We show that the kinetic model of a single rate-determining step in a reaction mechanism can be extended to systems with multiple overall reactions for which the elementary reactions obey nonideal or fractal kinetics. The following assumptions are necessary: (1) The system studied is either closed or open, but no constraints exist preventing the evolution toward equilibrium. (2) Elementary reactions occur in pairs of forward and backward steps. (3) The kinetics of the elementary steps are either nonideal or fractal and are compatible with equilibrium thermodynamics. (4) The number of reaction routes is identical with the number of rate-determining steps. If these hypotheses are valid, then the overall reaction rates can be explicitly evaluated: they have a form similar to the kinetic equations for the elementary reactions and the apparent reaction orders and fractal coefficients can be expressed analytically in terms of the kinetic parameters of the elementary reactions. We derive a set of relationships which connect the equilibrium constants of the reaction routes, the corresponding overall rate coefficients, and the stoichiometric numbers of the rate-determining steps. We also derive a set of generalized Boreskov relations among the apparent activation energies of the forward and backward overall processes, the corresponding reaction enthalpies, and the stoichiometric coefficients of the rate-determining steps. If the elementary reactions obey fractal kinetics, the same is true for the rate-determining steps. The fractal exponents of the forward and backward overall reactions are linear combinations of the fractal exponents of the fractal elementary reactions. Similar to the theory of single rate-determining steps, our approach can be used for selecting suitable reaction mechanisms from experimental data. 相似文献

Treatment of [Li(L1)]2 (1) or K(L2) (2) with SnX2 in Et2O yielded the heteroleptic beta-diketiminatotin(II) halides Sn(L1)Cl (3a), Sn(L1)Br (3b) or Sn(L2)Cl (4), even when an excess of the alkali metal beta-diketiminate was used [L1={N(R)C(Ph)}2CH, L2={N(R)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(R)}, R = SiMe3]. From and half an equivalent each of SnCl2.2H2O and SnCl2, or one equivalent of SnCl2.2H2O, the product was Sn(L3)Cl (5) or Sn(L4)Cl (6), in which one or both of the N-R bonds of L1 had been hydrolytically cleaved; the compound Sn(L5)Cl (7) was similarly obtained from and an equivalent portion of SnCl2.2H2O [L3={N(R)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(H)}, L4={N(H)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(H)} and L5={N(H)C(Ph)}2CH]. The halide exchange between 3a and 3b, studied by two-dimensional (119)Sn{1H}-NMR spectroscopy, is attributed to implicate a (mu-Cl)(mu-Br)-dimeric intermediate or transition state. The 13C{1H}-NMR spectra of or showed two distinct resonances for each group, which coalesced on heating, corresponding to DeltaG(338 K)= 69.4 (3a) or 72.8 (3b) kJ mol(-1). The chloride ligand of was readily displaced by treatment with NaNR2, CF3SO3H or CH2(COPh)2, yielding Sn(L1)X [X = NR2 (8), O3SCF3 (9) or {OC(Ph)}2CH (10)]. Oxidative addition of sulfur or selenium to gave the tin(IV) terminal chalcogenides Sn(E)(L1)(NR2)[E = S (11) or Se (12)]. The X-ray structures of the cocrystal of 3a/3b and of the crystalline compounds 5, 6, 8, 11 and are presented, as well as multinuclear NMR spectra of each of the new compounds. 相似文献

The title complex, C17H9N5·C6H4S4, contains π‐deficient bis(dinitrile) and TTF molecules stacked alternately in columns along the a‐axis direction; the interplanar angle between the TTF molecule and the isoindolinyl C4N[C(CN)2]2 moiety is 1.21 (4)°. The N‐allyl moiety in the TCPI molecule is oriented at an angle of 87.10 (10)° with respect to the five‐membered C4N ring, and the four C[triple‐bond]N bond lengths range from 1.134 (3) to 1.142 (3) Å, with C—C[triple‐bond]N angles in the range 174.3 (3)–176.9 (2)°. The reaction of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(19)] with Mo(CO)(6) and Ru(3)(CO)(12) under sunlamp irradiation provided the new mixed-metal clusters [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] and [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)], which were isolated in yields of 85% and 61%, respectively. The compound [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 20.190 (7) ?, b = 16.489 (7) ?, c = 27.778 (7) ?, beta = 101.48 (2) degrees, and Z = 4 (at T = -75 degrees C). The cluster anion is composed of a Re(6)C octahedral core with a face capped by a Mo(CO)(4) fragment. There are three terminal carbonyl ligands coordinated to each rhenium atom. The four carbonyl ligands on the molybdenum center are essentially terminal, with one pair of carbonyl ligands (C72-O72 and C74-O74) subtending a relatively large angle at molybdenum (C72-Mo-C74 = 147.2(9) degrees ), whereas the remaining pair of carbonyl ligands (C71-O71 and C73-O73) subtend a much smaller angle (C71-Mo-C73 = 100.5(9) degrees ). The (13)C NMR spectrum of (13)CO-enriched [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] shows signals for four sets of carbonyl ligands at -40 degrees C, consistent with the solid state structure, but the carbonyl ligands undergo complete scrambling at ambient temperature. The (13)C NMR spectrum of (13)CO-enriched [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)] at 20 degrees C is consistent with the expected structure of an octahedral Re(6)C(CO)(18) core capped by a Ru(CO)(3) fragment. The visible spectrum of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] shows a broad, strong band at 670 nm (epsilon = 8100), whereas all of the absorptions of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)] are at higher energy. An irreversible oxidation wave with E(p) at 0.34 V is observed for [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)], whereas two quasi-reversible oxidation waves with E(1/2) values of 0.21 and 0.61 V (vs Ag/AgCl) are observed for [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)]. The molybdenum cap in [Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO(4))](2-) is cleaved by heating in donor solvents, and by treatment with H(2), to give largely [H(2)Re(6)C(CO)(18)](2-). In contrast, [Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)](2-) shows no tendency to react under similar conditions. 相似文献

M4X3[Si2O7]-Type Lanthanide Chalcogenide Disilicates (M ? Ce? Er; X ? S, Se) Attempts to produce single crystals of MSe2 (or MSe2?X) by vapour phase transport with iodine or the oxidation of MCl2 (or MClH) with sulfur in the presence of NaCl in sealed evacuated quartz containers often yielded well-grown single crystals with the composition M4X3[Si2O7] (M ? pr, Sm, Gd, X ? Se, and M ? Nd, Er, X ? S) as by-products. The crystal structures (tetragonal, 141/amd (no. 141)), Z = 8, contain two crystallographically independent M3+ Cations that are interconnected by chalcogenide (X2?) and disilicate anions ([Si2O7]6?). (M1)3+ is surrounded by eight (five X2? and three terminal O2? of the disilicate group), (M2)3+ by nine (three X2? and six terminal O2? of the [Si2O7]6? anion) chalcogenide anions. The acidity of 5-benzylbarbituric acid and a series of 5-substituted benzylbarbituric acids has been determined in 50% ethanol/water and they were found to be more acidic than barbituric acid. The pKas of these derivatives obey Hammett's equation indicating that their acidity is affected by substituents in the same manner as the benzoic acid ionization constants. Reactions of Pd3(OAc)6 with lithium salts of mononegative bidentate N,N-ligands, L, of various types, such as formamidinates, benzamidinates, triazinates, and guanidinates, were investigated in a search for ways to obtain Pd2(4+) compounds that could serve as precursors to paddlewheel complexes with a metal-metal bond and a Pd2(5+) core. It was found that the reactions are complex and that either square planar mononuclear or dinuclear species may be formed depending on the reaction conditions or the method of isolation. For Pd2L4 compounds, alpha and beta isomers were sometimes obtainable. In the alpha isomer, all N,N-ligands serve as bridges, whereas in the beta isomer, two ligands bridge the Pd2(4+) unit and each of the other two chelate to a metal atom. Electrochemistry shows that the paddlewheel compounds Pd2(TolNC(H)NTol)4, Pd2(PhNC(Ph)NPh)4, and Pd2(PhNC(Ph)NPh)3(OAc) and the orthometalated complex cis-Pd2[eta2-C6H4NC(Ph)N(H)Ph]2(mu-OAc)2 have reversible oxidation waves between 0.70 and 0.92 V vs Ag/AgCl, which makes them good candidates for chemical oxidation. 相似文献

The reaction of dimethylzinc and tri(tert‐butyl)silylphosphane in toluene yielded dimeric methylzinc tri(tert‐butyl)silylphosphanide ( 1 ) which crystallized tetrameric. Compound 1 was deprotonated with sodium in DME and the solvent‐separated dimeric ion pair [(dme)3Na]+ [(dme)Na(MeZn)2(μ‐PSitBu3)2]? ( 2 ) was isolated. The reaction of 1 in THF with two equivalents of potassium and one equivalent of tri(tert‐butyl)silylphosphane gave dimeric [{tBu3Si(H)P}{(thf)2K}2(MeZn)(PSitBu3)]2 ( 3 ). Both of these phosphanylzincates contain Zn2P2 cycles with Zn‐P bond lengths of approximately 237 pm, whereas in 1 larger Zn‐P bond lengths of 248.5 pm were found due to the larger coordination numbers of the phosphorus and zinc atoms. 相似文献

The reaction of the appropriate 2-benzothiazolinone with 2-chloroacetamide under basic conditions afforded the 2-oxo-3(2H)-benzothiazolineacetamides 6–9. The 2-thioxo-3(2H)-benzothiazolineacetamide ( 10 ) was prepared by the reaction of 3-(carbethoxymethyl)benzothiazoline-2-thione with ammonium hydroxide. The reaction of acetamides 6–10 with the appropriate anhydride containing a catalytic amount of the sodium salt of the acid corresponding to the anhydride afforded the titled compounds 11–18 in excellent yields. The omission of the catalyst in the same reaction furnished a mixture containing 57% of the titled compound, 37% of the nitrile and 6% of an unknown. Possible mechanism and supporting nmr, ir and mass spectral data are discussed. 相似文献
