Summary: A membrane of a cobalt tetraazaporphyrin polymer complex was prepared with a nanometer thickness and used as an oxygen‐facilitated transport membrane. Rapid and reversible oxygen binding to the cobalt tetraazaporphyrin complex with a polymeric imidazole ligand was observed at low temperature. Oxygen transport through the membrane was facilitated and a high (oxygen/nitrogen) permselectivity of 28 was obtained.

Substituent groups of the diphenyl disulfides (DPSs) influence the cationic oxidative polymerization in the formation of polyphenylene sulfides (PPSs). A semiempirical MO calculation (AM1) was performed on the model compounds of PPS, such as thioanisoles (TAs) and diphenyl sulfides (PSs), in order to elucidate the reactivity of the cation. Linear PPS is formed on polymerization because of the high electron density of the carbon in the para position. The ratios of the frontier electron density of the carbon in the para position on the disulfide to the sulfur atom are ordered as follows; 3,5-dimethyl-PS>2,5-dimethyl-PS-3-methyl-PS>nonsubstituted PS>2-methyl-PS>2,6-dimethyl-PS. The formation energies of the σ-complex, which is the intermediate of the reaction, also shows the same order. The theoretical calculation indicates that 3,5-dimethyl disubstituted disulfide and 3-methyl one are most preferable monomers of this cationic oxidative polymerization. 相似文献
Many types of TiO2-SiO2 (Ti:Si=50:50 mol%) were prepared by the sol-gel procedure with and without 2-methyl-2, 4-pentanediol (MPD) as an organic ligand. The effect of MPD on the gel structure and the properties of the TiO2 crystals were studied by XRD and raman spectroscopy, and the effect of the sol standing time on the properties of the TiO2 crystals were also studied by XRD spectroscopy. In the gels with MPD, anatase of TiO2 appeared at approximately 580°C, and the crystal structures were similar despite the difference in the gel preparation procedure. The titania gels with MPD were presumed to be dispersed in the silica gel matrix without any Ti-O-Si bond. In the presence of MPD, the formation of titania gels is controlled and the specified TiO2 crystal is produced. 相似文献

The reactions of poly(epichlorohydrin) (PECH) and poly(2-chloroethyl vinyl ether) (PCEVE) with various reagents were investigated using phase transfer catalyst (PTC) such as tetra-n-butylammonium bromide (TBAB), 18-crown-6 (CR6), and dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6 (DCHC) is a solid—liquid two-phase system. Although the reactions of these polymers hardly occurred without PTC in nonpolar solvents such as toluene and diglyme under mild conditions, the addition of PTC caused the reactions to proceed smoothly under the same conditions. In addition, the reactions of PECH and PCEVE with a strong base such as potassium hydroxide proceeded selectively through β-elimination reaction to produce the polymers with pendant vinyl groups. These results suggested this method is useful for the syntheses of functional polymers. On the other hand, it turned out that quaternary ammonium salts such as TBAB have higher catalytic activity than crown ethers such as CRG and DCHE in these reactions. Furthermore, the catalytic activity of quaternary ammonium salts was strongly influenced by their chain length and the structure of the polymers. 相似文献
The electrophilic reaction of sulfur dichloride with diphenyl sulfide proceeds efficiently at room temperature to yield oligo(phenylene sulfide) in the presence of a catalytic amount of Fe powder. Sulfur dichloride shows higher reactivity than sulfur monochloride. The reaction is promoted through the activation of sulfur dichloride by Fe powder. A hydrophilic radical polymer, poly(2,2,6,6-teteramethylpiperidinyloxyl-4-yl acrylamide) (PTAm), was synthesized via oxidation of the corresponding precursor polymer, poly(2,2,6,6-teteramethylpiperidine-4-yl acrylamide). Electrochemical properties of the PTAm layer were characterized in three aqueous electrolytes of sodium chloride (NaCl), sodium tetrafluoroborate (NaBF4), and sodium hexafluorophosphate (NaPF6) to optimize its activity as an organic cathode. The counter anion species significantly affected the capacity and the cycle performance of the PTAm layer. The PTAm layer in the presence of BF4? displayed quantitative redox capacity beyond 1 μm layer thickness and maintained the discharging capacity of 110 mAh g-1 (97% vs. the calculated capacity) even after 1000 cycle charging/discharging, which could be ascribed to its appropriate affinity to the aqueous electrolyte without any dissolution into the electrolyte. A totally organic-based rechargeable cell was fabricated using PTAm and poly(N-4,4’-bipyridinium-N-decamethylene dibromide) as the cathode and the anode, respectively, and the aqueous electrolyte of NaBF4. The cell gave a plateau voltage at 1.2 V both on charging and discharging and an excellent charging/discharging cyclability of >2000 with high coulombic efficiency of >95%. 相似文献
