The microwave spectrum of the SiF radical was observed in both 2Π12 and 2Π32 of the ground vibronic state. The SiF radical was produced by a dc discharge either in a SiF4SiH4 mixture or in a transient molecule SiF2 generated by the reaction of SiF4 with heated solid silicon. The latter gave twice as intense a spectrum. A least-squares fit to the observed spectrum showed the rotational constant and the centrifugal distortion constant to be 17 350.2752(63) and 0.03188(13) MHz, respectively, with three standard errors in parentheses applying to the last digits of the constants. The lambda-doubling parameter p0 was found to be negative, ?87.67 MHz, indicating that the 2Σ+ excited state contributions dominate over those of 2Σ?. All four hyperfine coupling constants a, b, c, and d were determined and were employed to discuss the unpaired-electron spin and orbital distributions in the SiF radical.  相似文献

The equations of motion of a test particle moving near the center of a massive rotating ring are derived up to the post-post-Newtonian order of approximation, by using the metric tensor for many body system which is Minkowskian at spatial infinity. Logarithmic divergences due to self-interaction of the ring appear in the equations of motion. These divergences can be removed by the procedure which is similar to the renormalization method in particle physics. In the equations of motion there appears a force directing to the rotation axis and depending on the angular velocity of the ring. This force vanishes when the magnitude of the gravitational constant times the mass of the ring divided by the radius of the ring is about one tenth of the square of the velocity of light. Under this condition it is shown that the relative magnitude of the Coriolis force to the centrifugal force in the equations of motion agrees with the expected one from the equations of motion in a rotating reference frame.  相似文献

Ce 4d-4f resonant angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy was carried out to study the electronic structure of strongly correlated Ce 4f electrons in a quasi-two-dimensional nonmagnetic heavy-fermion system CeCoGe1.2Si0.8. For the first time, dispersive coherent peaks of an f state crossing the Fermi level, the so-called Kondo resonance, are directly observed together with the hybridized conduction band. Moreover, the experimental band dispersion is quantitatively in good agreement with a simple hybridization-band picture based on the periodic Anderson model. The obtained physical quantities, i.e., coherent temperature, Kondo temperature, and mass enhancement, are comparable to the results of thermodynamic measurements. These results manifest an itinerant nature of Ce 4f electrons in heavy-fermion systems and clarify their microscopic hybridization mechanism.  相似文献

Infrared absorption intensities of the fundamental vibrations of liquid H2O have been obtained by measuring transmissions at two sample thicknesses (about 9 and 0.9 μ). The effect of multiple internal reflections on the observed absorptions is examined in terms of thin-film optics. It is shown that this simple method yields precise absorption intensities, without corrections for the effects of multiple internal reflections. The resulting intensities are 89.9 × 103 cm/mmol and 5.91 × 103 cm/mmol for the stretching and bending vibrations, respectively. The latter value was estimated after eliminating the absorption of intermolecular vibrations from the 1400–2400 cm-1 region by means of computer simulation.  相似文献

Titanium carbide formation by the solid–solid reaction on the surface of Ti nanoparticles was studied in situ using a high-resolution transmission electron microscope with a heating stage. The cross-sectional image of the Ti surface was clearly observed. Vacuum-deposited carbon covered the whole the surface of Ti nanoparticles in spite of the partly evaporation on the nanoparticle surface. The diffusion of the carbon atoms inside the Ti nanoparticles depended on the size of the nanoparticles. When the Ti nanoparticle diameter was less than 30 nm, carbon atoms diffused into the Ti nanoparticle and formed TiC. The superstructure of the Ti nanoparticles was observed, which revealed the growth process of TiC to be the diffusion of carbon atoms. For Ti nanoparticles with diameter larger than 30 nm it was observed that diffusion of Ti atoms into the carbon layer was dominant, which resulted in formation of TiC in the carbon layer at the surface of Ti nanoparticles.  相似文献
