Detailed investigations have been reported on the application of a common procedure using bromate in nitric acid for the removal of the interference of sulfide in the direct potentiometric determination of chloride using silver-based ion selective electrodes in a flow injection system. It is shown that this procedure is not very efficient and carries a high risk of chloride underestimation. With increasing levels of sulfide the oxidation of chloride to elemental chlorine becomes progressively significant and under certain circumstances virtually no chloride is left irrespective of its initial concentration. Hydrogen peroxide in alkaline medium is proposed as a suitable alternative for the efficient removal of sulfide without any adverse effects on the potentiometric method.  相似文献

We have recently demonstrated that polarization transfer using an adiabatic passage through the Hartmann-Hahn condition (APHH-CP) by a variation of the radio-frequency amplitude can substantially improve the transfer efficiency over Hartmann-Hahn cross polarization. Here we show that APHH-CP can be combined with fast magic angle sample spinning (MAS). The heteronuclear dipolar order, established in the course of the transfer, can indeed be created and preserved.  相似文献

Slowly diffusing water molecules were found by quasi-elastic neutron scattering (QENS) in a sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micellar solution, and both their diffusion coefficient (4.33 x 10(-6) cm2 x s(-1)) and mole fraction (0.057) were determined. After successfully checking the mean slowing down of solvent molecules by the gradient compensated stimulated spin-echo (GCSTE) pulse sequence NMR method, a similar effect was observed with this technique in the solvent phase of dodecyl trimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) and differing chain length (X = 12, 20, 30, and 40) ethoxylated nonyl phenol (9NX) micellar systems. Following the literature, the experimental results are qualitatively explained by assuming that, apart from ionic hydration, H-bonds may form between the solvent molecules and the O or N atoms present in the hydrophilic (head)groups of the micelle-forming monomers.  相似文献

The rare‐earth metal germanides RE2Ge9 (RE = Nd, Sm) have been prepared by thermal decomposition of the metastable high‐pressure phases REGe5 at ambient pressure. The compounds adopt an orthorhombic unit cell with a = 396.34(4) pm; b = 954.05(8) pm and c = 1238.4(1) pm for Nd2Ge9 and a = 395.46(7) pm; b = 946.4(2) pm and c = 1232.1(3) pm for Sm2Ge9. Crystal structure refinements reveal space group Pmmn (No. 59) for Nd2Ge9. The atomic pattern resembles an ordered defect variety of the pentagermanide motif REGe5 (RE = La; Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb) comprising corrugated germanium layers. These condense into a three‐dimensional network interconnected by eight‐coordinated germanium atoms. The resulting framework channels along [100] enclose the neodymium atoms. With respect to the atomic arrangement of the pentagermanides, half of the interlayer germanium atoms are eliminated in an ordered way so that occupied and empty germanium columns alternate along [001]. The rare‐earth metal atoms of both types of compounds, REGe5 and RE2Ge9, exhibit the electronic states 4f 3 and 4f 5 (oxidation state +3) for neodymium and samarium, respectively, evidencing that the modification of the germanium network leaves the electron configuration of the metal atoms unaffected.  相似文献

Vesicles assembled from amphiphilic block copolymers represent promising nanomaterials for applications that include drug delivery and surface functionalization. One essential requirement to guide such polymersomes to a desired site in vivo is conjugation of active, targeting ligands to the surface of preformed self-assemblies. Such conjugation chemistry must fulfill criteria of efficiency and selectivity, stability of the resulting bond, and biocompatibility. We have here developed a new system that achieves these criteria by simple conjugation of 4-formylbenzoate (4FB) functionalized polymersomes with 6-hydrazinonicotinate acetone hydrazone (HyNic) functionalized antibodies in aqueous buffer. The number of available amino groups on the surface of polymersomes composed of poly(dimethylsiloxane)-block-poly(2-methyloxazoline) diblock copolymers was investigated by reacting hydrophilic succinimidyl-activated fluorescent dye with polymersomes and evaluating the resulting emission intensity. To prove attachment of biomolecules to polymersomes, HyNic functionalized enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (eYFP) was attached to 4FB functionalized polymersomes, resulting in an average number of 5 eYFP molecules per polymersome. Two different polymersome-antibody conjugates were produced using either antibiotin IgG or trastuzumab. They showed specific targeting toward biotin-patterned surfaces and breast cancer cells. Overall, the polymersome-ligand platform appears promising for therapeutic and diagnostic use.  相似文献

Conjugated oligomers represent a prominent class of compounds from a viewpoint of their theory, synthesis, and applications in materials science. Push-pull substitution with an electron donor D at one end of the conjugation and an electron acceptor A at the other end results in them having outstanding optical and electronical properties. This Review highlights fundamental synthetic strategies for the preparation of such oligomers with n repeat units (n=1, 2, 3, 4, ..) and the rules that govern their linear and nonlinear optical properties (absorption, frequency doubling and tripling). The unification of chemical, physical, and theoretical aspects with an interdisciplinary image of this class of compounds is attempted herein.  相似文献

We present a novel quantum-dynamics approach suitable for computing direct dissociation processes, including electronic transitions. This approach combines quantum trajectories in the Lagrangian reference frame with standard fixed-grid wave packets in order to overcome the limitations and difficulties of both techniques. As a model application, we consider the ultrafast photodissociation of H2 excited by a femtosecond extreme UV laser pulse.  相似文献

Herein we describe the design and synthesis of the first series of di‐functional ligands for the directed construction of inorganic‐protein frameworks. The synthesized ligands are composed of a metal‐ion binding moiety (terpyridine‐based) conjugated to an epoxysuccinyl peptide, known to covalently bind active cysteine proteases through the active‐site cysteine. We explore and optimize two different conjugation chemistries between the di‐functionalized metal‐ion ligand and the epoxysuccinyl‐containing peptide moiety: peptide‐bond formation (with limited success) and CuI‐catalysed click chemistry (with good results). Further, the complexation of the synthesized ligands with FeII and NiII ions is investigated: the di‐functional ligands are confirmed to behave similarly to the parent terpyridine. As designed, the peptidic moiety does not interfere with the complexation reaction, in spite of the presence of two triazole rings that result from the click reaction. ES‐MS together with NMR and UV/Vis studies establish the structure, the stoichiometry of the complexation reactions, as well as the conditions under which chemically sensitive peptide‐containing polypyridine ligands can undergo the self‐assembly process. These results establish the versatility of our approach and open the way to the synthesis of di‐functional ligands containing more elaborated polypyridine ligands as well as affinity labels for different enzyme families. As such, this paper is the first step towards the construction of robust supramolecular species that cover a size‐regime and organization level previously unexplored.  相似文献

A rapid and efficient synthesis of novel dendrimer homotriptycenes is presented. The dendronized 9,10-dihydroanthracen-9-ols 4, having high electron densities in the benzene rings of the Fréchet-type dendrons, exhibited in the presence of acid a quantitative transannular ring closure to the corresponding dendritic homotriptycenes. The electron-donating Fréchet-type dendrons enabled the intramolecular FC alkylation by a regioselective 1,7-elimination of H2O.  相似文献
