Swelling behaviors of poly(4-vinyl phenol) (P4VPh) gel in aqueous tetraalkylammonium chloride (TAACl) solutions were investigated to find a very specific swelling behavior. Especially for the tetrabutylammonium chloride (TBACl) system, P4VPh gel remarkably deswelled with increasing salt concentration (=2.0 M) and then sharply reswelled in a higher concentration region (>/= ca. 2.1 M). A similar swelling profile was also observed in the swelling time-course; upon immersion of a water-swollen P4VPh gel into 2.5 M TBACl solution, the gel first deswelled in an early stage (approximately 0.1 h) and then remarkably reswelled with time. Relative amounts (mol/mol) of TBA cation and water per monomer residue were estimated as ca. 1 and 0 for the deswollen state and 5 and 50 for the reswollen state, respectively. This result, together with those of attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared measurements performed for the gels swollen in various kinds of TAACl and inorganic salt solutions, suggested that in the highly deswollen and almost dehydrated state, phenol rings aggregated with intervening TBA cations, while the aggregation reswelled upon further binding with TBA cations. 相似文献

The enantioselective hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl esters of alpha-amino acids (Phe, Leu, Ala) was accomplished in micelles formed with the surfactants bearing one or two sugar-amide headgroups. The effect of structural variations in such sugar-amide surfactants on the rates and enantioselectivity (kD/kL) for hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl esters of D- and L-phenylalanine hydrogen bromides (D- and L-PheONp) was studied. Both the hydrolysis rate of D-PheONp and the enantioselectivity increased with an increase in the alkyl chain length as well as an increase in the number of the alkyl chains in the maltobionamide-type surfactants. Enantioselectivity also increased with an increase in the sugar chain length from bisgluconamide to bismaltobionamide (by one glucose unit per each sugar chain) in the double-sugar-chain surfactants, but enantioselectivity was no longer influenced by a further increase to bismaltotrionamide. The stereochemistry of the linkage between the sugar units in the sugar chain remarkably affected the enantioselectivity: the maltobionamide-type surfactant, in which the two sugar units are connected by an alpha-1,4-glucosidic linkage, showed high enantioselectivity (kD/kL = 5.5), whereas the surfactant bearing cellobionamide headgroups (beta-1,4-glucosidic linkage) showed no enantioselectivity. Similar trends were observed when p-nitrophenyl esters of D- and L-leucine hydrogen bromides were used as substrates. On the other hand, the rates and enantioselectivity for hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl esters of D- and L-alanine hydrogen bromides were not so largely affected by the structural variations in the sugar-amide surfactants. Additionally, the effects of the surfactant concentration and the reaction temperature on the rates and enantioselectivity for the hydrolysis of D- and L-PheONp were examined. 相似文献

Diastereomeric mixture at C-3 of (9R,10R)-panaxytriol acetonide (3) and (9S,10S)-panaxytriol acetonide (4) were enantioselectively acetylated to give (3R)-acetates (3a-Ac, 4a-Ac) and (3S)-alcohols (3b, 4b) by enzyme mediated-acetylation using CHIRAZYME and vinyl acetate, respectively. Hydrolysis of (3R)-acetate (3a-Ac, 4a-Ac) with CHIRAZYME and phosphate buffer afforded (3R)-alcohols (3a, 4a), respectively. Deprotection of panaxytriol acetonides (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b) gave panaxatriol and its isomers, respectively. Comparison of optical rotation values of the synthetic panaxatriols with that of the natural one confirmed that the absolute configuration of panaxytriol sould be 3R,9R,10R. 相似文献

Aromatic poly(ether-ketone-amide)s were prepared by the palladium-catalyzed polycondensation of aromatic dibromides containing ether ketone units, aromatic diamines, and carbon monoxide. Polymerizations were carried out in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) in the presence of palladium catalyst, triphenylphosphine, and 1,8-diazabicyclo [5,4,0]-7-undecene (DBU), and resulted in poly(ether-ketone-amide)s with inherent viscosities up to 0.82 dL/g under mild conditions. The polymers were quite soluble in strong acid, dipolar aprotic solvents, and pyridine. Thermogravimetry of the polymers showed excellent thermal stability, indicating that 10% weight losses of the polymers were observed in the range above 400°C in nitrogen atmosphere. The glass transition temperatures of the polymers were about 200°C, which are higher than those of poly(ether-ketone) analogues. N-phenyl-α-methylene-β-lactam (PML), a cyclic analog of N,N-disubstituted methacrylamides which do not undergo radical homopolymerization, was synthesized and polymerized with α,α′-azobis (isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) in solution. Poly (PML) (PPML) is readily soluble in tetrahydrofuran, chloroform, pyridine, and polar aprotic solvents but insoluble in toluene, ethyl acetate, and methanol. PPML obtained by radical initiation is highly syndiotactic (rr = 92%), exhibits a glass transition at 180°C, and loses no weight upto 330°C in nitrogen. The kinetics of PML homo-polymerization with AIBN was investigated in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. The rate of polymerization (Rp) can be expressed by Rp = k[AIBN]0.55[PML]1.2 and the overall activation energy has been calculated to be 87.3 kJ/mol. Monomer reactivity ratios in copolymerization of PML (M2) with styrene (M1) are r1 = 0.67 and r2 = 0.41, from which Q and e values of PML are calculated as 0.60 and 0.33, respectively. 相似文献

A new class of polyheterocycles, polybenzodipyrrolediones (PBP), has been synthesized successfully by the two-step polymerization of dibenzylidenebenzodifurandiones with aliphatic diamines. New bislactone monomers, 3,5-dibenzylidene-3,5-dihydro-1H,7H-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]difuran-1,7-dione and 3,7-dibenzylidene-3,7-dihydro-1H,5H-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′]-difuran-1,5-dione, were synthesized from pyromellitic dianhydride and phenylacetic acid. The ring-opening polyaddition reaction of the bislactones with aliphatic diamines in a polar solvent afforded novel polyamides having inherent viscosities of 0.1–1.0 in quantitative yield. The solution polymerization was almost completed within several hours at 80°C, while it required approximately a week to its completion at room temperature. Dimethyl sulfoxide and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone were preferred solvents for the polymerization. The open-chain polyamides were subsequently cyclodehydrated by heating at 240°C to give PBP having high molecular weight. The aliphatic PBP were soluble in hot polar solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, m-cresol, and nitrobenzene. They began to decompose at about 400°C in a nitrogen atmosphere as determined by thermogravimetric analysis. 相似文献

Hydrazinoethanols 1 were reacted with aldehydes 2 and 6 and glutaraldehyde (14) in aqueous solution to give dioxatetraazaperhydroanthracenes 3, 7, 12, and 13 and -perylenes 15 in yields of 19-88 and 42-72%, respectively. Compounds 3, 7, 12, and 15 were deduced by (13)C-NMR spectra to have two C(2) symmetry axes, while compound 12 was shown to have a symmetry axis by X-ray crystallography. The most favorable stereoisomers were consistent with predictions obtained by the semiempirical molecular orbital method AM1. The structure of compound 15 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. 相似文献

A 100% hyperbranched polymer was successfully prepared by using 2‐[4‐(4‐mercaptobutoxy)phenoxy]‐9H‐fluoren‐9‐one as an AB2 monomer in trifluoroacetic acid. The kinetics of the model reaction between 9‐fluorenone and 3‐mercaptopropionic acid was investigated. The reaction obeyed the second‐order kinetics, indicating that the first reaction, that is, the formation of the intermediate from 9‐fluorenone and 3‐mercaptopropionic acid, is considerably slower than the second one, that is, the reaction of the intermediate with 3‐mercaptopropionic acid. On the basis of this finding, a new monomer expected to produce a 100% branched hyperbranched polymer, 2‐[4‐(4‐mercaptobutoxy)phenoxy]‐9H‐fluoren‐9‐one, was designed and prepared. The obtained polymer was characterized by 1H and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy, which confirmed that the polymer was a 100% branched hyperbranched polymer. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
