New fluorescent heterocyclic ligands were synthesized by the reaction of 8‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐3‐alkyl‐3H‐imidazo[4',5':3,4]benzo [1,2‐c]isoxazol‐5‐amine with p‐hydroxybenzaldehyde and p‐chlorobenzaldehyde in good yields. The coordination ability of the ligands with Fe3+ ion was examined in an aqueous metanolic solution. Schiff base ligands and their metal complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–vis, mass, and NMR spectra. The optical properties of the compounds were investigated and the results showed that the fluorescence of all compounds is intense and their obtained emission quantum yields are around 0.15 – 0.53. Optimized geometries and assignment of the IR bands and NMR chemical shifts of the new complexes were also computed by using density functional theory (DFT) methods. The DFT‐calculated vibrational wavenumbers and NMR chemical shifts are in good agreement with the experimental values, confirming suitability of the optimized geometries for Fe(III) complexes. Also, the 3D‐distribution map for HOMO and LUMO of the compounds were obtained. The new compounds showed potent antibacterial activity and their antibacterial activity (MIC) against Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacterial species were also determined. Results of antibacterial test revealed that coordination of ligands to Fe(III) leads to improvement in the antibacterial activity.  相似文献

In this study, the CuS nanoparticles loaded on activated carbon (CuS‐NPs‐AC) composite was synthesized and then, characterized by XRD and FE‐SEM analyses. The prepared composite was used as a potential adsorbent for the simultaneous ultrasound‐assisted removal of Indigo Carmine (IC) and Safranin‐O (SO). The CuS‐NPs‐AC dose (0.01‐0.03 g), sonication time (1‐5 min), initial SO concentration (5‐15 mg L‐1) and initial IC concentration (5‐15 mg L‐1) as expectable effective parameters were studied by central composite design (CCD) under response surface methodology (RSM) to obtain an useful knowledge about the effect of simultaneous interaction between IC and SO on their removal percentage. The optimum SO and IC removal percentages were determined to be 98.24 and 97.15% at pH = 6, 0.03 g of the CuS‐NPs‐AC, 3 min sonication time, 12 and 10 mg L‐1 of IC and SO. The values of coefficient of determination (R2) for SO and IC were 0.9608 and 0.9796, respectively, indicating the favorable fitness of the experimental data to the second order polynomial regression model. The isotherm data were well correlated with Freundlich model. The maximum monolayer adsorption capacities of 87.5 and 69.90 mg g‐1 at room temperature for IC and SO in the investigated binary system expressed the high efficiency of the novel adsorbent for water cleanup within a short time. The investigation of correlation between time and rate of adsorption revealed that IC and SO adsorption onto the CuS‐NPs‐AC followed pseudo‐second‐order and intra‐particle diffusion simultaneously.  相似文献

TiO2/WO3 nanocomposite with nanodisk morphology was prepared and successfully used as a photocatalyst. The nanocomposite was obtained via sonochemical and hydrothermal methods, using pomegranate juice as a capping agent. The products were characterized by FE-SEM imaging, BET, EDAX spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, DRS, and FT-IR spectroscopy. TiO2/WO3 nanocomposite showed high sensitivity to absorb visible light in compared to TiO2. In an optimized condition, the yield of the aerobic photocatalytic oxidation of benzyl alcohol derivatives reached to 65% for the TiO2/WO3 nanocomposite, while the conversion percent of the derivatives was less than 8% and 50% on the TiO2 and WO3 nanoparticles, respectively. Experimental results were supported by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The DFT results in several solvents of different dielectric constants, confirmed the strong dependence of light absorption and photocatalytic activity to adsorption energy of the substrates on the surface of the nanoparticles (Ead). In addition, the theoretical results showed an inverse correlation between the adsorption energy of benzyl alcohol and its conversion percent, accordance to the experimental trend.  相似文献

The preparation of bimetallic Pd/Pt nanofoam for use in fiber based solid-phase microextraction (SPME) is described. First, a highly porous copper foam was prepared on the surface of an unbreakable copper wire by an electrochemical method. Then, the substrate was covered with metallic Pd and Pt using galvanic replacement of the Cu nanofoam substrate by applying a mixture of Pd(II) and Pt(IV) ions. The procedure provided an efficient route to modify Pd/Pt nanofoams with large specific surface and low loading with expensive noble metals. The fiber was applied to headspace SPME of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) (as the model compounds) in various spiked water and wastewater samples. It was followed by gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID). A Plackett-Burman design was performed for screening the experimental factors prior to Box-Behnken design. Compared with the commercial PDMS SPME fiber (100 μm), it had higher extraction efficiency for BTEX. Under the optimum conditions, the method has low limits of detection (0.16–0.35 μg L?1), a wide linear range (1–200 μg L?1), relative standard deviations between 5.8 and 10.5%, and good recoveries (>85% from spiked samples).

A magnetic sorbent was fabricated by coating the magnetized graphene oxide with polystyrene (PS) to obtain a sorbent of the type GO-Fe3O4@PS. The chemical composition and morphology of the sorbent were characterized. The sorbent was employed for the enrichment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from water samples. Various parameters affecting the enrichment were investigated. The PAHs were then quantified by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection. Linear responses were found in the range of 0.03–100 ng mL?1 for naphthalene and 2-methylnaphthalene, and of 0.01–100 ng mL?1 for fluorene and anthracene. The detection limits (at an S/N ratio of 3) range between 3 and 10 pg mL?1. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) for five replicates at three concentration levels (0.05, 5 and 50 ng mL?1) of analytes ranged from 4.9 to 7.4%. The method was applied to the analysis of spiked real water samples. Relative recoveries are between 95.8 and 99.5%, and RSD% are <8.4%.

A multicomponent electrochemical sensor, with two nanometer-scale components in sensing matrix/electrode, was used to simultaneous determination of levodopa (LD) and tyramine (TR) in pharmaceutical and diet samples. Multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used as carbonaceous materials in the electrode construction. 5-amino-3',4'-dimethoxy-biphenyl-2-ol (5ADMB) was used as electron mediator and Pt nanoparticles (nPt) as a catalyst. The 5ADMB catalyzes the oxidation of LD to the corresponding catecholamine, which is electrochemically reduced back to LD. Preparation of this electrode was very simple and modified electrode showed good properties at electrocatalytic oxidization of LD and TR. Using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), a highly selective and simultaneous determination of LD and TR has been explored at the modified electrode. Differential pulse voltammetry peak currents of LD and TR increased linearly with their concentrations at the ranges of 0.50–100.0 μM and 0.60–100.0 μM, respectively. Also, the detection limits for LD and TR were 0.31 and 0.52 μM, respectively. The electrode exhibited an efficient catalytic response with good reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

The electrochemical synthesis of some new 2-[(4-methyl-2-pyridyl)amino)-1,4-benzenediol derivatives was performed via the electrochemical oxidation of hydroquinones in the presence of 2-amino-4-methylpyridine in an aqueous solution. The results demonstrate that electrogenerated p-benzoquinone participated in the Michael-type addition reaction via an electrochemical–chemical (EC) reaction mechanism pathway and converted to the corresponding 2-[(4-methyl-2-pyridyl)amino)-1,4-benzenediol derivatives. These new compounds have been synthesized in high yields and purity without using any toxic reagents or catalyst at the surface of carbon electrode.  相似文献

The effect of Zr as a grain refiner on the solidification behavior, micro- and macrostructure of a new Al–Zn–Mg–Cu aluminum super-high strength alloy containing high Zn content was studied. The addition of 2 mass% Zr reduced the grain size from 1500 to 190 μm. Moreover, the dendritic structure of the alloy altered from a coarse, elongated and non-uniform morphology to a rosette-like shape and more uniform one. The parameters of liquidus region of cooling curve obtained from thermal analysis were in a good correlation with grain size results. The maximum of first derivative in the liquidus region was introduced beside recalescence undercooling which could predict the grain refinement level even after disappearing of recalescence in the cooling curve. Furthermore, the addition of 1 mass% Zr enhanced fraction of solid in dendrite coherency point from 21 to 31% and lessened the amounts of porosity from 2.3 to 1.4%.  相似文献

A rhodamine-conjugated coumarin (L) was used in designing a selective fluorescence chemosensor for the determination of trace amounts of Cr3+ ions in acetonitrile–water (MeCN/H2O (90:10, %v/v) solutions. The intensity of the fluoresce emission of the chemosensor is intensified upon addition of Cr3+ ions in MeCN/H2O (90:10, %v/v) solutions, due to the formation of a selective 1:1 complex between L and Cr3+ ions. The fluorescence enhancement versus Cr3+ concentration has been found to be linear from 1.0?×?10?7 to 1.8?×?10?5 M and a detection limit of 7.5?×?10?8 M. The proposed fluorescent probe proved to be highly selective towards Cr3+ ions as compared to other common metal ions and could be successfully applied to the determination of Cr3+ concentrations in some water and wastewater samples.  相似文献
