A synthetic route to the protected quaternary α-amino acid 2 with a hydroxylated side chain has been achieved. The key transformations are the diastereoselective substrate-controlled epoxidation of allylic alcohol 4; a highly stereoselective oxidation–reduction protocol, and the excellent regioselective isomerization of the oxazolidinone ring to give an oxazinanone skeleton in derivative 3. The carboxylic acid 2 obtained represents the polar substructure, which is present in myriocin 1.  相似文献

A common strategy for the total syntheses of the protected l-arabino- and l-ribo-C18-phytosphingosine (8 and 9, respectively), HCl salts of ent-2-epi-jaspine B (ent-6) and 3-epi-jaspine B (7) with efficient use of both flexible building blocks 26 and 27 was achieved. The key step of this approach was [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement of allylic trichloroacetimidate 21 and thiocyanate 22, which were derived from the known 2,3:5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-d-mannofuranose 18 as the source of chirality. The side chain functionality was installed utilizing a Wittig reaction.  相似文献

We performed computer modelling of a fast electrical discharge in a nitrogen-filled alumina capillary in order to discover discharge system parameters that may lead to efficient recombination pumping of soft X-ray laser with active medium created by H-like nitrogen ions. The space-time dependences of pinch plasma quantities were found by means of a one-dimensional MHD code. Time dependences of populations of all ionisation states and populations of selected energy levels of lithium-, helium- and hydrogen-like nitrogen ions were evaluated using the FLY code as a post-processor. The population inversion was found at the quantum transition corresponding to the Balmer α-line of N6+ ions and the resulting gain factor was evaluated for different capillary radii, initial pressure, electric current peaks and periods. A gain factor of 1 cm−1 spanning the time interval of 1 ns was found for an optimised arrangement with capillary radius 1.5 mm, peak current 50 kA, quarter period 40 ns and filling gas pressure 0.5 kPa. It is pointed out that even higher values of the gain factor may be achieved with thinner capillaries and shorter current pulses, e.g. a gain factor of 6 cm−1 is achieved if the capillary radius is 0.5 mm, peak current 56 kA, quarter period 15 ns, and filling nitrogen pressure 3.9 kPa.  相似文献

In this paper, we study Lagrangian submanifolds of the nearly Kaehler 6-sphere. We derive a pinching result for the Ricci curvature of such submanifolds thus providing a characterisation of the totally geodesic submanifold. Our pinching result improves a previous result obtained by H. Li.  相似文献

The Lemieux–Johnson oxidation was employed for the cleavage of the carbon–carbon double bond of shikimic acid derivatives. Through this procedure, a series of the sixteen novel (2S,3S,4R)-2,3,4,7-tetrahydroxy-6-oxoheptanals bearing three contiguous stereocentres have been synthesized in excellent yields.  相似文献

Magnetic poly(N‐propargylacrylamide) (PPRAAm) microspheres were prepared by the precipitation polymerization of N‐propargylacrylamide (PRAAm) in a toluene/propan‐2‐ol medium in the presence of magnetic nanoparticles (oleic acid‐coated Fe3O4). The effects of several polymerization parameters, including the polarity of the medium, polymerization temperature, the concentration of monomer, and the amount of magnetite (Fe3O4) in the polymerization feed, were examined. The microspheres were characterized in terms of their morphology, size, particle‐size distribution, and iron content using transmission and scanning electron microscopies (TEM and SEM) and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). A medium polarity was identified in which magnetic particles with a narrow size distribution were formed. As expected, oleic acid‐coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles contributed to the stabilization of the polymerized magnetic microspheres. Alkyne groups in magnetic PPRAAm microspheres were detected by infrared spectroscopy. Magnetic PPRAAm microspheres were successfully used as the anchor to enable a “click” reaction with an azido‐end‐functionalized model peptide (radiolabeled azidopentanoyl‐GGGRGDSGGGY(125I)‐NH2) and 4‐azidophenylalanine using a Cu(I)‐catalyzed 1,3‐dipolar azide‐alkyne cycloaddition reaction in water. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The oxidative polymerization of p‐phenylenediamine with silver nitrate by using various oxidant/monomer mole ratios in aqueous solutions of both acetic and nitric acid was studied experimentally and computationally. The produced micro/nanostructured conducting poly(p‐phenylenediamine)–silver composites, reaching the conductivities >104 S/cm, were characterized by conductivity and density measurements, gel permeation chromatography, transmission electron microscopy, UV–visible, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopies. The highest conductivity was 31,700 S/cm for poly(p‐phenylenediamine) base–silver (81.4 wt % Ag). The unexpected increase of conductivity after deprotonation of polymer component is discussed on the basis of interfacial electrical barriers and their removal. Theoretical study of the mechanism of p‐phenylenediamine oxidation has been based on the AM1 semi‐empirical quantum chemical computations of the heat of formation of the reaction intermediates, taking into account the influence of pH and solvation effects. Quantum chemical predictions of molecular structure of poly(p‐phenylenediamine) were correlated with spectroscopic findings. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The objective of this study was to assess the biological activity of essential oils (EOs) of four Juniperus species obtained via two different distillation methods and their potential as biopesticides. The studied factors were juniper species (Juniperus communis L., J. oxycedrus L., J. pygmaea C. Koch., and J. sibirica Burgsd), plant sex (male (M) and female (F)), and distillation method (hydrodistillation via a standard Clevenger apparatus (ClevA) and semi-commercial (SCom) steam distillation). The hypothesis was that the EO will have differential antioxidant, antimicrobial, and insecticidal activities as a function of plant species, plant sex, and distillation method. The two distillation methods resulted in similar EO composition within a given species. However, there were differences in the EO content (yield) due to the sex of the plant, and also differences in the proportions of some EO components. The concentration of α-pinene, β-caryophyllene, δ-cadinene and δ-cadinol was dissimilar between the EO of M and F plants within all four species. Additionally, M and F plants of J. pygmaea, and J. sibirica had significantly different concentrations of sabinene within the respective species. The EOs obtained via ClevA extraction showed higher antioxidant capacity within a species compared with those from SCom extraction. All of the tested EOs had significant repellent and insecticidal activity against the two aphid species Rhopalosiphum padi (bird cherry-oat aphid) and Sitobion avenae (English grain aphid) at concentrations of the EO in the solution of 1%, 2.5%, and 5%. The tested EOs demonstrated moderate activity against selected pathogens Fusarium spp., Botrytis cinerea, Colletotrichum spp., Rhizoctonia solani and Cylindrocarpon pauciseptatum. The results demonstrate that the standard ClevA would provide comparable EO content and composition in comparison with SCom steam distillation; however, even slight differences in the EO composition may translate into differential bioactivity.  相似文献

Biolocalisation and photochemical properties of novel macrocyclic photosensitisers, guanidiniocarbonyl-substituted tetraphenylporphyrin (1) and sugar-substituted sapphyrin (2) were investigated by spectroscopic methods. Both photosensitisers absorb in far visible region and showed good tumour localisation. Photosensitiser 2 demonstrated significantly larger absolute and relative to normal tissue (T/N) amount in tumour (330 microg g(-1) wet tissue, T/N=19.0) than photosensitiser 1 did (13 microg g(-1) wet tissue, T/N=2.1). According to iodometric and uric acid assays, compound 1 produced large amount of 1O2 (phidelta=0.60-0.68), while compound 2 showed non-significant 1O2 production (phidelta=0.04). The electronic spectroscopic study confirms that only photosensitiser 1 is able to mediate photooxidation of model compounds (BSA, poly(Trp), Tyr, Trp, and GMP) after light irradiation. Pour photochemical activity of compound 2 was explained by its self-aggregation. Raman spectroscopic study indicated that monomerised photosensitiser 2 effectively damaged BSA and calf thymus DNA after light excitation at the conditions of high excess of these macromolecules.  相似文献
