of {Ag2L2[Au(C6F5)2]2}n (L = Et2O (1), Me2CO (2), THF (3), CH3CN (4)) were studied. {Ag2L2[Au(C6F5)2]2}n (L = Et2O (1)) was synthesized by the reaction of [Bu4N][Au(C6F5)2] with AgOClO3 in 1:1 molar ratio in CH2Cl2/Et2O (1:2). 1 was used as starting material with THF to form {Ag2L2[Au(C6F5)2]2}n (L = THF (3)). 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c and consists of tetranuclear units linked together via aurophilic contacts resulting in the formation of a 1D polymer that runs parallel to the crystallographic z axis. The gold(I) atoms are linearly coordinated to two pentafluorophenyl groups and display additional Au...Ag close contacts within the tetranuclear units with distances of 2.7582(3) and 2.7709(3) A. Each silver(I) center is bonded to the two oxygen atoms of the THF molecules with a Ag-O bond distance of 2.307(3) A. TGA analysis showed that 1 loses two molecules of the coordinated solvent per molecular unit (1st one: 75-100 degrees, second one: 150-175 degrees C), whereas 2, 3, and 4 lose both volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fluorinated ligands in a less well defined manner. Each complex loses both the fluorinated ligands and the VOCs by a temperature of about 325 degrees C to give a 1:1 gold/silver product. X-ray powder diffraction studies confirm that the reaction of vapors of VOCs with 1 in the solid state produce complete substitution of the ether molecules by the new VOC. The VOCs are replaced in the order CH3CN > Me2CO > THF > Et2O, with the ether being the easiest to replace. {Ag2(Et2O)2[Au(C6F5)2]2}n and {Ag2(THF)2[Au(C6F5)2]2} n both luminesce at room temperature and at 77 K in the solid state. Emission maxima are independent of the excitation wavelength used below about 500 nm. Emission maxima are obtained at 585 nm (ether) and 544 nm (THF) at room temperature and at 605 nm (ether) and 567 nm (THF) at 77 K.  相似文献

The biological addition of oligosaccharide structures to asparagine residues of N-glycoproteins influences the properties and bioactivities of these macromolecules. The linkage region constituents, 2-acetamino-2-deoxy-beta-D-glucopyranose monosaccharide (GlcNAc) and L-asparagine amino acid (Asn), are conserved in the N-glycoproteins of all eukaryotes. In order to gain information about the structure and dynamics of glycosylated proteins, two chloroacetamido sugars, Glc betaNAcNHCOCH2Cl and Man betaNHCOCH2Cl, have been synthesized, and their crystal structures have been solved. Structural comparison with a series of other models and analogs gives insight about the influence of the N-acetyl group at position C2 on the conformation of the glycan-peptide linkage at C1. Interestingly, this N-acetyl group also influences the packing and network of hydrogen bonds with involvement in weak hydrogen bonds C-H...X that are of biological importance. DFT ab initio calculations performed on a series of models and analogs also confirm that the GlcNAc derivatives present different preferred conformation about the N-CO-CH2-X (chi2) torsion angle of the glycan-peptide linkage, when compared to other monosaccharide derivatives. The energy profiles that have been obtained will be useful for parametrization of molecular mechanics force-field. The conjunction of crystallographic and computational chemistry studies provides arguments for the structural effect of the N-acetyl group at C2 in establishing an extended conformation that presents the oligosaccharide away from the protein surface.  相似文献
