A photoresponsive surfactant with a cationic azobenzene head group (I) was synthesized. It was demonstrated that by mixing (I) with a conventional cationic micelle the rate of the micelle-catalyzed reaction (base-catalyzed proton abstraction from benzoin) can be controlled by light. The origin of the photocontrol was accounted for by the difference in the partitioning of trans-(I) and cis-(I) in the micelle phase.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the spin crossover complex [Fe(2-pic)3]Cl2·EtOH in its high spin state (298, 150 K) and low spin state (90 K) has been determined. The crystals are monoclinic, P21/c with Z=4 in the two spin states. Pronounced changes in the FeN bond distance (2.195 A for high spin, 2.013 A for low spin on average) and orientational disorder of the ethanol molecule were observed. The complexes and ethanols are both hydrogen bounded to Cl? ions.  相似文献

A liquid chromatographic (LC) method has been developed for the separation of 11 monohydroxybenzo[a]pyrenes (OH BaPs) positional isomers, and for their detection using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). All OH BaPs isomers were separated on an octadecylsilyl (C(18))-bonded amorphous organosilica column utilizing gradient elution with acetonitrile-water and triethylamine (TEA) at pH 11.0 and determined by MS, except 2- and 8-OH BaPs which were coeluted. The lower detection limits were in the range from 1.6 micro g/L for 12-OH BaP to 12 micro g/L for 5-OH BaP without any sample enrichment. The relative standard deviations of area response were in the range from 1.8% (9-OH BaP) to 4.9% (12-OH BaP) except for 9.4% (7-OH BaP). The developed method was successfully applied to incubation mixtures of BaP and CYP1A1/epoxide hydrolase. This method identified 1-, 3- and 9-OH BaPs as the major metabolites, and 2- (and/or 8-) and 12-OH BaPs as the minor metabolites in the incubation mixture.  相似文献

Serum transferrin precipitated with specific antisera was analyzed by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization/time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI/TOF-MS) and electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). When analyzed by MALDI, transferrin showed signal peaks that clearly could be separated from ions of IgG present in the immunoprecipitate. By ESI-MS, when the immunoprecipitates were loaded through a microcapillary polymeric reversed-phase column connected to the electrospray ionization probe, the mass spectra of transferrin were observed with a high signal-to-noise ratio and good resolution. By MALDI/TOF-MS, the observed molecular weight of normal transferrin was ~ 1.2 ku smaller when analyzed in the reflectron mode than in the linear mode. The observed molecular weight of transferrin treated with sialidase was approximately the same in both modes. A comparison between the results obtained in both modes may help to estimate the number of sialic acids on the protein molecule. A transferrin isoform with a molecular weight of ~2.2 ku less than the normal species was identified in the serum of patients with a carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome as well as in heavy alcohol consumers.  相似文献

A series of novel polyimide electrolytes having long pendant sulfo‐ or phosphoalkoxy groups were synthesized for fuel‐cell applications. Sulfodecyloxy‐, phosphodecyloxy‐, and sulfophenoxydodecyloxy‐substituted benzidine monomers were synthesized from dihydroxybenzidine. These monomers were copolymerized with naphthalene tetracarboxylic dianhydride and fluorenylidene dianiline to give the corresponding polyimides. A flexible, ductile, and self‐standing membrane was obtained via casting from the polyimide solution. Because the acid groups were on long pendant side chains and away from the main chains, the polyimide membrane showed improved oxidative and hydrolytic stability in comparison with the polyimides with sulfonic acid groups on the main chains or on the short side chains. High thermal stability (no glass‐transition temperature and a decomposition temperature > 200 °C) was also obtained. To analyze a curing process of epoxy resin in terms of molecular motion, we adapted a pulsed NMR method. Three kinds of (1)H spin-spin relaxation times (T(2L) (long), T(2S) (short) and T(2M) (intermediate)) were estimated from observed solid echo train signals as the curing process proceeded. A short T(2S) value below 20 micros suggests the existence of a motion-restricted chain, that is, cured elements of resin, and its fraction, P(S), sigmoidally increased with the curing time. On the other hand, the fraction of T(2L), P(L), decreased with the reaction time reciprocally against P(S), suggesting the disappearance of highly mobile molecules raised from pre-cured resin. The spin-lattice relaxation time, T(1), was also measured to check another aspect of molecular motion in the process. T(1) of the mixed epoxy resin and curing agent gradually increased just after mixing both of them. This corresponds to an increment of a less-mobile fraction, of which the correction time is more than 10(-6) s, and also means that the occurrence of a network structure whose mobility is strongly restricted by chemically bonded bridges between the epoxy resin and curing agent. The time courses of these parameters coincided with those of IR peaks pertinent to the curing reaction. Therefore, pulsed NMR is a useful tool to monitor the hardening process of epoxy resin in real time non-distractively in terms of the molecular motion of protons.  相似文献

The three-dimensional potential energy and dipole moment surfaces for the electronic ground state 6Δ of FeCN have been computed at the MR-SDCI + Q + Erel/[Roos ANO (Fe), aug-cc-pVQZ (C, N)] level of theory, where MR-SDCI means ‘multi-reference single and double excitation configuration interaction’ and ANO means ‘atomic natural orbital’. Based on these potential energy and dipole moment surfaces, the spectroscopic parameters, rovibronic energies, structural parameters, vibrational transition moments, and the wavenumbers and intensities of selected rotation-vibration transitions have been calculated. The equilibrium structure is linear with re(Fe-C) = 2.048 Å and re(C-N) = 1.168 Å, and the zero-point averaged structure is bent with 〈r(Fe-C)〉0 = 2.082 Å, 〈r(C-N)〉0 = 1.172 Å, and 〈∠(Fe-C-N)〉0 = 170(5)°. At all the MR-SDCI + Q and the size-extensive multi-reference averaged quadratic coupled-cluster (MR-AQCC) levels of theory, with and without relativistic correction Erel, that were employed in the present work, 6Δ FeCN is predicted to be slightly more stable than 6Δ FeNC. For example, the energy difference between the two isomers is approximately 150 cm−1 at the highest level of theory employed, MR-AQCC + Erel/[Roos ANO (Fe), aug-cc-pVQZ (C, N)] with zero-point energy correction. The electronic structure of 6Δ FeCN has also been compared with that of 6Δ FeNC. At present, no experimental spectroscopic data are available for 6Δ FeCN. It is hoped that the present work will stimulate experimental investigations of this molecule.  相似文献

The tissue distribution of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which is known to show unique biological responses, has been visualized in female mice by (19)F magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) incorporated with the recent advances in microimaging technique. The chemical shift selected fast spin-echo method was applied to acquire in vivo (19)F MR images of PFOA. The in vivo T(1) and T(2) relaxation times of PFOA were proven to be extremely short, which were 140 (+/- 20) ms and 6.3 (+/- 2.2) ms, respectively. To acquire the in vivo (19)F MR images of PFOA, it was necessary to optimize the parameters of signal selection and echo train length. The chemical shift selection was effectively performed by using the (19)F NMR signal of CF(3) group of PFOA without the signal overlapping because the chemical shift difference between the CF(3) and neighbor signals reaches to 14 kHz. The most optimal echo train length to obtain (19)F images efficiently was determined so that the maximum echo time (TE) value in the fast spin-echo sequence was comparable to the in vivo T(2) value. By optimizing these parameters, the in vivo (19)F MR image of PFOA was enabled to obtain efficiently in 12 minutes. As a result, the time course of the accumulation of PFOA into the mouse liver was clearly pursued in the (19)F MR images. Thus, it was concluded that the (19)F MRI becomes the effective method toward the future pharmacological and toxicological studies of perfluorocarboxilic acids.  相似文献

The absorption spectra of [2.2]paracyclophane (PC), tetramethyl [2.2]paracyclophane (DD), and triple- and quadrupole-layered cyclophanes (DDD and DDDD) were measured with the n-heptane and 3-methylpentane solutions in the range of 25000–59000 cm?1. The polarized absorption spectra of the [2.2]paracyclophane single crystal were measured in the range of 30000–50000 cm?1 for the ab plane and 30000–37500 cm?1 for the ac plane. Strong bands corresponding to the 180 nm band of benzene were newly observed at 53000, 49750, 49600, and 50000 cm?1 for PC, DD, DDD, and DDDD, respectively.The electronic structures of PC, DD, DDD, and DDDD were studied semiempirically by considering the configuration interaction among the ground, locally excited and charge-transfer configurations.From the band positions, the absorption intensities, and the band polarization obtained experimentally and theoretically, we made the more reasonable and more reliable band assignments compared with those by the previous authors.  相似文献
