We show that the strong form of Heisenberg’s inequalities due to Robertson and Schrödinger can be formally derived using only classical considerations. This is achieved using a statistical tool known as the “minimum volume ellipsoid” together with the notion of symplectic capacity, which we view as a topological measure of uncertainty invariant under Hamiltonian dynamics. This invariant provides a right measurement tool to define what “quantum scale” is. We take the opportunity to discuss the principle of the symplectic camel, which is at the origin of the definition of symplectic capacities, and which provides an interesting link between classical and quantum physics. 相似文献

The cationic Ir(III) acetone complex (POCOP)Ir(H)(2)(acetone)(+) (POCOP = 2,6-bis(di-tert-butylphosphinito)phenyl) was shown to catalyze the reduction of a variety of tertiary amides to amines using diethylsilane as reductant. Mechanistic studies established that a minor species generated in the reaction, the neutral silyl trihydride Ir(V) complex (POCOP)IrH(3)(SiEt(2)H), was the catalytically active species. High concentrations of this species could be conveniently generated by treatment of readily available (POCOP)IrHCl with tert-butoxide in the presence of Et(2)SiH(2) under H(2). Thus, using this mixture in the presence of a trialkylammonium salt, a wide array of tertiary amides, including extremely bulky substrates, are rapidly and quantitatively reduced to tertiary amines under mild conditions with low catalyst loading. A detailed mechanistic study has been carried out and intermediates identified. In brief, (POCOP)IrH(3)(SiEt(2)H) reduces the amide to the hemiaminal silyl ether that, in the presence of a trialkylammonium salt, is ionized to the iminium ion, which is then reduced to the tertiary amine by Et(2)SiH(2). Good functional group compatibility is demonstrated, and a high catalyst stability has provided turnover numbers as high as 10,000. 相似文献

Summary Salts of the anions [SnX5]–, [SnX4Cl, [SnX3Cl2]–, [SnX3]–, [PbX3]–, [SbX4]–, [SbX3Cl]–, [SbX2Cl2]–, [BiX4]–, [AuCl2]–, [AuX2]–, [AuXCl]–, [AuX4]–, [Au2X6]2– and [PtX4]2–, where X– = C6F5S–, have been isolated and characterised. The neutral SbX3 and BiX3 species, have also been isolated and shown to be pyramidal monomers (19F.n.m.r., i.r., and Raman spectral evidence). Various physical properties of the complexes prepared, as well as their stereochemistries (where these could be ascertained), are similar to those of the known corresponding halogeno compounds of these elements. The lattice energies of a series of organic dihydrogenphosphate salts capable of second harmonic generation (SHG) have been calculated. These calculations, coupled with empirical data, indicate that a minimum of 20–25% of the lattice energy arises from hydrogen-bond interactions. Hydrogen bonding is shown to be a strong enough force to have a profound effect on the overall packing and crystal geometry of such ionic materials, and is thus an important factor to consider for crystal engineering. 相似文献

On parvient en particulier aux deux conclusions essentielles suivantes: les borazines sont nettement plus aromatiques que les boroxines isologues et la greffe de groupements méthyles ou d'atomes de chlore, qu'elle se fasse sur le bore ou sur l'azote, confère toujours au dérivé substitué une aromaticité au moins égale à celle du borazine lui-même.

A simple method to calculate the - and -electron structure of borazines and of substituted boroxines of symmetry D3h: A theoretical estimation of the relative aromaticity of those molecules
( + ) electronic structures calculations are performed for eight D 3h borazines and boroxines, using in concert previously published U.V.-consistent H.M.O.-L.C.A.O. and bond by bond iteration methods. An estimation of bond electronic populations gradients is so obtained, allowing to set up a new aromaticity scale for such molecules. The main results are the following: Borazines are much more aromatic than isologous boroxines and B-or N-graft of alkyl groups or chlorine atoms never decreases (and generally increases) aromaticity.
Zusammenfassung Es wird für acht Borazol- und Boroxolverbindungen mit D 3h -Symmetrie unter Verwendung einer am UV-Spektrum geeichten iterativen HMO-LCAO-Theorie die - und -Elektronenstruktur bestimmt. Hiermit kann eine Abschätzung des Gradienten der Bindungselektronendichten gewonnen werden, aus der eine Einteilung der Moleküle nach ihrem aromatischen Charakter hervorgeht. Es ergibt sich, daß die Borazole aromatischer sind als die isoelektronischen Boroxole und daß eine Substitution der H-Atome am Bor oder Stickstoff durch Chlor oder Methylgruppen die Aromatizität fast immer erhöht, jedenfalls aber nie erniedrigt.

The first visible‐light‐mediated synthesis of trifluoromethylselenolated arenes under metal‐free conditions is reported. The use of an organic photocatalyst enables the trifluoromethylselenolation of arene diazonium salts using the shelf‐stable reagent trifluoromethyl tolueneselenosulfonate at room temperature. The reaction does not require the presence of any additives and shows high functional‐group tolerance, covering a very broad range of starting materials. Mechanistic investigations, including EPR spectroscopy, luminescence investigations, and cyclic voltammetry allow rationalization of the reaction mechanism. 相似文献
