The saturated trihydride IrH33-P,O,P-[xant(PiPr2)2]} ( 1 ; xant(PiPr2)2=9,9-dimethyl-4,5-bis(diisopropylphosphino)xanthene) activates the B−H bond of two molecules of pinacolborane (HBpin) to give H2, the hydride-boryl derivatives IrH2(Bpin){κ3-P,O,P-[xant(PiPr2)2]} ( 2 ) and IrH(Bpin)23-P,O,P-[xant(PiPr2)2]} ( 3 ) in a sequential manner. Complex 3 activates a C−H bond of two molecules of benzene to form PhBpin and regenerates 2 and 1 , also in a sequential manner. Thus, complexes 1 , 2 , and 3 define two cycles for the catalytic direct C−H borylation of arenes with HBpin, which have dihydride 2 as a common intermediate. C−H bond activation of the arenes is the rate-determining step of both cycles, as the C−H oxidative addition to 3 is faster than to 2 . The results from a kinetic study of the reactions of 1 and 2 with HBpin support a cooperative function of the hydride ligands in the B−H bond activation. The addition of the boron atom of the borane to a hydride facilitates the coordination of the B−H bond through the formation of κ1- and κ2-dihydrideborate intermediates.  相似文献

An original method for determining the handedness of individual non-centrosymmetric crystals in a mixture using a tightly-focused, circularly polarized X-ray beam is presented. The X-ray natural circular dichroism (XNCD) spectra recorded at the metal K-edge on selected crystals of [Δ-M(en)3](NO3)2 and [Λ-M(en)3](NO3)2 (M=CoII, NiII) show extrema at the metal pre-edge (7712 eV for Co, 8335 eV for Ni). A mapping of a collection of some 220 crystals was performed at the respective energies by using left and right circular polarizations. The difference in absorption for the two polarizations, being either negative or positive, directly yielded the handedness of the crystal volume probed by the beam. By using this technique, it was found that the addition of l -ascorbic acid during the synthesis of [Co(en)3](NO3)2 resulted in an enantiomeric enrichment of the Λ-isomer of 67±13 %, whereas the Ni analogue was similarly, but conversely, enriched in the Δ-isomer (65±22 %).  相似文献

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a promising class of materials for many applications, due to their high chemical tunability and superb porosity. By growing MOFs as (thin-)films, additional properties and potential applications become available. Here, copper (II) 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate (Cu-BTC) metal–organic framework (MOF) thin-films are reported, which were synthesized by spin-coating, resulting in “nanowebs”, that is, fiber-like structures. These surface-mounted MOFs (SURMOFs) were studied by using photoinduced force microscopy (PiFM) and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS). The optimal concentration of precursors (10 mm ) was determined that resulted in chemically homogeneous, pure nanowebs. Furthermore, the morphology and (un)coordinated Cu sites in the web were tuned by varying the rotation speed of the spin-coating process. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that rotation speeds ≥2000 rpm (with precursors in a water/ethanol solution) generate the catena-triaqua-μ-(1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate)-copper(II), or Cu(BTC)(H2O)3 coordination polymer. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) highlighted the strong decrease in number of (defective) Cu+ sites, as the nanowebs mainly consist of coordinated Cu2+ Lewis acid sites (LAS) and organic linker–linker, for example, hydrogen-bonding, interactions. Finally, the Lewis-acidic character of the Cu sites is illustrated by testing the films as catalysts in the isomerization of α-pinene oxide. The higher number of LAS (≥3000 rpm), result in higher campholenic aldehyde selectivity reaching up to 87.7 %. Furthermore, the strength of a combined micro- and spectroscopic approach in understanding the nature of MOF thin-films in a spatially resolved manner is highlighted.  相似文献

A class of non-linear Fokker Planck equations with exactly known steady state solution is investigated and its relation with the models considered earlier in the literature is discussed. A characterisation of the absence of detailed balance and possible existence of limit cycles is given. The implications of detailed balance on the existence and the character of limit cycle behaviour are studied. It is shown that detailed balance does not determine the existence or non-existence of limit cycles but rather their character.  相似文献

Redundant constraints in linear inequality systems can be characterized as those inequalities that can be removed from an arbitrary linear optimization problem posed on its solution set without modifying its value and its optimal set. A constraint is saturated in a given linear optimization problem when it is binding at the optimal set. Saturation is a property related with the preservation of the value and the optimal set under the elimination of the given constraint, phenomena which can be seen as weaker forms of excess information in linear optimization problems. We say that an inequality of a given linear inequality system is uniformly saturated when it is saturated for any solvable linear optimization problem posed on its solution set. This paper characterizes the uniform saturated inequalities and other related classes of inequalities. A linear inequality system with infinitely many constraints is polynomial (analytical) if its index set is a compact interval of the real line and all its coefficients are polynomial (analytical, respectively) functions of the index on this interval.
