A simple and rapid method for the simultaneous analysis of a ternary mixture containing trimethoprim, sulphamethoxazole and phenazopyridine hydrochloride is reported. The procedure consists of extraction in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid, filteration and measurement of the amplitudes of the third-derivative spectra at 242 and 276 nm and the absorbance at 450 nm for the determination of trimethoprim, sulphamethoxazole and phenazopyridine hydrochloride, respectively. Good linearity, accuracy, precision and selectivity were found, and the method is proposed for routine quality control purposes, even for the uniformity of contents test.  相似文献

This work investigates dependence of the short-circuit current density, open-circuit voltage, fill factor and efficiency of a thin film CdS/PbS solar cell on thickness of transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layer, thickness of window layer (CdS), concentration of uncompensated acceptors (width of space-charge region), carrier lifetime in PbS and the reflectivity from metallic back contact. The effect of optical losses, front and rear recombination losses as well as the recombination losses on space-charge region are also considered in this study. As a result, by thinning the front contact layer indium tin oxide from 400 to 100 nm and window layer (CdS) from 200 to 100 nm it is possible to reduce the optical losses from 32 to 20%. The effect of electron lifetime on the internal and external quantum efficiency can be neglected at high width of the space-charge region. The maximum current density of 18.4 mA/cm2 is achieved at wide space-charge region (concentration of uncompensated acceptors = 1015 cm?3) and the longest lifetime (τn = 10?6 s) where the optical and recombination losses are about 55%. The maximum efficiency of 5.17%, maximum open-circuit voltage of 417 mV and approximately fixed fill factor of 74% are yielded at optimum conditions such as: electron lifetime = 10?6 s; concentration of uncompensated acceptors = 1016 cm?3; thickness of TCO = 100 nm; thickness of CdS = 100 nm; velocity of surface and rear recombination = 107 cm/s and thickness of absorber layer = 3 μm. When the reflectance from the back contact is 100%, the cell parameters improve and the cell efficiency records a value of 6.1% under the above conditions.  相似文献

A vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) has been used to study the field-dependent magnetization, M(H), of the d5?d7 metal acetates [M(OAc)2.nH2O], metal β?diketonate complexes [M(tba)2(H2O)2] and the macromolecular polymers [M(tba)2(4,4-bipy)]n (where, M = Mn(II), Fe(II), and Co(II), OAc = O2CCH3, tba = deprotonated 3-benzoyl-1.1.1-trifluoroacetone, and 4,4-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine). The magnetic field strength (H) was applied in the range of 0?104 Oe at ambient temperature (ca. 23°C). The experimental results showed that the d5?d7 metal acetate, complexes and polymers exhibit low paramagnetic properties excepting [Fe(tba)2(4,4-bipy)]n polymer, which had negative magnetization M(emu/g) showing diamagnetic properties in the range 0?104 Oe. The magnetization was almost equal to zero without an applied magnetic field (H(Oe)) for each d5?d7 metal acetate, complex, and polymer. The linear M(H) curve had a magnetic saturation for iron and manganese acetate species at the magnetic field strengths of 3.1 × 103 and 4.7 × 103 Oe, respectively. The external magnetic field reached 9.0 × 103 Oe without any saturation magnetization for the cobalt compounds. The coordination effect of 3-benzoyl-1.1.1-trifluoroacetone (H-tba) and 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bipy) ligands on the field-dependent magnetization M(H) and paramagnetic behavior of d5?d7 metal atoms is discussed. The field-dependent magnetization M(H) curves of metal β?diketonate complexes and the polymers including d5?d7 metal acetates showed a weak field octahedral geometry.  相似文献

Modeling the human larynx can provide insights into the nature of the flow and pressures within the glottis. In this study, the intraglottal pressures and glottal jet flow were studied for a divergent glottis that was symmetric for one case and oblique for another. A Plexiglas model of the larynx (7.5 times life size) with interchangeable vocal folds was used. Each vocal fold had at least 11 pressure taps. The minimal glottal diameter was held constant at 0.04 cm. The glottis had an included divergent angle of 10 degrees. In one case the glottis was symmetric. In the other case, the glottis had an obliquity of 15 degrees. For each geometry, transglottal pressure drops of 3, 5, 10, and 15 cm H2O were used. Pressure distribution results, suggesting significantly different cross-channel pressures at glottal entry for the oblique case, replicate the data in another study by Scherer et al. [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 109, 1616-1630 (2001b)]. Flow visualization using a LASER sheet and seeded airflow indicated separated flow inside the glottis. Separation points did not appear to change with flow for the symmetric glottis, but for the oblique glottis moved upstream on the divergent glottal wall as flow rate increased. The outgoing glottal jet was skewed off-axis for both the symmetric and oblique cases. The laser sheet showed asymmetric circulating regions in the downstream region. The length of the laminar core of the glottal jet was less than approximately 0.6 cm, and decreased in length as flow increased. The results suggest that the glottal obliquity studied here creates significantly different driving forces on the two sides of the glottis (especially at the entrance to the glottis), and that the skewed glottal jet characteristics need to be taken into consideration for modeling and aeroacoustic purposes.  相似文献

On the basis of fundamental parameter approaches, the validity of standardless wavelength dispersive X‐ray fluorescence (WDXRF) and X‐ray powder diffraction algorithms was confirmed for analyzing Egyptian iron ore samples collected from two different locations, Aswan and Baharyia. The studied Egyptian iron ores represent different depositional environments and consequently exhibit variable mineralogical and chemical compositions. In the case of WDXRF analysis, the ground powders of iron ore samples were mixed and pressed with low contamination binder in a mass ratio of wax: sample = 4: 0.9 g at 120 kN cm?2. A standardless method for quantitative WDXRF was employed, which requires accurate determination of the amount of organic material in the sample. On the basis of differential thermal analysis, a new method is introduced for the determination of loss of ignition. With the application of the proposed method and standardless quantitative analysis, results for 12 elements in iron ores were obtained: Fe, Mn, Mg, Si, Al, Ca, Na, K, S, Ba, Zn, and Cl. The reliability and precision of the adopted procedure were tested against a standard reference material ‘Iron ore concentrate (SRM 690, NIST, USA)’. The quantitative analysis results of the certified reference material were found acceptable. Depending on the WDXRF results, the powder samples were directly introduced to X‐ray powder diffraction goniometry, and the phase compositions were quantitatively determined by using a standardless analysis program based on Rietveld method. The main phases of all iron ore samples are the hematite and goethite, whereas other phases are found with varying ratios, namely quartz, nordstrandite, rhodochrosite, kaolinite, todorokit, bassanit, andydrite, and hydroxyapatite. In this paper, two speech enhancement algorithms (SEAs) based on spectral subtraction (SS) principle have been evaluated for bilateral cochlear implant (BCI) users. Specifically, dual-channel noise power spectral estimation algorithm using power spectral densities (PSD) and cross power spectral density (CPSD) of the observed signals was studied. The enhanced speech signals were obtained using either Dual Channel Non Linear Spectral Subtraction ‘DC-NLSS’ or Dual-Channel Multi-Band Spectral Subtraction ‘DC-MBSS’ algorithms. For performance evaluation, some objective speech assessment tests relying on Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) score and speech Itakura-Saito (IS) distortion measurement were performed to fix the optimal number of frequency band needed in DC-MBSS algorithm. In order to evaluate the speech intelligibility, subjective listening tests were assessed with 50 normal hearing listeners using a specific BCI simulator and with three deafened BCI patients. Experimental results, obtained using French Lafon database corrupted by an additive babble noise at different Signal-to-Noise Ratios (SNR), showed that DC-MBSS algorithm improves speech understanding better than DC-NLSS algorithm for single and multiple interfering noise sources.  相似文献

Many of the datasets encountered in statistics are two-dimensional in nature and can be represented by a matrix. Classical clustering procedures seek to construct separately an optimal partition of rows or, sometimes, of columns. In contrast, co-clustering methods cluster the rows and the columns simultaneously and organize the data into homogeneous blocks (after suitable permutations). Methods of this kind have practical importance in a wide variety of applications such as document clustering, where data are typically organized in two-way contingency tables. Our goal is to offer coherent frameworks for understanding some existing criteria and algorithms for co-clustering contingency tables, and to propose new ones. We look at two different frameworks for the problem of co-clustering. The first involves minimizing an objective function based on measures of association and in particular on phi-squared and mutual information. The second uses a model-based co-clustering approach, and we consider two models: the block model and the latent block model. We establish connections between different approaches, criteria and algorithms, and we highlight a number of implicit assumptions in some commonly used algorithms. Our contribution is illustrated by numerical experiments on simulated and real-case datasets that show the relevance of the presented methods in the document clustering field.  相似文献
