The semi-micro estimation of halide derivatives using a method previou'ly described, is reported.The procedure is based on the hydrolysis with normal solution of potassium hydroxyde in diethylene glycol at 150--160° C. The hydrolysis is carried out in tubes scaled either with a flame or simply with a rubber stopper, according to the case, and is followed by the estimation of the halide thus formed.The method is described and the results obtained with several compounds are given.Application of the method to the qualitative distinction between aliphatic and aromatic halide derivatives is indicated. 相似文献

Abstract Photodynamic therapy (PDT), the use of light-activated drugs, is a promising treatment of cancer as well as several nonmalignant conditions. However, the efficacy of one-photon (1-gamma) PDT is limited by hypoxia, which can prevent the production of the cytotoxic singlet oxygen ((1)O(2)) species, leading to tumor resistance to PDT. To solve this problem, we propose an irradiation protocol based on a simultaneous, two-photon (2-gamma) excitation of the photosensitizer (Ps). Excitation of the Ps triplet state leads to an upper excited triplet state T(n) with distinct photochemical properties, which could inflict biologic damage independent of the presence of molecular oxygen. To determine the potential of a 2-gamma excitation process, Jurkat cells were incubated with zinc or copper phthalocyanine tetrasulfonate (ZnPcS(4) or CuPcS(4)). ZnPcS(4) is a potent (1)O(2) generator in 1-gamma PDT, while CuPcS(4) is inactive under these conditions. Jurkat cells incubated with either ZnPcS(4) or CuPcS(4) were exposed to a 670 nm continuous laser (1-gamma PDT), 532 nm pulsed-laser light (2-gamma PDT), or a combination of 532 and 670 nm (2-gamma PDT). The efficacy of ZnPcS(4) to photoinactivate the Jurkat cells decreased as the concentration of oxygen decreased for both the 1-gamma and 2-gamma protocols. In the case of CuPcS(4), cell phototoxicity was measured only following 2-gamma irradiation, and its efficacy also decreased at a lower oxygen concentration. Our results suggest that for CuPcS(4) the T(n) excited state can be populated after 2-gamma irradiation at 532 nm or the combination of 532 and 670 nm light. Dependency of phototoxicity upon aerobic conditions for both 1-gamma and 2-gamma PDT suggests that reactive oxygen species play an important role in 1-gamma and 2-gamma PDT. 相似文献

The oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) to ethylene over a perovskite titanate catalyst in a fixed bed reactor was studied experimentally and numerically. The two-dimensional steady state model accounted for separate energy equations for the gas and solid phases coupled with an experimental kinetic model. A lumped kinetic model containing four main species CH4, O2, COx (CO2, CO), and C2 (C2H4 and C2H6) was used with a plug flow reactor model as well. The results from the model agreed with the experimental data. The model was used to analyze the influence of temperature and feed gas composition on the conversion and selectivity of the reactor performance. The analytical results indicate that the conversion decreases, whereas, C2 selectivity increases by increasing gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) and the methane conversion also decreases by increasing the methane to oxygen ratio. 相似文献

In the present work, we describe the properties of a bifunctional redox-labeled bioconjugate at electrode surfaces mediating the electron transfer across the electrode-electrolyte interface. We show that the assembly of ferrocene-labeled streptavidin on biotinylated electrodes results in a reproducible unidirectional current flow in the presence of electron donors in solution. Such rectifying films were built up by spontaneous binding of tetrameric streptavidin molecules to biotin centers immobilized on the electrode surface. Due to the high affinity of biotin to streptavidin, such bifunctional films completely bind any biotinylated compounds. The charge transport between donors in solution and the Au electrode is mediated by the ferrocene moieties, allowing us to develop a molecular rectifier. Our experimental results suggest that such redox-labeled proteins with a high binding capacity constitute a promising alternative to organic compounds used in molecular electronics. 相似文献

3,4,5-Triamino-1,2,4-triazole (guanazine, 1) can be readily methylated with methyl iodide yielding methylguanazinium iodide (2). Salts containing the novel methylguanazinium cation with energetic anions were synthesised by metathesis reactions with silver azide (3), silver nitrate (4), silver perchlorate (5), sodium 5,5'-azotetrazolate (6), silver 5-nitrotetrazolate (7) and silver dinitramide (8), yielding a new family of heterocycle-based salts, which were fully characterised by analytical (mass spectrometry and elemental analysis) and spectroscopic methods (IR, Raman and NMR). In addition, the molecular structures of all compounds were confirmed by X-ray analysis, revealing extensive hydrogen-bonding in the solid state and densities between 1.399 (3) and 1.669 g cm(-3) (5). The hydrogen-bonded ring motifs are discussed in the formalism of graph-set analysis for hydrogen-bond patterns and compared to each other. Preliminary sensitivity testing of the crystalline compounds indicate surprisingly low sensitivities to both friction and impact, the highest friction and shock sensitivity being found for the perchlorate (5, 220 N) and the dinitramide (8, 20 J) salts, respectively. In addition, DSC analysis was used to assess the thermal stabilities of the compounds: 3-6 melt above 200 degrees C with concomitant decomposition, whereas 7 and 8 have clearly defined melting points at 162 and 129 degrees C, respectively, and with decomposition occurring about 30 degrees C above the melting point. Lastly all compounds have positive calculated heats of formation between 336 (4) and 4070 kJ kg(-1) (6) and calculated detonation velocities in the range between 8330 (7) and 8922 m s(-1) (6) making them of interest as new highly energetic materials with low sensitivity. 相似文献

This work presents a sol‐gel based biosensor for atrazine determination which has been obtained by introducing the enzyme polyphenol oxidase from apple tissue in a sol‐gel matrix. Apple tissue acts as a molecular recognition element. Atrazine is an inactive compound electrochemically; redox coupling of dopamine was used for studying atrazine behavior. Atrazine was determined by monitoring the inhibition power of polyphenol oxidase activity. The measurements were performed in 0.1 M KH2PO4‐NaOH buffer (pH 7.5). The effect of various experimental parameters such as pH, concentration of buffer, concentration of dopamine, incubation time and matrix composition has been investigated for optimum analytical performance. The biosensor consisted of 10.3% (w/w) of apple tissue. The bioelectrode exhibits a linear response for dopamine and atrazine concentrations in the range of 5.66 × 10?6?2.27 × 10?3M and 1 × 10?5 ?1 × 10?4 M with a detection limit of 4.2 × 10?6 and 5.5 × 10?6 M, respectively. A correlation coefficient of 0.9945 and a relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) of 3.29% for dopamine, 0.9944 and 3.69% for a trazine were achieved. 相似文献

1-methyl-5-aminotetrazole (4, MAT) can easily be protonated by strong acids, yielding known but largely uninvestigated 1-methyl-5-aminotetrazolium nitrate (4a) and perchlorate (4b). Methylation, rather than protonation, of 4 with iodomethane followed by the exchange of the iodide (5a) for nitrate (5b), perchlorate (5c), azide (5d), and dinitramide (5e) yields a new family of energetic methylated aminotetrazole salts. In all cases, stable salts were obtained and fully characterized by vibrational (IR, Raman) spectroscopy, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, and X-ray structure determination. Compounds 4a, 4b, and 5c crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, whereas compounds 5b and 5e crystallize in the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) and 5d in the orthorhombic Fddd. Initial safety testing (impact, friction, and electrostatic sensitivity) and thermal stability measurements (DSC) were also carried out. The MAT salts all exhibit good thermal stabilities (decomposition above 150 degrees C). The constant volume energies of combustion (DeltacU) of 4a, 5b, 5d, and 5e were determined to be -2510(10) cal/g, -3190(30) cal/g, -4500(100) cal/g, and -2570(70) cal/g, respectively, experimentally using oxygen bomb calorimetry. From the experimentally determined density, chemical composition and energies of formation (back calculated from the heats of combustion), the detonation pressures and velocities of 4a (8100 m/s, 25.6 GPa), 5b (7500 m/s, 20.2 GPa), 5d (8200 m/s, 21.7 GPa), and 5e (7500 m/s, 21.2 GPa) were predicted using the EXPLO5 code. 相似文献

This research aims to synthesize a specific and efficient sorbent to use in the extraction of apixaban from human plasma samples and its determination by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. High specific surface area of metal-organic framework, magnetic property of iron oxide nanoparticles, selectively of molecular imprinted polymer toward the analyte, and the combination of dispersive solid-phase extraction method with a sensitive analysis system provided an efficient analytical method. In this study, first, a molecularly imprinted polymer combined with magnetic metal organic framework nanocomposite was prepared and then characterized using different techniques. Then the sorbent particles were used for selective extraction of the analyte from plasma samples. The efficiency of the method was improved by optimizing effective parameters. According to the validation results, wide linear range (1.02–200 ng mL−1), acceptable coefficient of determination (0.9938), low limit of detection (0.32 ng mL−1) and limit of quantification (1.02 ng mL−1), high extraction recovery (78%), and good precision (relative standard deviations ≤ 2.9% for intra- (n = 6) and interday (n = 6) precisions) were obtainable using the proposed method. In this paper, we analyse the Wheeler–DeWitt equation in the third quantized formalism. We will demonstrate that for certain operator ordering, the early stages of the universe are dominated by quantum fluctuations, and the universe becomes classical at later stages during the cosmic expansion. This is physically expected, if the universe is formed from quantum fluctuations in the third quantized formalism. So, we will argue that this physical requirement can be used to constrain the form of the operator ordering chosen. We will explicitly demonstrate this to be the case for two different cosmological models. 相似文献
