An apparatus consisting of a superconducting solenoid magnet, cylindrical drift-chambers, and two arrays of lead-glass ?erenkov counters has been used at the CERN ISR to study the production of e+e? pairs of invariant mass above 6.5 GeV/c2. Cross sections for the continuum and the ? family of resonances are presented, as well as the mean transverse momentum 〈pT〉 of the electron-positron pairs in the continuum and resonance region.  相似文献

New Tetrathiocyanato Diamine Chromiates with Tertiary Aliphatic Amines Three new Reinecke salt like complexes: [Cr(NCS)4(amine)2]? were obtained by means of substitution reactions of anhydrous K3[Cr(NCS)6] with triethyl-, tripropyl-, and tributylamine, respectively, without solvent. The formulae of the new complex anions were established by preparation of 63 derivatives with the hydrochlorides of some amines and alkaloides, with metal ions and cobalt(III) amine bases, respectively. The electronic and i.r. spectra of some derivatives were recorded. Some structural problems were discussed on the basis of spectral data.  相似文献

-rays are measured in coincidence with the dissipative complex fragments from the35Cl +64Ni reaction at 7.7 A MeV. Theoretical -ray coincidence spectra are determined through a fitting procedure using the contribution of the excited fragment statistical -decay calculated by means of the CASCADE code. Whereas the expected statistical spectra fit very well the data in the energy regionE =2 to 8 MeV, above this energy another emission mechanism in addition to the statistical decay has to be considered in order to reproduce the experimental spectra. Simulations based on the Vlasov equation suggest that this emission could come from the decay of dipole strength excited in the intermediate dinuclear system.The authors are greatly indebted with A. Boiano, A. Buccheri, M. Cipriano, F. Pagano and R. Rocco for their assistance during the set up of the experimental apparatus. Dr. J. This paper extends the full convergence of the steepest descent method with a generalized Armijo search and a proximal regularization to solve minimization problems with quasiconvex objective functions on complete Riemannian manifolds. Previous convergence results are obtained as particular cases and some examples in non-Euclidian spaces are given. In particular, our approach can be used to solve constrained minimization problems with nonconvex objective functions in Euclidian spaces if the set of constraints is a Riemannian manifold and the objective function is quasiconvex in this manifold.  相似文献

It has been demonstrated in this work that the exact solution for the displacement field may be also written in a number of alternative ways involving contributions of the nodal rotations including \({{\bf u} = \sum_{i=1}^N I_i \left[ {\bf u}_i + \frac 1 N ( {\varvec \theta} - {\varvec \theta}_i ) \times {\bf R}_i \right]}\), where R i are the beam nodal positions.  相似文献

We investigate the formation and the decay of heavy systems which are above the fission barrier. By using a microscopic simulation of constrained molecular dynamics (CoMD) on Au + Au collision, we observe that composite states stay for a very long time before decaying by fission. A large solid-angle apparatus consisting of a superconducting solenoid magnet, cylindrical drift chambers and two arrays of lead-glass counters was used to examine particles associated with a high transverse momentum trigger in p-p collisions with three √s values at the CERN ISR. The trigger was given by energy deposition in lead-glass arrays centred at 90°. The trigger transverse momentum range covered was 3 < pT trig < 11 GeVc. Results are given for pout for both individual charged particles, and also for the sum of charged particle momenta in the hemisphere opposite to the trigger. Mean values are then deduced for the parton transverse momentum kT, and for the jet fragmentation momentum jT.  相似文献

A series of cationic and neutral p−Br and p−NO2 pyridine substituted Eu(III) and Gd(III) coordination complexes serve as versatile synthetic intermediates. Nucleophilic aromatic substitution occurs readily at the para position under mild conditions, allowing C−N and C−C bond forming reactions to take place, permitting the introduction of azide, amino and alkynyl substituents. For Eu(III) complexes, this approach allows late stage tuning of absorption and emission spectral properties, exemplified by the lowering of the energy of an LMCT transition accompanied by a reduction in the Eu−Npy bond length. Additionally, these complexes provide direct access to the corresponding Eu(II) analogues. With the Gd(III) series, the nature of the p-substituent does not significantly change the EPR properties (linewidth, relaxation times), as required for their development as EPR spin probes that can be readily conjugated to biomolecules under mild conditions.  相似文献
