The purpose of this paper is to use a layer potential analysis and the Leray–Schauder degree theory to show an existence result for a nonlinear Neumann–transmission problem corresponding to the Stokes and Brinkman operators on Euclidean Lipschitz domains with boundary data in L p spaces, Sobolev spaces, and also in Besov spaces.  相似文献

Nanocharacterization techniques such as nanoindentation and atomic force microscopy were used to investigate the exterior durability of waterborne coatings improved with inorganic nanosized UV-absorbers. Nanocomposite coatings for exterior uses of wood were formulated with different type of nanoparticles and their performance was evaluated trough artificial aging. Nanoindentation in continuous stiffness mode was used to demonstrate the changes of hardness and Young’s modulus of the coatings after accelerated weathering. The degradation mechanism of the surface coatings was investigated with atomic force microscopy that has provided valuable information on the morphological and microstructural changes of the surface coatings with the artificial aging. Additionally, the glass transition temperature and optical appearance changes were reported. The results obtained have shown that the nanoindentation technique in conjunction with atomic force microscopy can be satisfactorily used for durability investigation and service life prediction of nanocomposite coatings for wood.  相似文献

Summary.  The synthesis and stereochemistry of new 1,3-dioxane derivatives of 1,4-diacetylbenzene are reported. The anancomeric structure of these compounds, the axial orientation of the aryl group for both 1,3-dioxane rings, and the cis and trans isomerism of some of these compounds is discussed considering data of conformational analysis, NMR investigations, and single crystal X-ray diffractometry. Abstract

Thermochromic inks, materials that change color at a certain temperature, are increasingly used on papers and other materials in the areas of design, commercials, and security printing. Pseudo-estrogen bisphenol A (BPA) may be one of their main compounds present in mass fractions of up to several percent. In this work, the mass fractions of BPA in thermochromic prints on seven types of paper were determined. Migration of BPA from the surface of the thermochromic print to artificial sweat solutions was investigated as well. Total amount of BPA in papers with thermochromic prints was determined by an HPLC-UV method with ultrasonic-assisted extraction in methanol developed and validated in this work. Total amount of BPA, which ranged from 0.126 to 0.778?mg/g, was compared with the amounts extracted under the same conditions in two artificial human sweat solutions, which differed in chemical composition, ionic strength, and pH-value. Mass fractions of BPA extracted with artificial sweat solutions were from 0.047 to 0.175?mg/g with respect to the mass of the paper. On average, the mass fraction of BPA was four times less when extracted with artificial sweat solutions than the maximal amount extracted with methanol. The amounts of extracted BPA raise a concern of health risk through dermal exposure to BPA from thermochromic prints on paper.  相似文献

In this paper we obtain an indirect boundary integral method in order to prove existence and uniqueness of the classical solution to a boundary value problem for the Stokes–Brinkman-coupled system, which describes an unbounded Stokes flow past a porous body in terms of Brinkman's model. Therefore, one assumes that the flow inside the body is governed by the continuity and Brinkman equations. A new diazine tetratopic helicand, H4L, is obtained from 3-formylsalicylic acid and hydrazine. The reaction between H4L and cobalt(II) perchlorate, iron(III) perchlorate, and sodium carbonate leads to triple-stranded tetranuclear anionic helicates, [L3Co(II)2Fe(III)2]2-, which are connected through Na ions, resulting in chiral coordination polymers, [L3Na2Fe2Co2(H2O)4(EtOH)2].3H2O.  相似文献

We have developed here a superior approach based on high‐resolution (HR) mass spectrometry (MS) for monitoring the changes occurring with development and aging in the composition and structure of cerebellar gangliosidome. The experiments were focused on the comparative screening and structural analysis of gangliosides expressed in fetal and aged cerebellum by Orbitrap MS with nanoelectrospray ionization (nanoESI) in the negative ion mode. The employed ultrahigh‐resolution MS platform allowed the discrimination, without the need of previous separation, of 159 ions corresponding to 120 distinct species in the native ganglioside mixtures from fetal and aged cerebellar biopsies, many more than detected before, when MS platforms of lower resolution were employed. A number of gangliosides, in particular polysialylated belonging to GT, GQ, GP, and GS classes, modified by O‐fucosylation, O‐acetylation, or CH3COO? were discovered here, for the first time in human cerebellum. These components, found differently expressed in fetal and aged tissues, indicated that the ganglioside profile in cerebellum is development stage‐ and age‐specific. Following the fragmentation analysis by high‐energy collision‐induced dissociation (HCD) tandem MS (MS/MS), we have also observed that the intimate structure of certain compounds has not changed during the development and aging of the brain, an aspect which could open new directions in the investigation of ganglioside biomarkers in cerebellar tissue.  相似文献
