Tungsten carbide nanopowder was prepared via pulsed discharge of bulk tungsten and graphite rods immersed in pure ethanol.
The effect of discharge parameters on the characteristics of final products was investigated. Structural and morphological
characterization of nanopowder was performed by means of X-ray diffraction analysis and transmission electron microscopy.
In order to determine the feasibility of using synthesized material as an electrocatalyst, tungsten carbide nanopowder was
tested for hydrogen evolution. A correlation was found between morphology of nanoparticles, their phase composition and electrocatalytic

Based on the geodesic equation in a static spherically symmetric metric we discuss the rotation curve and gravitational lensing.
The rotation curve determines one function in the metric without assuming Einstein’s equations. Then lensing is considered
in the weak field approximation of general relativity. From the null geodesics we derive the lensing equation. The gravitational
potential U(r) which determines the lensing is directly give by the rotation curve U(r) = −v

Measurements of the dielectric permittivity around the ferroelectric transition of betaine arsenate and around the antiferroelectric one of deuterated betaine arsenate reveal relaxation-type dispersions in the upper MHz-region. The data analysis points to two mechanisms which contribute to the low temperature phase transitions of these crystals. In case of betaine phosphate Raman-spectra demonstrate that besides the antiferroelectric transition at 86 K a second structural transition exists at 81 K. Es sind keine Anhaltspunkte dafür gegeben, daß wesentliche Phytolmengen außer den im Chlorophyll gebundenen in den Knospen oder grünen Blättern vorhanden sind. Sum-frequency mixing (3=1+2) of UV laser radiation (1=266 nm and 213 nm) and tunable coherent infrared light (2=1.2–2.6 m) in lithium borate (LBO) generates radiation at short wavelengths (3=188–242 nm). The UV radiation at 1 is produced by the fourth and fifth harmonic of a pulsed Nd-YAG laser. The infrared light is generated with an optical parametric oscillator of beta barium borate. The phase-matching angle is measured as function of 3 and compared with calculated values. For UV laser radiation at shorter wavelengths (173 nm1213 nm) the calculations predict an extension of the tuning range of the sum-frequency generated at 3 to wavelengths as short as the LBO transmission cutoff at 160 nm. 相似文献

The NMR enhancement factor of a frozenCuMn spin glass has been measured at a temperatureT?T g /5. The measurements were performed as function of static magnetic fields of different directions. A two component model of a spin glass has been outlined. One component being a “system of single spins” and the other one being a “subsystem of clusters”. Both components were attributed to different kinds of interaction being RKKY and dipole interaction respectively. The effective anisotropy field of the single spin system consists of two unidirectional contributionsH a s andH a c , which have been measured for different conditions. We analyse the regularity requirements of the projective components of the resolvent in the theory and correct a recent mathematical result of M. Courbage regarding the impossibility of simultaneous analytic continuation of the collision and creation operators.
