This paper describes a quantitative measurement of trace elements (Na, Li) in high purity zirconium dioxide powder using liquid electrode plasma optical emission spectrometry (LEP-OES). Conventionally, for such type of measurements, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) is frequently employed. The detection limits of elements in zirconium by ICP-OES are degraded due to the spectra interference between the trace elements and zirconium of the matrix, because zirconium is a line rich element in spectra obtained by ICP-OES. LEP-OES is an elemental analysis method developed by the authors. The measurement principle is simple, as follows. Sample solution is put into a narrow channel on a small cuvette and voltage pulse is applied from both ends of the channel. At the center of the channel which is made narrower, the voltage and current are concentrated there, and plasma is generated. From the emission of the plasma, the quantitative analysis of the elements in the solution is achieved. The LEP-OES has the property that the emission of zirconium is relatively weak, so that highly sensitive measurement of trace elements in zirconium matrix can be conducted without interference. Sample solution is prepared by dissolving high purity zirconium dioxide powder and trace amounts of Na or Li with sulfuric acid. The voltage dependence and the pulse width dependence of optical emission spectra are also investigated. With increase of the voltage or the pulse width, the ratio of emission intensities of Na to those of hydrogen increases. This suggests that the ratio of sensitivity of two elements is variable, that means the element selectivity is controllable to some extent by the measurement conditions in LEP-OES. In the case of Na and H, the ratio can be controlled from 7.4 to 21.6%. Finally, the detection limits (3S.D.) of the trace elements, Na and Li, in 4000 μg g−1 zirconium dioxide aqueous solution are found to be 0.02 and 0.133 μg g−1, respectively. These values correspond to 5 μg g−1 for Na, 33.25 μg g−1 for Li in original high purity zirconium dioxide powder. The correlation coefficient of calibration curve was 0.995 for Na, 0.985 for Li. Those are comparable to the literature values of detection limits using ICP-OES.  相似文献

This study describes an accurate, sensitive, and specific chromatographic method for the simultaneous quantitative determination of lamivudine and zidovudine in human blood plasma, using stavudine as an internal standard. The chromatographic separation was performed using a C8 column (150 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), and ultraviolet absorbency detection at 270 nm with gradient elution. Two mobile phases were used. Phase A contained 10 mM potassium phosphate and 3% acetonitrile, whereas Phase B contained methanol. A linear gradient was used with a variability of A-B phase proportion from 98–2% to 72–28%, respectively. The drug extraction was performed with two 4 mL aliquots of ethyl acetate.  相似文献

Three new alkaloids, 2′‐Oβ‐D ‐glucopyranosyl‐11‐hydroxyvincoside lactam ( 1 ), 22‐O‐demethyl‐22‐Oβ‐D ‐glucopyranosylisocorynoxeine ( 2 ), and (4S)‐corynoxeine N‐oxide ( 3 ) were isolated from the leaves of Uncaria rhynchophylla, together with four known tetracyclic oxindole or indole alkaloids, isocorynoxeine N‐oxide ( 4 ), rhynchophylline N‐oxide ( 5 ), isorhynchophylline N‐oxide ( 6 ), and dihydrocorynantheine ( 7 ), and an indole alkaloid glycoside, strictosidine ( 8 ). The structures of 1 – 3 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including UV, IR, ESI‐TOF‐MS, 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR, as well as CD experiments. The activity assay showed that 8 (IC50=8.3 μM ) exhibited potent inhibitory activity on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)‐induced nitrogen monoxide (NO) release in N9 microglia cells. However, only weak inhibitory activities were observed for 1 – 7 (IC50>100 μM for 1 – 6 or >30 μM for 7 ).  相似文献

Lactococcus lactis is a gram-positive, normally homolactic fermenter that is known to produce several kinds of membrane associated quinones, which are able to mediate electron transfer to extracellular electron acceptors such as Fe3+, Cu2+ and hexacyanoferrate. Here we show that this bacterium is also capable of performing extracellular electron transfer to anodes by utilizing at least two soluble redox mediators, as suggested by the two-step catalytic current developed. One of these two mediators was herein suggested to be 2-amino-3-dicarboxy-1,4-naphthoquinone (ACNQ), via evaluation of standard redox potential, ability of the bacterium to exploit the quinone when exogenously provided, as well as by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with UV spectrum analysis. During electricity generation, L. lactis slightly deviated from its normal homolactic metabolism by excreting acetate and pyruvate in stoichiometric amounts with respect to the electrical current. In this metabolism, the anode takes on the role of electron sink for acetogenic fermentation. The finding that L. lactis self-catalyses anodic electron transfer by excretion of redox mediators is remarkable as the mechanisms of extracellular electron transfer by pure cultures of gram-positive bacteria had previously never been elucidated.  相似文献

Given a class of geometric objects and a point set P, a -matching of P is a set of elements of such that each C i contains exactly two elements of P and each element of P lies in at most one C i . If all of the elements of P belong to some C i , M is called a perfect matching. If, in addition, all of the elements of M are pairwise disjoint, we say that this matching M is strong. In this paper we study the existence and characteristics of -matchings for point sets in the plane when is the set of isothetic squares in the plane. A consequence of our results is a proof that the Delaunay triangulations for the L metric and the L 1 metric always admit a Hamiltonian path.  相似文献

This note concerns the f-parity subgraph problem, i.e., we are given an undirected graph G and a positive integer value function \({f : V(G) \rightarrow \mathbb{N}}\), and our goal is to find a spanning subgraph F of G with deg F f and minimizing the number of vertices x with \({\deg_F(x) \not\equiv f(x) \, {\rm mod} \, {2}}\) . First we prove a Gallai–Edmonds type structure theorem and some other known results on the f-parity subgraph problem, using an easy reduction to the matching problem. Then we use this reduction to investigate barriers and elementary graphs with respect to f-parity factors, where an elementary graph is a graph such that the union of f-parity factors form a connected spanning subgraph.  相似文献

A biocleavable polyrotaxane, having a necklace-like structure consisting of many cationic alpha-cyclodextrins (alpha-CDs) and a disulfide-introduced poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), was synthesized and examined as a nonviral gene carrier. The polyrotaxane formed a stable polyplex having positively charged surface even at low charge ratio. This is likely to be due to structural factors of the polyrotaxane, such as the mobile motion of alpha-CDs in the necklace-like structure. Rapid endosomal escape was observed 90 min after transfection. The positively charged surface and the good buffering capacity are advantageous to show the proton sponge effect. The pDNA decondensation occurred through disulfide cleavage of the polyrotaxane and subsequent supramolecular dissociation of the noncovalent linkages between alpha-CDs and PEG. Transfection of the DMAE-SS-PRX polyplex is independent of the amount of free polycation. Those properties played a key role for delivery of pDNA clusters to the nucleus. Therefore, the polyplex nature and the supramolecular dissociation of the polyrotaxane contributed to the enhanced gene delivery.  相似文献

The thawing process for boiled and frozen edible vegetables was traced by a dedicated MRI for food research. The MRI system is small, with a 1.0-T static magnetic field, and can be placed in an ordinary research room with a light air conditioner. Images of green soybeans, broad beans, okra, asparagus and taro were measured by the spin-echo method (echo time=7 ms) with 0.1 or 0.2 s and 1 s repetition times. The images appeared along with the thawing time, and signals uniformly covered the sliced plane of the samples in the thawed condition. Information about the thawing process and tissue structures of the materials was obtained during transit thawing conditions. The thawing kinetics were examined with increased signal intensity, which were divided into two types. The signal increased linearly and saturated for okra and asparagus but exhibited convex curves for soybeans, broad beans and taro. The small MRI was stable, its handling was simple, and the internal structures of food materials could be accurately identified, although the grey-scale of the images was insufficient for determining precise textural fluctuations of tissue organization. We conclude that the devised MRI is useful for examining the quality of frozen foods and for developmental research into frozen foods.  相似文献
