Various aryl‐, alkenyl‐, and/or alkyllithium species reacted smoothly with aryl and/or benzyl ethers with cleavage of the inert C?O bond to afford cross‐coupled products, catalyzed by commercially available [Ni(cod)2] (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene) catalysts with N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands. Furthermore, the coupling reaction between the aryllithium compounds and aryl ammonium salts proceeded under mild conditions with C?N bond cleavage in the presence of a [Pd(PPh3)2Cl2] catalyst. A novel polymer, poly( 1 ) containing benzoxazine and phenyleneethynylene moieties in the main chain with number‐average molecular weights ranging from 1400 to 9800 was obtained quantitatively by the Sonogashira–Hagihara coupling polymerization of the corresponding iodophenyl‐ and ethynylphenyl‐substituted monomer 1 . Poly( 1 ) was heated at 200 °C under N2 for 2 h to obtain the cured polymer, poly( 1 )′ via the ring‐opening polymerization of the benzoxazine moieties. The structures of the polymer before and after curing were confirmed by 1H‐NMR, IR, and UV–vis absorption and reflectance spectroscopies. Poly( 1 )′ was thermally more stable than monomer 1 and poly( 1 ). A specimen was prepared from a mixture of poly( 1 ) and phenol‐diaminodiphenylmethane type benzoxazine 2 by heating at 200 °C for 2 h under N2. The poly( 1 )/ 2 resin was thermally stable than bisphenol‐A type benzoxazine resin 3 . Poly( 1 ) exhibited XRD peaks corresponding to the d‐spacings of 1.26–0.98 and 0.40 nm, assignable to the repeating monomer unit and alignment of polymer molecules, respectively. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Organo(trialkyl)silanes have several advantages, including high stability, low toxicity, good solubility, easy handling, and ready availability compared with heteroatom-substituted silanes. However, methods for the cross-coupling of organo(trialkyl)silanes are limited, most probably because of their exceeding robustness. Thus, a practical method for the cross-coupling of organo(trialkyl)silanes has been a long-standing challenging research target. This article discusses how aryl(trialkyl)silanes can be used in cross-coupling reactions. A pioneering example is CuII catalytic conditions with the use of electron-accepting aryl- or heteroaryl(triethyl)silanes and aryl iodides. The reaction forms biaryls or teraryls. This design concept can be extended to Pd/CuII-catalyzed cross-coupling polymerization reactions between such silanes and aryl bromides or chlorides and to CuI-catalyzed alkylation using alkyl halides. 相似文献

To prepare cross‐linked silicone (silicone rubber) particles in an aqueous medium, we investigated two synthesis methods involving a miniemulsion system. The first method was based on cationic ring‐opening polymerization of cyclic siloxane, which is a common synthetic route for linear silicone oil and uses octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) as the monomer and dimeric D4 (bis‐D4) as the cross‐linker. Although this method produces silicone particles, the particles do not remain in the particulate state after drying because of low cross‐linking density. The polymerization mechanism of this method was also investigated, which proceeds under the ring‐opening reaction of D4 in monomer droplets and upon polycondensation of hydrolyzed D4, which occurs in the water phase (ie, outside the monomer droplets). This mechanism implied that introducing the cross‐linking structure into particles is difficult because of the low solubility of bis‐D4 in water. To overcome these difficulties, we demonstrated a second method of preparing silicone particles based on the thiol‐Michael addition reaction between thiol‐terminated silicone oil and triacrylate in miniemulsion systems. Transmission electron microscopy images indicated that the silicone particles obtained in the particulate state upon drying and the aggregates of these particles showed elasticity. 相似文献

A convenient and industrially scalable method for synthesis of homogeneous nanocomposite films comprising poly(styrene‐stat‐butyl acrylate) and nanodimensional graphene oxide (GO) or reduced GO (rGO) is presented. Importantly, the nanocomposite latex undergoes film formation at ambient temperature, thus alleviating any need for high temperature or high pressure methods such as compression molding. The method entails synthesis of an aqueous nanocomposite latex via miniemulsion copolymerization relying on nanodimensional GO sheets as sole surfactant, followed by ambient temperature film formation resulting in homogeneous film. For comparison, a similar latex obtained by physical mixing of a polymer latex with an aqueous GO dispersion results in severe phase separation, illustrating that the miniemulsion approach using GO as surfactant is key to obtaining homogeneous nanocomposite films. The α-phosphonovinyl anions, generated in situ from treatment of β-hetero-substituted vinyl-phosphonates 1a-c with LDA (or LTMP), were trapped with various electrophiles such as chlorotriorganosilanes, chlorotrimethylgermane, chlorotriorganotins, dimethyl disulfide, and halogen to afford the corresponding β-hetero-substituted α-functionalized vinylphosphonates 2–14 in good to excellent yields. The Friedel-Crafts reaction of α-(silyl) or α-(germyl)phosphonoketene dithioacetals 2, 9 or 4 with acid chlorides gave α-acylated phosphonoketene dithioacetals 15–19 in 53–91 % yields. The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of β-ethoxy-α-(tributylstannyl)vinylphosphonate 13 with a variety of organic halides (R = acyl, allyl, aryl etc.) provided β-ethoxy-α-substituted vinylphosphonates 20–25 in good to moderate yields. The palladium-mediated cross-coupling reaction of α-(iodo)-vinyl-phosphonates 7, 14 with terminal acetylenes afforded α-alkynylated vinylphosphonates 26–29 in 69–83 % yields. 相似文献

Considering the application potentials of organic materials possessing both conducting and ferromagnetic functions in various electronic devices, an attempt was made to prepare conducting polyaniline (PANI) layered magnetic nano composite polymer particles. Two routes were used to modify magnetic Fe3O4 core particles. In one route, seeded emulsion polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) was carried out in presence of nano‐sized Fe3O4 core particles. In another route, cross‐linker ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (EGDM) was used in addition to MMA. The modified composite particles were named as Fe3O4/PMMA and Fe3O4/P(MMA‐EGDM), respectively. Finally, seeded chemical oxidative polymerization of aniline was carried out in the presence of Fe3O4/PMMA and Fe3O4/P(MMA‐EGDM) composite seed particles to obtain Fe3O4/PMMA/PANI and Fe3O4/P(MMA‐EGDM)/PANI composite polymer particles. The modification of Fe3O4 core particles was confirmed by electron micrographs, FTIR, UV–visible spectra, X‐ray photoelectron spectra, X‐ray diffraction pattern and thermogravimetric analyses. A comparative study showed that crosslinking of intermediate shell improved the magnetic susceptibility and electrical conductivity of PANI layered magnetic nano composite particles. Abstract Three cases are described where chirality is recognized by achiral molecules, where chirality is induced into achiral compounds through interactions with chiral compounds, and lastly where induced chirality in the solid-state is utilized for an enantio-selective photoreaction. In the first instance, the thermodynamically and kinetically preferred diastereoisomer of an optically labile chromium complex depended on the nature of the achiral solvent. In the second case, for the first time 1,2-chloroethane was trapped and observed in a chiral near-eclipsed form and 1-chloropropane in the truly eclipsed form at room temperature in a 1:1 inclusion complex with an optically active host molecule. Finally, induced chirality in a prochiral compound in the solid-state was successfully employed in an enantio-selective photoreaction.
