This paper explains a thorough exergy analysis of the most important reactions in soil–plant interactions. Soil, which is a prime mover of gases, metals, structural crystals, and electrolytes, constantly resembles an electric field of charge and discharge. The second law of thermodynamics reflects the deterioration of resources through the destruction of exergy. In this study, we developed a new method to assess the exergy of soil and plant formation processes. Depending on the types of soil, one may assess the efficiency and degradation of resources by incorporating or using biomass storage. According to the results of this study, during different processes from the mineralization process to nutrient uptake by the plant, about 62.5% of the input exergy will be destroyed because of the soil solution reactions. Most of the exergy destruction occurs in the biota–atmosphere subsystem, especially in the photosynthesis reaction, due to its low efficiency (about 15%). Humus and protonation reactions, with 14% and 13% exergy destruction, respectively, are the most exergy destroying reactions. Respiratory, weathering, and reverse weathering reactions account for the lowest percentage of exergy destruction and less than one percent of total exergy destruction in the soil system. The total exergy yield of the soil system is estimated at about 37.45%. 相似文献

Some new oxygen–sulfur, multibenzo macrocyclic ligands containing amide groups have been prepared using the macrocyclization process with the reaction of 2,2′-thiobis-[4-methyl(2-aminophenoxy)phenyl ether] as a symmetrical diamine with appropriate dicarboxylicacid dichlorides in moderate yields. This macrocyclization led to the formation of di- and tetramide macrocycles. These reactions were routinely carried out at ambient temperature in CH2Cl2 as solvent in high dilution without template effect conditions. It is found that sulfur the atom affects the rigidity of the macrocycles and diastereotopicity of nuclei in the ring of these series of macrocyclic compounds. 相似文献

1,2-Bis(salicylidenamino)ethane loaded onto sodium dodecyl sulfate-coated alumina was used as a new chelating sorbent for the preconcentration of traces of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) prior to atomic absorption spectrometric determination. The influence of pH, flow rates of sample and eluent solutions, and foreign ions on the recovery of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) by this sorbent has been studied. The retained ions were eluted with 4 mol·L nitric acid and determined by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). The data of limit of detection (3σ) for Pb(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) were found to be 8.57 and 2.69 ng·L^-1 respectively, while the enrichment factor for both ions was 100. The proposed method was successfully applied to determination of lead and copper in different water samples. 相似文献

The reaction of 4‐Amino‐6‐methyl‐1, 2, 4‐triazine‐3(2H)‐thione‐5‐one (AMTTO, 1 ) with silver nitrate in methanol led to the dimeric complex {[(AMTTO)2Ag]NO3}2 ( 2 ). 2 was characterized by elemental analyses and IR spectroscopy as well as by X‐ray structure analysis. Crystal data for 2 at ?80 °C: crystal system orthorhombic, space group P212121 with a = 1043.6(1), b = 1329.6(1), c = 2358.4(1) pm, Z = 8 and R1 = 0.037. We have developed a solid phase extraction method for the determination of cadmium ions in aqueous samples. It is based on the adsorption of Cd(II) on alumina nanoparticles coated with sodium dodecyl sulfate and modified with a newly synthesized Schiff base. Analytical parameters such as pH value, amount of adsorbent, type and concentration of eluent, flow rates of the sample and eluent, sample volume and matrix effects were optimized. Desorption is accomplished with 2?mol?L?1 nitric acid. Cd(II) was then determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The maximum enrichment factor is 75. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the detection limit is 0.14???g?L?1 in original solution. The adsorption capacity of the modified sorbent is 4.90?mg?g?1 for cadmium ions. The method was applied to the determination of trace quantities of Cd(II) in water, wastewater, and biological and food samples with satisfactory results. Figure

The synthesis and characterization of three new palladium(II) complexes of 4-amino-6-ethyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-thion-5-one (AETTO, H3L), [PdCl2(H3L)]·H2O (1), [Pd2Cl2(H2L)(PPh3)3]NO3·2CH3CN (2) and [Pd(HL)(PPh3)2] (3), are reported. All the synthesized compounds are air-stable and were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. In addition, the molecular structures of the complexes have been determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. On the basis of the crystallographic data, the neutral ligand in 1 and the deprotonated ligands in 2 and 3 act as bidentate NS donors. The singly deprotonated ligand in 2 acts as a bridging agent between two metal centers in the binuclear PdII-complex. 相似文献
