Summary A modified nickel hexacyanoferrate film glassy carbon electrode is prepared by the electrochemical deposition technique. The film is very stable upon voltammetric scanning in the potential range of 1.0 to –0.5 V (vs. SCE) and an oxidation peak occurs at 0.35 V (vs. SCE) (1 mol/l NaNO3). The effects of electrolyte, solvent, coexisting ions and other variables on the voltammetric behaviour of the modified film have been studied. The thickness of the resulting film can be controlled by changing the number of voltammetric cycles and the concentrations of nickel(II) and hexacyanoferrate(III) ions. The film shows catalytic activity towards electrooxidation of thiosulfate with a peak potential +0.5 V (K–-containing media). This oxidation potential of thiosulfate on the modified electrode is shifted negatively by about 550 mV as compared to the naked glassy carbon electrode. For practical application, the modified electrode can be used for the determination of thiosulfate in concentrations from 5.0×10–5 to 1.0×10–1 mol/l. This method has been successfully applied to the determination of thiosulfate in photographic waste effluents. 相似文献

Molecular mechanics (MM2) calculations were performed on 54 conformations of 18 phosphines (PH3; PH3−nRn, where n = 1,…3, and R = Me and Et, n = 1 or 2 and R =iPr, and n = 1 and R =tBu, PMe2Et, PMeEt2, and PPhMe2, and PPh2R where R = Me, Et, iPr, tBu and Ph). The results are compared to those previously obtained from MINDO/3 and MNDO calculations, and to experimental data. Single conformer cone angles and weighted average cone angles were calculated from MM2 optimized geometries employing Tolman's general definition, and they are compared to Tolman's values, MINDO/3 results, and T.L. Brown's ER values. Of the cone angle definitions used, the weighted average values are suggested as the best single representation of phosphine ligand sizes. The steric parameters (cone angle and ER values) alone, and in conjunction with electronic parameters, are correlated with experimental data. 相似文献

We present the comaprative study of semileptonic and leptonic decays of Ds, D±and D0meson(D →M l+-αl-β, D → l+αlβ, D → l+αvα;α,β=e,μ) within the framework of R-parity violating the( Rp) Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model(MSSM). The comparison shows that combination and product couplings,(λβiα λ* ij qor λβqkλ*αj k)contribution to the branching fractions of the said processes(under consideration) is consistent with or comparable to the experimental measurements in most of the cases. However, some cases exist where these contributions are highly suppressed. We identify such cases in our analysis and single out the important ones suitable for exploring in the future and current experiments. 相似文献

We have developed an analytic approach to investigate the effect of group delay ripple of the dispersive devices on the performance of two major building blocks of microwave-photonic filters. Firstly, performance of PM-based block in the presence of an arbitrary group delay ripple (GDR) is analyzed and compared with the ripple-free case to reveal the destructive effects of added group delay ripple. In the next step, we repeat the proposed approach for the AM-based one; again, the performance is compared with the ripple-free case. Two distortion metrics are also introduced to quantify this distortion. Comparison of the performance of two building blocks in the presence of group delay ripple unveils some interesting characteristics of microwave-photonic filters which have not been mentioned so far. We also add a general survey of two analyzed building blocks to present their respective most significant advantages and shortcomings. The simulated Optisystem results conform to our proposed analytical approach and verify the theoretical model. 相似文献

In the present report, Nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiONPs) were synthesized using Rhamnus virgata (Roxb.) (Family: Rhamnaceae) as a potential stabilizing, reducing and chelating agent. The formation, morphology, structure and other physicochemical properties of resulting NiONPs were characterized by Ultra violet spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared analysis (FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy‐dispersive‐spectroscopy (EDS), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Raman spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering (DLS). Detailed in vitro biological activities revealed significant therapeutic potential for NiONPs. The antimicrobial efficacy of biogenic NiONPs was demonstrated against five different gram positive and gram negative bacterial strains. Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MIC: 125 μg/mL) were found to be the least susceptible and Bacillus subtilis (MIC: 31.25 μg/mL) was found to be the most susceptible strain to NiONPs. Biogenic NiONPs were reported to be highly potent against HepG2 cells (IC50: 29.68 μg/ml). Moderate antileishmanial activity against Leishmania tropica (KMH23) promastigotes (IC50: 10.62 μg/ml) and amastigotes (IC50: 27.58 μg/ml) cultures are reported. The cytotoxic activity was studied using brine shrimps and their IC50 value was recorded as 43.73 μg/ml. For toxicological assessment, NiONPs were found compatible towards human RBCs (IC50: > 200 μg/ml) and macrophages (IC50: > 200 μg/ml), deeming particles safe for various applications in nanomedicines. Moderate antioxidant activities: total antioxidant capacity (TAC) (51.43%), 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) activity (70.36%) and total reducing power (TRP) (45%) are reported for NiONPs. In addition, protein kinase and alpha amylase inhibition assays were also performed. The optical characteristics of biological tissues sampled from the anterior abdominal wall of laboratory rats are for the first time experimentally studied in a wide wavelength range (350-2500 nm). The experiments have been performed in vitro using a LAMBDA 950 (PerkinElmer, United States) spectrophotometer. Two series of new Cu(II) complexes derived from the reaction of copper acetate with the non-linear 1,2,3-triazole-based Schiff bases have successfully been synthesised. The structures of the ligands and its complexes were elucidated by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H-NMR and UV–visible spectroscopic techniques. The differential scanning calorimetry and polarizing optical microscopy supported the anisotropic properties of uncoordinated ligands in which the focal conic fan-shaped texture and/or broken fan-shaped texture characteristics of respective SmA and SmC phases were recorded. However, not all of their corresponding Cu(II) complexes are mesogenic. Although the iodo-substituted ligands with even parity C10H29 to C14H33 are non-stable and exhibit SmA phase which is not reproducible, the ultimate Cu(II) complexes show exclusively stable SmA phase. This observation can be ascribed to the enhanced colinearity and molecular anisotropic by the presence of Cu-N and Cu-O coordination modes. On the other hand, the comparison studies show that different positions of ortho-hydroxyl group affect the mesomorphic and thermal behaviour of ligands and Cu(II) complexes. 相似文献
