A study of optical lifetimes as determined from surface conditions is made through Raman lineshape analysis and non-equilibrium phonon distributions induced by energetic photoelectrons. Results indicate that first-order Raman scattered linewidths are lifetime determined and that phonon lifetimes depend upon surface conditions. Our observations also give strong support to the mechanism and analysis proposed earlier for hot phonon generation through photoelectron relaxation.  相似文献

Two mechanical models have been presented in this paper for structural failure prediction of piping systems conveying liquids subjected to pressure transients. One model takes into account the axial fluid–structure interaction (FSI) phenomenon between fluid and pipe motion, whereas the other refers to an extension of the well-known waterhammer formulation. Both models are described by a system of non-linear hyperbolic equations which are solved by using a numerical procedure based upon the operator splitting technique and Glimm's scheme. To implement Glimm's method, it is presented the solution of a 4×4 Riemann problem with discontinuous coefficients. Numerical predictions of both models are presented and compared, so that the influence of the FSI term on the failure analysis is focused on. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The development of the Ritter reaction of N-(hydroxymethyl)saccharin with nitriles for the synthesis of N-[(saccharinyl)methyl]amides is reported. The success of this reaction relies on an operationally simple procedure and on the use of inexpensive reagents. The present method enables access to a variety of saccharin scaffolds of potential interest in medicinal chemistry in moderate to high yields. Furthermore, the scalability of this reaction was demonstrated by a multigram-scale transformation, without any loss of efficiency.  相似文献

Fatty acids determination is of paramount importance for quality control and suitable labeling of edible oils, required by regulatory agencies in several countries, and fast methods for this determination are worldly desired. This review article aimed to explore the available analytical methods for vegetable and marine oils analyses employing CE, which can be a straightforward and faster alternative than GC methods for fatty acid determination, considering some purposes. CE usually offers the possibility of a rapid analysis with a simple preparation of the sample, without requiring specific columns, which are inherent advantages of the technique. Instrumental conditions and the key points about fatty acids determination employing the technique are highlighted, and the main challenges and perspectives are also approached. Potential use of CE for edible oil analyses has been demonstrated for research and routine, which can be of interest for industries, regulatory agencies, and edible oil researchers. Therefore, we have explored the analytical approaches described in the last decades, intending to spread the interest of CE methods for fatty acid monitoring, label accuracy assessment, and food authenticity evaluation of edible oils.  相似文献

The voltammetric behavior of clopidogrel bisulfate (CLO), an antiplatelet agent, was investigated for the first time in the literature on a cathodically pretreated boron‐doped diamond electrode (CP‐BDDE) using cyclic (CV) and square‐wave voltammetry (SWV). It was observed an anodic peak for CLO, suitable for analytical purposes, at about 1.15 V (vs. Ag/AgCl (3.0 mol L?1 KCl)) by CV in Britton‐Robinson buffer solution (pH 5.0). On the physical‐chemical characterization of the interface phenomena, it was proved that electrode reaction of the analyte was controlled by a diffusion process. At optimized square‐wave parameters (pulse amplitude of 60 mV, frequency of 30 Hz and scan increment of 3 mV), the obtained analytical curve was linear for the CLO concentration range from 0.60 to 60.0 μmol L?1, with a detection limit of 0.60 μmol L?1. The simple, rapid and greener analytical method, based on CP‐BDDE electrochemical sensor, was successfully applied in real samples (pharmaceuticals and urine).  相似文献

Trace impurities of Cd, Cu and Pb were determined in alumina based catalysts using direct solid sampling graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (DSS-GF AAS). The analyzed catalysts are widely used in petrochemical processes. The following analytical parameters were evaluated: pyrolysis and atomization temperatures, feasibility of calibration with aqueous solutions, the necessity for palladium as chemical modifier and the sample mass introduced into the atomizer. Test samples between 0.05 and 8.5 mg were used. Palladium was investigated as chemical modifier but no improvement in analytical performance was obtained and its use was considered unnecessary for all elements. The results obtained by DSS-GF AAS were compared with those of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP OES) and also with conventional solution analysis by GF AAS (Sol-GF AAS). Characteristic masses were 1.4, 9 and 20 pg, for Cd, Cu and Pb, respectively. Using DSS-GF AAS the relative standard deviation was always less than 10% and the results agreed with those obtained by Sol-GF AAS and ICP OES. Calibration using aqueous solutions showed good linearity within the working range (R2 better than 0.99). Limits of detection (3σ, n = 10) for Cd, Cu and Pb using the proposed procedure were 0.2, 22, and 1.2 ng g− 1, respectively.  相似文献

An enzymatic study has been performed in the search for synthetic routes to produce chloramphenicol derivatives through regioselective processes using lipases. Complementary transesterification and hydrolytic reactions have been carried to synthesize chloramphenicol regioisomers. Reaction parameters, such as biocatalyst, solvent, acyl donor, and temperature have been optimised in order to obtain chloramphenicol esters with high yields through acylation processes. Scale-up of the enzymatic reactions (1 g-scale at 0.25 M) and catalyst recycling (up to 10 cycles) have been successfully achieved. Furthermore, monoacylated derivatives at the more hindered secondary position could also be obtained employing hydrolysis processes.  相似文献

Polysaccharide- and gelatin-based bioblends and polyblends were synthesized and characterized by complex impedance spectroscopy, proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). Higher ionic conductivities of 7.9 × 10?5 S/cm at room temperature and 2.5 × 10?3 S/cm at 80 °C were obtained for the agar-chitosan polyblends. For all samples, the activation energies, calculated from the Arrhenius plot of ionic conductivity and from the onset of NMR line narrowing, are in the range 0.30–0.86 and 0.38–0.57 eV, respectively. The glass transition temperatures (T g NMR ) varied from 200 to 215 K, depending on the sample composition. The temperature dependence of the 1H spin–lattice relaxation revealed two distinct proton dynamics. The EPR spectra are characteristic of Cu2 ions in tetragonally distorted octahedral sites. Quantitative analysis of the EPR spin Hamiltonian g || and A || parameters revealed copper ions complexed by nitrogens and oxygens in the samples containing chitosan or gelatin and only by oxygens in agar-based ones. The in-plane π bonding is less covalent for the gelatin and chitosan blends. Results suggest that natural bioblends and polyblends are interesting systems to be used in materials science engineering.  相似文献
