The complex aggregation processes of dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride (DTAC) have been studied in dilute solutions of sodium
salicylate (NaSal) by isothermal titration calorimetry and electrical conductivity at temperatures between 278.15 K and 318.15 K.
A structural transformation that was dependent on the concentrations of DTAC and NaSal was observed. The micellization process
in dilute solutions of DTAC has been subjected to a detailed thermodynamic analysis and shown to occur at considerably lower

The treatment of [{Rh(μ-SH){P(OPh)(3)}(2)}(2)] with [{M(μ-Cl)(diolef)}(2)] (diolef=diolefin) in the presence of NEt(3) affords the hydrido-sulfido clusters [Rh(3)(μ-H)(μ(3)-S)(2)(diolef){P(OPh)(3)}(4)] (diolef=1,5-cyclooctadiene (cod) for 1, 2,5-norbornadiene (nbd) for 2, and tetrafluorobenzo[5,6]bicyclo[2.2.2]octa-2,5,7-triene (tfb) for 3) and [Rh(2)Ir(μ-H)(μ(3)-S)(2)(cod){P(OPh)(3)}(4)] (4). Cluster 1 can be also obtained by treating [{Rh(μ-SH){P(OPh)(3)}(2)}(2)] with [{Rh(μ-OMe)(cod)}(2)], although the main product of the reaction with [{Ir(μ-OMe)(cod)}(2)] was [RhIr(2)(μ-H)(μ(3)-S)(2)(cod)(2){P(OPh)(3)}(2)] (5). The molecular structures of clusters 1 and 4 have been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The deprotonation of a hydrosulfido ligand in [{Rh(μ-SH)(CO)(PPh(3))}(2)] by [M(acac)(diolef)] (acac=acetylacetonate) results in the formation of hydrido-sulfido clusters [Rh(3)(μ-H)(μ(3)-S)(2)(CO)(2) (diolef)(PPh(3))(2)] (diolef=cod for 6, nbd for 7) and [Rh(2)Ir(μ-H)(μ(3)-S)(2)(CO)(2)(cod)(PPh(3))(2)] (8). Clusters 1-3 and 5 exist in solution as two interconverting isomers with the bridging hydride ligand at different edges. Cluster 8 exists as three isomers that arise from the disposition of the PPh(3) ligands in the cluster (cis and trans) and the location of the hydride ligand. The dynamic behaviour of clusters with bulky triphenylphosphite ligands, which involves hydrogen migration from rhodium to sulfur with a switch from hydride to proton character, is significant to understand hydrogen diffusion on the surface of metal sulfide hydrotreating catalysts. 相似文献

By using the "gathering-and-threading" effect of copper(I) with rigid ring-and-string conjugates, daisy-chain-type [3]- and [4]pseudorotaxanes could be prepared in high yields. The organic fragment used consisted of a 2,9-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dpp)-containing ring attached to a coordinating filament capable of threading through the ring of another molecule by coordination to copper(I). The bidentate chelate introduced in the axis was also a 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) derivative with two methyl groups ortho to the nitrogen atoms of the phen unit. The organic component was prepared following a multistep strategy, one of the key steps being the attachment of the ring to the lateral axis. This connection was done by a condensation reaction between an ortho dione located at the back of a ring-incorporated phen and an aromatic aldehyde, which was the end-function of the thread. An oxazole nucleus was obtained after the condensation, which provided a rigid connection between the ring and the axis. In this way, the coordination axes of the ring-incorporated bidentate chelate and of the ligand belonging to the lateral filament were approximately orthogonal to one another. The design was such that the tetrameric complex, a [4]pseudorotaxane, seemed to be the most stable species, owing to the mutual geometrical arrangement of the filament and the ring. Various spectroscopic techniques, such as (1)H NMR spectroscopy, including DOSY, and electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy (ESI-MS), clearly demonstrated that a mixture of cyclic [3]- and [4]pseudorotaxane was obtained; the proportions of both components depended on concentration and temperature. Copper(I) was not the only metal center leading to the formation of cyclic pseudorotaxanes. A similar effect was observed with silver(I) as the templating metal: quantitative formation of threaded species was observed, with a higher proportion of trimer over tetramer than in the copper(I) case. Concentration and temperature effects were investigated for both series of Cu(I) - and Ag(I) -complexed threaded species showing that formation of the trimer was favored upon dilution or heating of the solution. 相似文献

Solvent-driven aggregation of a series of porphyrin derivatives was studied by UV/Vis and circular dichroism spectroscopy. The porphyrins are characterised by the presence in the meso positions of steroidal moieties further conjugated with glucosyl groups. The presence of these groups makes the investigated macrocycles amphiphilic and soluble in aqueous solvent, namely, dimethyl acetamide/water. Aggregation of the macrocycles is triggered by a change in bulk solvent composition leading to formation of large architectures that express supramolecular chirality, steered by the presence of the stereogenic centres on the periphery of the macrocycles. The aggregation behaviour and chiroptical features of the aggregates are strongly dependent on the number of moieties decorating the periphery of the porphyrin framework. In particular, experimental evidence indicates that the structure of the steroid linker dictates the overall chirality of the supramolecular architectures. Moreover, the porphyrin concentration strongly affects the aggregation mechanism and the CD intensities of the spectra. Notably, AFM investigations reveal strong differences in aggregate morphology that are dependent on the nature of the appended functional groups, and closely in line with the changes in aggregation mechanism. The suprastructures formed at lower concentration show a network of long fibrous structures spanning over tens of micrometres, whereas the aggregates formed at higher concentration have smaller rod-shaped structures that can be recognised as the result of coalescence of smaller globular structures. The fully steroid substituted derivative forms globular structures over the whole concentration range explored. Finally, a rationale for the aggregation phenomena was given by semiempirical calculations at the PM6 level. 相似文献

Oligodeoxynucleotides incorporating a reactive functionality can cause irreversible cross-linking to the target sequence and have been widely studied for their potential in inhibition of gene expression or development of diagnostic probes for gene analysis. Reactive oligonucleotides further show potential in a supramolecular context for the construction of nanometer-sized DNA-based objects. Inspired by the cytochrome P450 catalyzed transformation of furan into a reactive enal species, we recently introduced a furan-oxidation-based methodology for cross-linking of nucleic acids. Previous experiments using a simple acyclic building block equipped with a furan moiety for incorporation into oligodeoxynucleotides have shown that cross-linking occurs in a very fast and efficient way and that substantial amounts of stable, site-selectively cross-linked species can be isolated. Given the destabilization of duplexes observed upon introduction of the initially designed furan-modified building block into DNA duplexes, we explore here the potential benefits of two new building blocks featuring an extended aromatic system and a restored cyclic backbone. Thorough experimental analysis of cross-linking reactions in a series of contexts, combined with theoretical calculations, permit structural characterization of the formed species and allow assessment of the origin of the enhanced cross-link selectivity. Our experiments clearly show that the modular nature of the furan-modified building blocks used in the current cross-linking strategy allow for fine tuning of both yield and selectivity of the interstrand cross-linking reaction. 相似文献

We present results of ab-initio scattering calculations for electron collisions with pyrazine using the R-matrix method, carried out at various levels of approximation. We confirm the existing experimental and theoretical understanding of the three well-known π? shape resonances. In addition, we find numerous core-excited resonances (above 4.8 eV) and identify their most likely parent states. We also present differential cross sections, showing high sensitivity to the scattering model chosen at low energies. Fatty acid (FA) and triacylglycerol (TG) composition of natural oils and fats intake in the diet has a strong influence on the human health and chronic diseases. In this work, non-aqueous reversed-phase (NARP) and silver-ion high-performance liquid chromatography with atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry detection and gas chromatography with flame-ionization detection (GC/FID) and mass spectrometry detection are used for the characterization of FA and TG composition in complex samples of animal fats from fallow deer, red deer, sheep, moufflon, wild boar, cock, duck and rabbit. The FA composition of samples is determined based on the GC/FID analysis of FA methyl esters. In total, 81 FAs of different acyl chain length, double bond (DB) number, branched/linear, cis-/trans- and DB positional isomers are identified. TGs in animal fats contain mainly monounsaturated and saturated FAs. High amounts of branched and trans-FAs are observed in the samples of ruminants. In NARP mode, individual TG species are separated including the separation of trans- and branched TGs. Silver-ion mode provides the separation of TG regioisomers, which enables the determination of their ratios. Great differences in the preference of unsaturated and saturated FAs in the sn-2 position on the glycerol skeleton are observed among individual animal fats. Unsaturated FAs are preferentially occupied in the sn-2 position in all animal samples except for wild boar with the strong preference of saturated FAs in the sn-2 position. 相似文献

Electrical conductivity, dielectric permittivity and mechanical hardness of the polycrystalline CeO2 + xSm2O3 (x = 0, 10.9–15.9 mol %) films prepared by Electron Beam Physical Vapour Deposition (EB-PVD) and Ionic Beam Assisted Deposition,
(IBAD), techniques were investigated in dependence on their structure and microstructure influenced by the deposition conditions,
namely composition, deposition temperature and Ar+ ion bombardment. The electrical conductivity of doped ceria prepared without Ar+ ion bombardment and investigated by the impedance spectroscopy, IS, was found to be predominantly ionic one under the oxidizing
atmosphere/low-temperature conditions and the higher amounts of Sm2O3 (>10 mol %) used. The bulk conductivity as a part of total measured conductivity was a subject of interest because the grain
boundary conductivity was found to be ∼3 orders of magnitude lower than the corresponding bulk conductivity. Ar+ ion bombardment acted as a reducer (Ce4+ → Ce3+) resulting in the development of electronic conductivity. Dielectric permittivity determined from the bulk parallel capacitance
measured at room temperature and the frequency of 1 MHz, similarly as the mechanical hardness measured by indentation (classical
Vickers and Depth Sensing Indentation-DSI) techniques were also found to be dependent on the deposition conditions. The approximative

On‐line LC‐EC/ESI‐MS has been established as a fast and simple method to mimic some types of oxidation reaction of various drugs and to study the formation and structure of the resulting products. This technique has been applied to a 2,6,9‐trisubstituted purine, R‐roscovitine, which is known to be an inhibitor of some cyclin‐dependent kinases (CDKs) and a potential anticancer drug. Oxidation of R‐roscovitine in an electrochemical cell (EC), operated under various conditions, resulted in appearance of 6 major products. These were further analyzed by high‐resolution mass spectrometry, their structures were elucidated by accurate mass measurement and compared to previously identified R‐roscovitine in vitro/in vivo metabolites. Although none of the observed products was structurally identical to those identified previously in vitro/in vivo, all of them, except for the methoxylated products, resembled similarity due to appearing through the same reaction type. R‐roscovitine in the EC cell underwent N‐dealkylation of the isopropyl moiety, hydroxylation of the aromatic side‐chain, dihydroxylation, methoxylation and dimer formation. The hydroxylation product was identified as Olomoucine II, a R‐roscovitine derivative, which displays 10‐times higher CDK‐inhibiting activity than R‐roscovitine and the occurrence of which, as R‐roscovitine product, has not yet been observed in vitro/in vivo. 相似文献
