This paper investigates the problem of projective lag synchronization behavior in drive-response dynamical networks (DRDNs) with identical and non-identical nodes. An adaptive control method is designed to achieve projective lag synchronization with fully unknown parameters and unknown bounded disturbances. These parameters were estimated by adaptive laws obtained by Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for synchronization are derived analytically using the Lyapunov stability theory and adaptive control. In addition, the unknown bounded disturbances are also overcome by the proposed control. Finally, analytical results show that the states of the dynamical network with non-delayed coupling can be asymptotically synchronized onto a desired scaling factor under the designed controller. Poly(?-caprolactone) grafted poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) functionalized hydroxyapatite (HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL) nanocomposites were synthesized by the combination of reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and ring-opening polymerization (ROP). The RAFT agent was anchored on the surface of hydroxyapatite nanocrystals (HAPs) through the silane condensation process of 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane followed by reaction with potassium xanthogenate. Poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) was covalently functionalized on the surface of HAPs by RAFT polymerization. Then, poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL) was grafted on HAPs by ROP based on the hydroxyl groups of PHEMA to afford HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL. The structure and composition of HAP@PHEMA-g-PCL nanocomposites were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, and TGA analyses. The morphology and formation of the polymer encapsulating HAPs were demonstrated from SEM and TEM images, while the 1H MNR analysis of the cleaved PHEMA-g-PCL confirmed the grafting. 相似文献

Despite its cultural and nutritional importance for local Aboriginal people, the unusual insect honey produced by Western Australian honeypot ant (Camponotus inflatus) has to date been rarely investigated. This study reports on the honey’s physicochemical properties, its total phenolic, major sugars and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural contents, and its antioxidant activities. The honey’s color value is 467.63 mAU/63.39 mm Pfund, it has a pH of 3.85, and its electric conductivity is 449.71 µSiemens/cm. Its Brix value is 67.00, corresponding to a 33% moisture content. The total phenolics content is 19.62 mg gallic acid equivalent/100 g honey. Its antioxidant activity measured using the DPPH* (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) and FRAP (ferric reducing–antioxidant power) assays is 1367.67 µmol Trolox/kg and 3.52 mmol Fe+2/kg honey, respectively. Major sugars in the honey are glucose and fructose, with a fructose-to-glucose ratio of 0.85. Additionally, unidentified sugar was found in minor quantities. 相似文献

The presence of heavy metals in water bodies is linked to the increasing number of industries and populations. This has serious consequences for the quality of human health and the environment. In accordance with this issue, water and wastewater treatment technologies including ion exchange, chemical extraction, and hydrolysis should be conducted as a first water purification stage. However, the sequestration of these toxic substances tends to be expensive, especially for large scale treatment methods that require tedious control and have limited efficiency. Therefore, adsorption methods using adsorbents derived from biomass represent a promising alternative due to their great efficiency and abundance. Algal and seaweed biomass has appeared as a sustainable solution for environmentally friendly adsorbent production. This review further discusses recent developments in the use of algal and seaweed biomass as potential sorbent for heavy metal bioremediation. In addition, relevant aspects like metal toxicity, adsorption mechanism, and parameters affecting the completion of adsorption process are also highlighted. Overall, the critical conclusion drawn is that algae and seaweed biomass can be used to sustainably eliminate heavy metals from wastewater. 相似文献

The Galerkin finite element model (GFEM) may provide oscillatory results when employed to predict contaminant transport in groundwater unless a very fine mesh is used. Adaptation of a very fine mesh may make the application of the GFEM impractical to field problems. The Petrov—Galerkin finite element models (PGFEMs) can provide oscillation free results for relatively coarser mesh. However, the PGFEM violates the Galerkin principle and introduces large “numerical” dispersion. The objective of this paper has been to develop accurate criteria to improve the applicability of the GFEM to obtain oscillation free accurate results for coarser mesh and compare its performance with that of the PGFEM. It has been shown that the GFEM provides oscillation free accurate results for coarser mesh with Peclet number Pe 20. Further, the GFEM prediction has always been more accurate than the PGFEM for a variety of source configurations and flow fields. 相似文献

We consider the arrival time distribution defined through the quantum probability current for a Gaussian wave packet representing
free particles in quantum mechanics in order to explore the issue of the classical limit of arrival time. We formulate the
classical analogue of the arrival time distribution for an ensemble of free particles represented by a phase space distribution
function evolving under the classical Liouville's equation. The classical probability current so constructed matches with
the quantum probability current in the limit of minimum uncertainty. Further, it is possible to show in general that smooth
transitions from the quantum mechanical probability current and the mean arrival time to their respective classical values
