The Sr 3d X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) spectrum of Sr-containing hydroxyapatite (SHAp) overlaps completely with the P 2p spectrum. Thus, the chemical state identification of Sr in SHAp is a challenging task. In this work, the Sr 3d spectrum was isolated from the overlapping spectra for analyzing the chemical state of Sr using a generic peak-fitting method. The SHAp layers containing various Sr concentrations were produced on a Ti substrate using a chemical treatment process with a calcium phosphate slurry that included Sr (NO3)2. The distribution of the constituent elements changed according to the Sr concentration, implying that the chemical state of Sr varied with concentration. The isolation of the Sr 3d XPS spectrum was conducted via spectral deconvolution using the P 2p spectrum corresponding to HAp. The isolated Sr 3d spectrum revealed that the chemical state of Sr was in SrO and Sr-substituted HAp states, and their ratio varied with the Sr concentration in the layer. The SrO to Sr-substituted HAp ratios affected the Sr ion releasing behavior from the SHAp layer, supporting the validity of the obtained analytical results.  相似文献

Mesoscopic structures of poly(vinyl alcohol)(SINGLEBOND)Congo red (PVA(SINGLEBOND) CR) complexes in aqueous solutions were investigated in terms of dynamic light scattering (DLS) technique. The intensity-intensity time correlation function, g(2)(t), was analyzed with an equation including a single and a stretched exponential function. Two diffusion coefficients, Df (fast) and Ds (slow) were evaluated. Df was converted to the apparent correlation length, ξapp, via the mode-mode coupling hypothesis. The estimated ξapp was insensitive to the sol(SINGLEBOND)to(SINGLEBOND)gel transition but decreased with CR concentration. This change may be related to the electrostatic screening effect. On the other hand, Ds oscillates with increasing CR concentration at a specific PVA concentration range. This explains well the reentrant sol(SINGLEBOND)gel(SINGLEBOND)sol(SINGLEBOND)gel transition behavior observed in the PVA(SINGLEBOND)CR systems. Ds seems to represent the mobility of the PVA(SINGLEBOND)CR complexes, which annihilates at the gel point. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The anionic polymerization of 1,3-butadiene using a novel metalloidal anion initiator, triallylstannyllithium (TALi)-allyllithium (ALi), was studied. The TALi-ALi initiated anionic polymerization of 1,3-butadiene gave the star polymer along with the linear polybutadiene (PBD). The star polymer consisted of three PBD branches and a central tin atom. What is striking is a fact that the number-average molecular weights (Mn) and molecular weight distribution of three PBD branches and linear PBD were almost identical. A reversible chain transfer polymerization mechanism, which includes the equilibrium between tri(macroallyl)-stannyllithium and macroallylic anion, is proposed. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) compounds of chloranilate and 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine have been synthesized, and the structures have been solved by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The crystal structure of [[Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)][Cu(CA)(2)]](n)(1), where H(2)CA = chloranilic acid and terpy = 2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine, consists of two modules, the dimer unit [Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)](2+) and the anionic mononuclear unit [Cu(CA)(2)](2)(-), forming an alternated chain. The chain is stabilized by semicoordinating and additional but efficient secondary bonding interactions. The crystal structure of [[Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)(dmso)(2)][Cu(CA)(2)(dmso)(2)](EtOH)](n)(2), where dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide, consists of solvent molecules and two discrete modules, the dimer unit [Cu(2)(CA)(terpy)(2)(dmso)(2)](2+) and the anionic mononuclear unit [Cu(CA)(2)(dmso)(2)](2)(-). The dimer units form a layer by secondary bonding interactions, and the monomer units and ethanol molecules are introduced between the layers. The magnetic properties of 1 and 2 have been investigated in the temperature range 2.0-300 K. A weak ferromagnetic interaction was observed in 1, J(a) = 2.36 cm(-)(1) and zJ(b) = -0.68 cm(-)(1) while no exchange coupling was observed in 2.  相似文献

A rapid, sensitive and selective high-performance liquid chromatographic method is described for simultaneous determination of eight sulfa drugs in meat and meat products using pre-column derivatization with fluorescamine. The drugs are sulfisomidine, sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine, sulfadimidine, sulfamonomethoxine, sulfamethoxazole, sulfadimethoxine and sulfaquinoxaline. The method includes blender extraction of 3-g samples with chloroform, partition with 3 M hydrochloric acid, derivatization with fluorescamine at pH 3.0 and subsequent high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis on a C18 column with fluorescence detection at an excitation wavelength of 405 nm and an emission wavelength of 495 nm. The drugs were separated with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-2% acetic acid (3:5) at 55 degrees C. The average recovery from samples fortified at 0.1 ng/g was 92.6% with a coefficient of variation of 6.2%. The detection limit was 0.01 ng/g for sulfaquinoxaline and 0.005 ng/g for the other seven drugs. The method was field-tested in a survey of 37 samples including beef (five), pork (seven), chicken (seven), ham (five), sausage (eight), bacon (two) and roast beef (three). Sulfadimidine was detected in one pork sample at the level of 0.295 ng/g and in ham at 0.178 ng/g.  相似文献

Anisotropic morphologies and the phase behaviour of a hydrogen-bonded LC polymer obtained by photopolymerization in two kinds of LC solvent are discussed. The hydrogen-bonded LC monomer, 4-(6-acryloyloxyhexyloxy) benzoic acid (A6OBA), was photopolymerized in 4-cyano-4′-hexyloxybiphenyl (6OCB) and in 4-cyano-4′-undecyloxybiphenyl (11OCB), which show a nematic phase and a smectic A phase, respectively. After photo-polymerization, the LC media were removed by extraction and the pure polymer was observed by scanning electron microscopy. SEM images showed that the polymer possessed fibrous morphology with a fibre diameter of a few micrometers, based on polymerization-induced phase separation. The overall geometries reflected typical LC characteristics such as schlieren and focal-conic fan textures. It was found that the hydrogen bond between benzoic acid groups in the monomer was rigid enough to fix the anisotropic phase-separated structure forming during the early stage of phase separation; however, it could not permanently maintain the fibre structure due to dissociation at elevated temperature. X-ray measurements revealed that a well developed layer structure of the hydrogen-bonded mesogen existed in the polymer obtained from the smectic phase of 11OCB, whereas a polymer layer structure could develop only partially from the nematic phase of 6OCB.  相似文献
