The Fermi energy, average total kinetic energy density, and also average kinetic energy of finite diamagnetic motion of an electron gas of specified concentration are calculated. The kinetic energy of continuous longitudinal motion of the electrons along the direction of an external magnetic field H is determined. It is found that in the quantum limit, when the maximum Landau quantum number N m =0, the kinetic energy of continuous longitudinal motion tends to zero with increase in the external magnetic field strength. If the maximum Landau quantum number is greater than zero, the longitudinal and transverse kinetic energy components of the degenerate electron gas change only insignificantly. The effect of an external magnetic field on the ionization equilibrium of atoms in the nondegenerate nonrelativistic plasma is examined. When taken into account that the interaction of the magnetic moments of electrons with the magnetic field immediately changes their kinetic energy, which is incorrect, the degree of ionization of atoms will increase with increase in the magnetic field strength compared to the atomic concentration in the absence of a magnetic field at the same temperature. When taken into account that this energy changes in view of the Pauli principle and spontaneous minimization of the quantum system, the degree of ionization must decrease with increase in the external magnetic field strength, that is, a strong magnetic field suppresses ionization of atoms in the nonrelativistic plasma at a given temperature. New method for activating the quartz-leucoxene concentrate via dissolution of a part of silicon and aluminum compounds was suggested and verified in order to intensify the chlorination of the concentrate. The conditions of suppression of a combustion wave propagating along a homogeneous porous layer of organic combustible materials are investigated basing upon a physico-mathematical model. The dependence of free water effervescence intensity on the water volume fraction and the medium temperature is presented. A water supply source in motion is employed to suppress the combustion wave. It is shown that an increase in the mass water flow rate results in a considerable increase in the maximum velocity of the source motion, at which the combustion wave can be suppressed. This is due to a reduction in the loss of the water evaporating above the burning zone. The effect of the water supply point displacement on the efficiency of combustion wave suppression is analyzed.  相似文献

Particular attention was given to the operation conditions and requirements, as well as to special selection criteria for associated petroleum gas flow meters intended for low-pressure flare lines. Formal kinetic regularities and the end products of oxidation of magnesium with carbon tetrachloride in the environment of dipolar aprotic solvents were revealed. The effective equilibrium constant, enthalpy and entropy of adsorption of carbon tetrachloride and N,N-dimethylformamide at a metal surface, the rate constant and activation energy of the investigated reaction were determined. The effect of temperature on the dependence of the process on the donor properties of the used coordinating solvents was established and justified.
