A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method with ultraviolet-visible detection has been established and validated for the determination of five phenothiazines: thiazinamium methylsulfate, promazine hydrochloride, chlorpromazine hydrochloride, thioridazine hydrochloride, and promethazine hydrochloride in human urine. Optimum separation was obtained on a 64.5 cm x 75 microm bubble cell capillary using a buffer containing 150 mM tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and 25% acetonitrile at pH 8.2, with temperature and voltage of 25 degrees C and 20 kV, respectively. Naphazoline hydrochloride was used as an internal standard. Field-amplified sample injection (FASI) has been applied to improve the sensitivity of the detection. Considering the influence of parameters affecting the on-line preconcentration (nature of preinjection plug, sample solvent composition, injection times, and injection voltage) and due to the significant interactions among them, in this paper we propose for the first time the application of a multivariate approach to carry out the study. The optimized conditions were as follows: preinjection plug of water for 7 s at 50 mbar, electrokinetic injection for 40 s at 6.2 kV, and 32 microm of H3PO4 in the sample solvent. Also, a solid-phase extraction (SPE) procedure is developed to obtain low detection limits and an adequate selectivity for urine samples. The combination of SPE and FASI-CZE-UV allows adequate linearities and recoveries, low detection limits (from 2 to 5 ng/mL), and satisfactory precisions (3.0-7.2% for an intermediate RSD %).  相似文献

Zinc bromide-catalyzed heterolysis reactions of glycol ether radicals were studied by laser flash photolysis methods, which gave the binding constants and catalytic rate constants for fragmentation. The Lewis acid-catalyzed heterolysis reactions mimic a putative reaction pathway in diol dehydratase-catalyzed reactions and are potentially useful polar processes for incorporation into conventional radical chain reaction sequences. Novel [CrIII(amp)(bipy)(Cl)] (1) (H2amp = N-(hydroxyphenyl)salicyldimine; bipy = 2,2-bipyridyl) and [CrIII(app)(bipy)(Cl)]+ (2) (H2app = N-(hydroxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxaldimine; bipy = 2,2-bipyridyl) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by physico-chemical methods. Complexes 1 and 2 have been employed as catalysts in the oxidation of both saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons using tert-butylhydroperoxide (t-BuOOH). The significance of the results with respect to oxo-functionalization of C-H bonds both in unsaturated and saturated hydrocarbons is noted.  相似文献

2,4,6-Triaryl(thia)pyrylium salts have been used as electron-transfer photosensitizers for the cycloreversion of the oxetane ring system. The radical cation of 2,3-diphenyl-4-hydroxymethyloxetane (1) undergoes stepwise splitting via initial O-C2 cleavage. Spin and charge in the resulting intermediate are located in the oxygen and carbon atoms, respectively. Subsequent intramolecular nucleophilic attack produces 2,3-diphenyl-4-hydroxytetrahydrofuran (4a). Formation of this product occurs in the submicrosecond time scale, competing with C3-C4 cleavage to the detectable (lambdamax = 470 nm) trans-stilbene radical cation.  相似文献

Cycloreversion of 2-(p-cyanophenyl)-4-methyl-3-phenyloxetane (1) is achieved using 1-methoxynaphthalene (2) as electron-transfer photosensitizer. The experimental results are consistent with the reaction taking place from the singlet excited state of the sensitizer. Ring splitting of the radical anion 1*- occurs with cleavage of O-C2 and C3-C4 bonds, leading to products (acetaldehyde and p-cyanostilbene) different from the reagents used in the Paterno-Büchi synthesis of 1. The olefin radical anion involved in the electron-transfer process has been detected by means of laser flash photolysis.  相似文献

Summary. The reaction of 2-chloroisobutyrophenones and nitromethanide anion gives stereoselectively (E)-3-nitro allylic alcohols. The Gibbs free enthalpies of reaction in DMSO for carbanion addition, epoxide formation, and rearrangement to 3-nitro allylic alcohol, as elementary steps for the reaction, were estimated from corresponding neutral gas reactions and using a thermodynamical approach to the transfer of gaseous compounds to DMSO. A criterion for assigning the sign of affinity of liquid compounds to DMSO was developed on the basis of the Gibbs enthalpies of liquefaction. The information obtained on reaction rate and thermodynamic viability of the steps indicates that carbanion addition is the rate-determining step.In memory of Prof. Dr. M. The photophysical properties of closely-coupled, binuclear complexes formed by connecting two ruthenium(II) tris(2,2'-bipyridine) complexes via an alkynylene group differ significantly from those of the relevant mononuclear complex. In particular, the energy of the first triplet excited state is lowered relative to the parent complex, because of the presence of the alkynylene substituent, while the triplet lifetime is prolonged, in part, because of extended electron delocalization. We now report that the triplet lifetime is also affected by the nature of the spectator 2,2'-bipyridyl ligands. Thus, replacing the parent 2,2'-bipyridine ligands with the corresponding 4,4'-dinitro-substituted ligands serves to decrease the luminescence yield and lifetime. With the corresponding carboxylate ester, the luminescence yield and lifetime are increased. Perdeuteration of the parent 2,2'-bipyridine ligands also leads to a modest increase in the luminescence yield. Such observations are indicative of electronic coupling between the various metal-to-ligand, charge-transfer excited triplet states. Temperature dependence studies confirm that these excited states are closely spaced and thermally accessible at ambient temperature. For some of the binuclear complexes, the quantum yield for formation of the lowest-energy triplet state is significantly less than unity.  相似文献
