A new technique for scanning a diode laser beam is introduced where the beam is deflected in a current-injection-type travelling-wave beam deflector integrated with a diode laser. The deflector, which is formed outside the laser cavity, is cleave-coupled to the cavity. An anti-reflection coating on the deflector output facet suppresses the light returning to the laser. As a result, very smooth deflection of the radiation peak with low background intensity is realized in this device, while retaining high efficiency and low threshold current. 相似文献

Local density of states (LDOS) and the lattice structure of highly underdoped Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ with Tc = 22 K and 30 K were investigated by a low temperature scanning tunneling microscope. The modulation structure of the Bi–O surface was strongly depressed in the highly underdoped samples. The depression was observed only in the samples subject to the strong reduction annealing process, suggesting that the strong reduction in excess oxygen could destroy the modulation structure. At a time, patch-like inhomogeneity in the gap map sometimes disappeared, indicating that the existence of excess oxygen has an important role in the patch formation. Analysis on the LDOS with various doping levels showed that there was no crossover energy, which separates a pseudogap and a superconducting gap and is proportional to Tc. 相似文献

We report the achievement of transport critical currents in Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires and tapes with a Tc = 34 K. The wires and tapes were fabricated through an in situ powder-in-tube process. Silver was used as a chemical addition as well as a sheath material. All the wire and tape samples have shown the ability to transport superconducting current. Critical current density Jc was enhanced upon silver addition, and at 4.2 K, a largest Jc of ~1200 A/cm2 (Ic = 9 A) was achieved for 20% silver added tapes, which is the highest in iron-based wires and tapes so far. The Jc is almost field independent between 1 T and 10 T, exhibiting a strong vortex pinning. Such a high transport critical current density is attributed to the weak reaction between the silver sheath and the superconducting core, as well as an improved connectivity between grains. We also identify a weak-link behavior from the apparent drop of Jc at low fields and a hysteretic phenomenon. Finally, we found that compared to Fe, Ta and Nb tubes, Ag was the best sheath material for the fabrication of high-performance 122 type pnictide wires and tapes. 相似文献

ObjectivesTo quantify tissue gadolinium (Gd) deposition in renally impaired rats exposed to Gd-EOB-DTPA and other Gd-based MRI contrast agents by means of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), and to compare the differences in distribution among major organs as possible triggers for nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF).MethodsA total of 15 renally impaired rats were injected with Gd-EOB-DTPA, Gd-DTPA-BMA and Gd-HP-DO3A. Gd contents of skin, liver, kidney, lung, heart, spleen, diaphragm and femoral muscle were measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Histological assessment was also conducted.ResultsTissue Gd deposition in all organs was significantly higher (P = 0.005 ~ 0.009) in the Gd-DTPA-BMA group than in the Gd-HP-DO3A and Gd-EOB-DTPA groups. In the Gd-DTPA-BMA group, Gd was predominantly deposited in kidney (1306 ± 605.7 μg/g), followed by skin, liver, lung, spleen, femoral muscle, diaphragm and heart. Comparing Gd-HP-DO3A and Gd-EOB-DTPA groups, Gd depositions in the kidney, liver and lung were significantly lower (P = 0.009 ~ 0.011) in the Gd-EOB-DTPA group than in the Gd-HP-DO3A group although no significant differences were seen for any other organs.ConclusionsGd-EOB-DTPA is a stable and safe Gd-based contrast agent (GBCA) showing lower Gd deposition in major organs in renally impaired rats, compared with other GBCAs. This fact suggests that the risk of NSF onset would be low in the use of Gd-EOB-DTPA. 相似文献

Influence of structural characteristics on the thermal conductivity of polycrystalline diamond films

By analyzing the signal formed by the photoacoustic effect as a function of the light modulation frequency, it is shown that
this effect may be used to determine the thermal conductivity of diamond materials. The method is checked experimentally for
two types of polycrystalline diamond films grown by chemical vapor deposition with the gaseous medium activated by a dc discharge
and a microwave discharge. The data obtained on the thermal conductivity of the films are discussed with reference to the
results of an investigation of the optical absorption, Raman light scattering, and cathodoluminescence of similar films. It
is shown that the thermal conductivity of polycrystalline diamond films depends on the structural characteristics, which are
determined by the deposition conditions.

Infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy that used buried metal layer substrates (BML-IRRAS) and density functional cluster calculations were employed to investigate the water related oxidation reactions of 2H + H2O/Si(1 0 0)-(2 × 1), 2D + H2O/Si(1 0 0)-(2 × 1), and H2O + H/Si(1 0 0)-(2 × 1). In addition to the oxygen inserted coupled monohydrides, which were previously reported in the former reaction system, we report several other oxidized Si hydride species in our BML-IRRAS experiments. Three new pairs of vibrational bands are identified between 900 and 1000 cm−1. These vibrational frequencies were calculated using Si9 and Si10 cluster models that included all possible structures from zero to five oxygen insertions into the top layer silicon atoms using a B3LYP gradient corrected density functional method with a polarized 6-31G** basis set for all atoms. The three pairs of vibrational modes are assigned to the scissoring modes of adjacent and isolated SiH2 with zero, one, and two oxygen atoms inserted into the Si back bonds. All the other newly observed vibrational peaks related to Si oxidation are also assigned in this study. The Si-O stretching bands observed in the reaction 2D + H2O/Si(1 0 0)-(2 × 1) show an isotope effect, which suggests that in the system 2H + H2O/Si(1 0 0)-(2 × 1) also, hydrogen atom tunneling plays an important role for the insertion of oxygen atoms into Si back bonds that form oxidized adjacent dihydrides. 相似文献
