We have performed a series of highly accurate calculations between CO2 and the 20 naturally occurring amino acids for the investigation of the attractive noncovalent interactions. Different nucleophilic groups present in the amino acid structures were considered (α-NH2, COOH, side groups), and the stronger binding sites were identified. A database of accurate reference interactions energies was compiled as computed by explicitly-correlated coupled-cluster singles-and-doubles, together with perturbative triples extrapolated to the complete-basis-set limit. The CCSD(F12)(T)/CBS reference values were used for comparing a variety of popular density functionals with different basis sets. Our results show that most density functionals with the triple-zeta basis set def2-TZVPP align with the CCSD(F12)(T)/CBS reference values, but errors range from 0.1 kcal/mol up to 1.0 kcal/mol.  相似文献

Allenes (R2C=C=CR2) have been traditionally perceived to feature localized orthogonal π-bonds between the carbon centres. We have carried out quantum-mechanical studies of the organometallic allenes envisioned by the isolobal replacement of the terminal CH2 groups by the d8 Fe(CO)4 fragment. Our studies have identified two organometallic allenes viz. D2d symmetric [(μ-C)(Fe(CO)4)2] ( 2 ) and D3 symmetric [(μ-C)(Fe(CO)4)2] ( 3 ) with trigonal bipyramidal coordination at the Fe atoms. Compound 2 features the bridging carbon atom in an equatorial position with respect to the ligands on the TM centre, while 3 features the central carbon atom in an axial position. The bis-pseudoallylic anionic delocalisation proposed in the C2-C1-C3 spine of organic allene is retained in the organometallic allene 2 , and is transformed to a typical three-centre bis-allylic anionic delocalisation in the organometallic allene 3 . The topological analysis of electron density also indicates a bis-allylic anionic type delocalisation in the organometallic allenes. The quantitative bonding analysis using the EDA-NOCV method suggests a transition from classical electron-sharing bonding between the central carbon atom and the terminal groups in 1 to donor-acceptor bonding in 3 . Meanwhile, both electron-sharing and donor-acceptor bonding models are found to be probable heuristic bonding representations in the organometallic allene 2 .  相似文献

Small molecular biothiols, cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hcy) and glutathione (GSH), play important roles in organisms, and their concentration levels are indicative of some human diseases. Herein we report an organic dye-conjugated β-diketonate-Eu3+ complex, [Eu(NBD-keto)3(DPBT)] (NBD-keto: 7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD)-conjugated to 1,1,1,2,2-pentafluoro-5-phenyl-3,5-pentanedionate through a “O” ether bond; DPBT: 2-(N,N-diethylanilin-4-yl)-4,6-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazine), which acts as a unique luminescent probe for detecting and discriminating biothiols. [Eu(NBD-keto)3(DPBT)] itself is not luminescent due to intramolecular interactions between NBD and β-diketonate-Eu3+ moieties. Upon reaction with biothiols, the β-diketonate-Eu3+ complex [Eu(keto)3(DPBT)] is generated, which emits long-lived red emission at 610 nm. Meanwhile, three biothiol-substituted NBD derivatives that exhibit different luminescence behaviors, green emissive (short-lived) NBD-NR (R=Cys or Hcy) at 540 nm and non-luminescent NBD-SR (R=GSH), are also generated. These luminescence response behaviors allow time-gated and steady-state luminescence modes to be combined for detecting total biothiols and discriminating GSH and Cys/Hcy. Using this probe, the quantitative detection and discrimination of GSH and Cys/Hcy in lysis solutions of HeLa cells were realized, which revealed the potential of the probe for biomedical applications.  相似文献

Our research group has recently defined two new aromaticity indexes based on the analysis of electron delocalization in aromatic species using the quantum theory of atoms-in-molecules. One of these indexes is the para-delocalization index (PDI) that measures the electronic delocalization between para-related carbon atoms in six-membered rings. In this paper, we show that this index can be partitioned into individual molecular orbital contributions. We have applied this PDI decomposition to several polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons showing that this partitioning provides new insight into the origin of aromaticity.  相似文献

The synthesis of novel tricyclic 1,2,3-triazoles starting from cyclic epoxides via the sequential azidolysis, propargylation and 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition is described. Derivatization by N-arylation reaction and the synthesis of enantiomerically pure compounds is also reported. Some of these compounds exhibit significant affinity for the sigma-1 receptor.  相似文献

The AlCl3-catalyzed acetylation of 1,2-hydrophenylated [60]fullerenes, HC60-Ar, proceeded via a sequential manner involving the acetylation at the hydrogenated fullerene carbon, the following intramolecular cyclization with the adjacent aryl group, the facile loss of water, and the second acetylation of the generated indenylidene double bond. However, the similar reaction of the hydrobiphenylated analogue brought about the normal acetylation at the terminal aromatic ring prior to the same sequential reactions as did hydrophenylated fullerenes.  相似文献

In this work, we analyze a series of o-hydroxyaryl aldehydes to discuss the interrelation between the resonance-assisted hydrogen bond (RAHB) formation and the aromaticity of the adjacent aromatic rings. As compared to the nonaromatic reference species (malonaldehyde), the studied compounds can be separated into two groups: first, the set of systems that have a stronger RAHB than that of the reference species, for which there is a Kekulé structure with a localized double CC bond linking substituted carbon atoms; and second, the systems having a weaker RAHB than that of the reference species, for which only pi-electrons coming from a localized Clar pi-sextet can be involved in the RAHB. As to aromaticity, there is a clear reduction of aromaticity in the substituted ipso ring for the former group of systems due to the formation of the RAHB, while for the latter group of species only a slight change of local aromaticity is observed in the substituted ipso ring.  相似文献

Isolated and microsolvated protonated ethanol clusters, (EtOH)qH+-Ln with L = Ar and N2, are characterized by infrared photodissociation (IRPD) spectroscopy in the 3 microm range and quantum chemical calculations. For comparison, also the spectrum of the protonated methanol dimer, (MeOH)2H+, is presented. The IRPD spectra carry the signature of H-bonded (EtOH)qH+ chain structures, in which the excess proton is either strongly localized on one or (nearly) equally shared between two EtOH molecules, corresponding to Eigen-type ion cores (EtOH2+ for q = 1, 3) or Zundel-type ion cores (EtOH-H+-HOEt for q = 2, 4), respectively. In contrast to neutral (EtOH)q clusters, no cyclic (EtOH)qH+ isomers are detected in the size range investigated (q < or = 4), indicative of the substantial impact of the excess proton on the properties of the H-bonded ethanol network. The acidity of the two terminal OH groups in the (EtOH)qH+ chains decreases with the length of the chain (q). Comparison between (ROH)qH+ with R = CH3 and C2H5 shows that the acidity of the terminal O-H groups increases with the length of the aliphatic rest (R). The most stable (EtOH)qH+-Ln clusters with n < or = 2 feature intermolecular H-bonds between the inert ligands and the two available terminal OH groups of the (EtOH)qH+ chain. Asymmetric microsolvation of (EtOH)qH+ with q = 2 and 4 promotes a switch from Zundel-type to Eigen-type cores, demonstrating that the fundamental structural motif of the (EtOH)qH+ proton wire sensitively depends on the environment. The strength of the H-bonds between L and (EtOH)qH+ is shown to provide a rather sensitive probe of the acidity of the terminal OH groups.  相似文献
