A practical and reproducible route for the preparation of 1,4,7,10,13,16,19-heptaazacyclohenicosane (1), 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaazacyclooctadecane (2), and 1,4,7,10,13,17-hexaazacycloicosane (3) bearing a single N-(2-aminoethyl) pendant arm has been developed. Richman-Atkins cyclization in the presence of caesium carbonate was applied to construct the macrocycle from 3-benzoyl-N1,N5-ditosyl-3-azapentane-1.5-diamine and the appropriate fully N-tosylated N alpha, N omega-bis(2-mesyloxyethyl) tri- or tetra-amine. The benzoyl group was selectively removed with potassium tert-butoxide, and the exposed nitrogen atom was reacted with N-tosylaziridine. The tosyl protections were removed with hydrogen bromide in acetic acid, and the product was converted to a free base with the aid of a strong anion exchange resin (OH- form). 相似文献

Calculations of nuclear masses, using nuclear density functional theory, are presented for even-even nuclei spanning the nuclear chart. The resulting binding energy differences can be interpreted in terms of valence proton-neutron interactions. These are compared globally, regionally, and locally with empirical values. Overall, excellent agreement is obtained. Discrepancies highlight neglected degrees of freedom and can point to improved density functionals. 相似文献

The cleavage and isomerisation of uridine 3'-alkylphosphates was studied in the presence of a dinuclear Zn(2+) complex, 3. The rate acceleration of the cleavage by 1 mM 3 is approximately 10(6)-fold under neutral conditions. Most remarkably, the complex also promotes the isomerisation of phosphodiester bonds, although the rate-enhancement is more modest: under neutral conditions complex 3 (1 mM) catalyses isomerisation by about 500-fold. The observation of this reaction shows that the reactions of these substrates catalysed by 3 proceed through a stepwise mechanism involving an intermediate phosphorane. A β(lg) value of -0.92 was determined for the 3-promoted cleavage reaction, and modest kinetic solvent deuterium isotope effects ranging from 1.5 to 2.8 were observed. Isomerisation was less sensitive to the nature of the esterifying group, with a β value of -0.5, and the kinetic solvent deuterium isotope effects were less than 1.5. Most of these characteristics of the 3-promoted cleavage are very similar to those for the cleavage of nucleoside 3'-phosphotriesters. These data are explained by a mechanism in which the complex primarily acts as an electrophilic catalyst neutralising the charge on the phosphate and stabilising an intermediate phosphorane, with general acid catalysis promoting the cleavage reaction. In contrast to the behaviour of triesters, isomerisation is significantly slower than cleavage; this suggests that the changes in geometry that occur during isomerisation lead to a much less stable complex between 3 and the phosphorane intermediate. 相似文献

A five‐arm star‐shaped poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) with terminal bromide groups was used as a macroinitiator for the atom transfer radical polymerization of tert‐butyl acrylate (tBA), resulting in five‐arm star‐shaped poly(ethylene oxide)‐block‐poly(tert‐butyl acrylate) block copolymers. The polymerization proceeded in a controlled way using a copper(I)bromide/pentamethyl diethylenetriamine catalytic system in acetonitrile as solvent. The hydrolysis of the tBA blocks of the amphiphilic star‐shaped PEO‐b‐PtBA block copolymer resulted in dihydrophilic star structures. The encapsulation of the star‐block copolymers and their release properties in acid environment have been followed by UV‐spectroscopy and color changes, using the dye methyl orange as a hydrophilic guest molecule. Characterization of the structures has been done by 1H NMR, size exclusion chromatography, MALDI‐TOF, and differential scanning calorimetry. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. [1,5]-Silatropic shifts in disilyl substituted indenes: an NMR spectroscopic and computational study
The equilibrium profiles for [1,5]-silatropic shifts in a series of 1,3-/1,1-disilyl substituted indenes were studied by NMR and computational methods based on density functional theory. Validation of the Hygicult E dipslides method in surface hygiene control: a Nordic collaborative study 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A collaborative study with Enterobacteriaceae was conducted to validate Hygicult E dipslides by comparison with violet red bile glucose agar (VRBGA) contact plates and swabbing, using stainless steel surfaces artificially contaminated with microbes at various levels. Twelve laboratories participated in the validation procedure. The total number of collaborative samples was 108. The microbial level in each sample was assessed in triplicate by using the 3 above-mentioned methods. No Enterobacteriaceae were used at the low inoculation level. At the middle inoculation level, the percentages detached from the test surfaces were 16.6 with the Hygicult E method, 15.3 with the contact plate method, and 14.6 with swabbing; at the high innoculation level, the percentages were 14.5, 15.8, and 9.8, respectively. The percentage of acceptable results after the removal of outliers was 97.2. Repeatability relative standard deviations ranged from 33.4 to 44.9%; reproducibility relative standard deviations ranged from 45.2 to 77.1%. The Hygicult E dipslide, VRBGA contact plate, and swabbing methods gave similar results at all 3 microbial levels tested: <1.0 colony-forming units (CFU)/cm2 at the low level, 1.2-1.3 CFU/cm2 at the middle level (theoretical yield 8.0 CFU/cm2), and 1.2-2.0 CFU/cm2 at the high level (theoretical yield 12.5 CFU/cm2). 相似文献

The effect of the steric hindrance on the initiating properties of two multifunctional resorcinarene‐based initiators in atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was studied by using Cu(I)‐complexes of three multidentate amine ligands in the polymerization of tert‐butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate. These ligands are less sterically hindered and have higher activities in the catalysis of ATRP of (meth)acrylates than 2,2′‐bipyridine. The polymerizations were faster and more controlled than with the 2,2′‐bipyridyl catalyst, but the tendency for bimolecular coupling increased. Even though the initiator was octafunctional, the resulting star polymers had only four arms. This indicates that the steric hindrance arising from the conformations of the initiators determines the structure of the polymer, but the ligand noticeably affects the controllability of the polymerization © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Abstract A series of liquid-crystalline polystyrene derivatives with pendant mesogenic groups has been prepared and characterized. The side-chain is connected to the polystyrene backbone by a methyleneoxyhexyloxy spacer. The mesogenic group is a 4-alkoxy substituted biphenyl group. The length of the alkoxy end-group varied from a methoxy group to an octyloxy group. The polymers were synthesized by a radical reaction. Molar masses (M n) varied between 17,000 and 46,000, with a molar mass distribution between 1.6 and 2.0. All the polymers were liquid-crystalline, with enantiotropic smectic phases. The polymers were characterized with polarizing microscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and calorimetry. 相似文献

Synthesis, detailed structural characterization (X-ray, NMR, MS, IR, elemental analysis), and studies of toxicity, antioxidant activity and bioavailability of unique potent anti-atherosclerotic succinobucol-steroid conjugates are reported. The conjugates consist of, on one side, the therapeutically important drug succinobucol ([4-{2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-[(1-{[3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-(propan-2-yl)phenyl]sulfanyl}ethyl)sulfanyl]phenoxy}-4-oxo-butanoic acid]) possessing an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, and on the other side, plant stanol/sterols (stigmastanol, β-sitosterol and stigmasterol) possessing an ability to lower the blood cholesterol level. A cholesterol-succinobucol prodrug was also prepared in order to enhance the absorption of succinobucol through the intestinal membrane into the organism and to target the drug into the place of lipid metabolism-The enterohepatic circulation system. Their low toxicity towards mice fibroblasts at maximal concentrations, their antioxidant activity, comparable or even higher than that of ascorbic acid as determined by direct quenching of the DPPH radical, and their potential for significantly altering total and LDL cholesterol levels, suggest that these conjugates merit further studies in the treatment of cardiovascular or other related diseases. A brief discussion of succinobucol's ability to quench the radicals, supported with a computational model of the electrostatic potential mapped on the electron density surface of the drug, is also presented. 相似文献
